Time of Reading 10:45 to 11:00 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Va.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2794].

3. As we find, there are conditions which prevent the better physical functioning of the body. While apparently of quite a general nature, these in their inception are of a very definite nature.

4. We find that these arise primarily from a glandular disturbance, and this then tends to give disorder - or a disturbance - in most of the functioning of the organs, and in the ability of the body to store energy; thus leaving rather a body making most of its physical efforts upon its nerves.

5. These, then, are the disturbances as we find them with this body, [2794] we are speaking of, present in this room:

6. In the reactions indicated from this nature of disturbance, we find a quickened pulsation in the blood supply, with a low count in the vital forces or in both the leucocyte and the red blood supply. Thus a form of anemia.

7. We find in the nervous system that the energies are used up easily, owing to the inability for the storing of energies through the low blood count, as well as the conditions in the activities of the organs themselves. And the general mental or physical strain causes anxieties to the coordinating centers through or between the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic nervous system.

8. Thus the body at times has severe headaches; at times a little pain through the throat, the lungs, the small of the back, and through the digestive system. The limbs at times give a great deal of anxiety by their heaviness, or languidness; the inability to sleep or rest well at times, and at others apparently not able to stay awake - or as

alert as the body desires.

9. These arise from nerve exhaustion at times and nerve anxiety at times - coming from the general weaknesses throughout the body.

10. In the activity or functioning of the organs themselves, we do not find organic disturbance; that is, any diseased organ, but organs at dis-ease often; as through the throat, bronchi, lungs and larynx giving anxiety; the stomach and digestive forces, inability to assimilate or to retain or to take foods at times; easily upsetting the digestive forces as related to the eliminating or relaxing of the liver - or coordinating between liver and kidneys.

11. The organs of the pelvis become exaggerated in their activity and give disturbances at the various periods - all from a general condition.

12. The glands that are disturbed, primarily, are the INNER activity of the thyroid, the adrenals, the pelvis and the digestive forces.

13. Then, in making suggestions for the improving of these, and for corrective measures:

14. First we would have at least five or six good hydrotherapy treatments; including the light sweats followed by an oil rub with particular reference to the whole length of the cerebrospinal system. The oil rub would include these, or be prepared in this manner, see?

15. To 6 ounces of Russian White Oil, Nujol or Usoline, as the base - add, in the order named: Olive Oil....................1 ounce, Cedar Wood Oil...............1 ounce, Peanut Oil...................2 ounces, Oil of Sassafras Root......1/2 ounce, Rose Water...................1 ounce, Witchhazel...................1 ounce.

16. To be sure, these will separate - three different conditions; but when ready to use, shake well together, pour in an open saucer, dip fingers in same and massage all the body will absorb, taking time to massage close into each vertebra, from the base of the brain to the end of the spine; also across the abdomen, especially at that area of the diaphragm; kneading this into the abdomen itself, as well as on the limbs, the arms and the legs, and especially the soles of the feet. We would take these two a week, see? These rubs should be very thorough.

17. Through the period of the five or six general hydrotherapy treatments - we would have at least two colonic irrigations, to purify the colon.

18. After the sweats and rubs have been taken for at least six such treatments - we would then begin with the vitamins - comprising all of the vitamins in sufficient quantity for body building. Take two capsules each day; those prepared by Vick's Laboratory.

19. When there are the troubles, or the disturbances with the Periods, use a heated salt pack over the areas at the pubic bone. This may be heated in a sack. This will aid in bringing better and nearer normal forces for these activities.

20. Do that.

21. Ready for questions.

22. (Q) Any special treatment for the sinus? (A) The massage as will be given in neck and upper dorsal will stimulate the better activity for the sinus. This is an effect, not the cause; though, to be sure, the drainage from same causes some upsets in the digestive forces at times. But with the application of those things suggested, we will find bettered conditions for this body. Do that.

23. (Q) Any spiritual advice? (A) Keep that attitude which is the basis of the hopes in the body. Keep true to the faith that is latent within.

24. We are through for the present.
