Born June 26, 1897, in Washington, D.C. Time of Reading 11:30 to 11:50 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Md.

1. HLC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane; giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '36 - yes - '27 - what a changing about - '25 - " etc., on back to birth date.)

3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as [2813].

4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them, these we choose from same with the desire and purpose that this information be a helpful experience for the entity; enabling the entity to better fulfillthose purposes for which it entered this sojourn.

5. While there is interest evinced in things that are unusual, the entity is of such a nature, or so centered, as to desire to be able to explain every phenomenon it may experience; and either sets same by chance or as having been forewarned or foretold, and accredits same to the mental capacities of individuals.

6. Such things as sleight of hand, the activities of individuals in which the hand is quicker than the eye, have an interest for the entity; as do those things accredited to psychic influences. But little credence is given by the entity, unless it is explained.

7. The entity should know that it has a body, it has a mind, and hopes it has a soul. For, deep and latent within is

2813-1 Page 2

that desire, that hope for some sort of a future consciousness.

8. Know that if there is any hope for a future consciousness, there HAS been a consciousness before this present awareness. For, all that is has been, and all that is to be has been already; and God requires the best of every individual soul.

9. For, the manifestations of a soul in the earth are the opportunity to make self so aware - by the application of those attributes to which you accredit any divinity in thine OWN relationships with thy fellow man.

10. Thus may the entity reason, and in so reasoning apply self in that measure as to become aware of the full measure of thy relationship to thy Creator - through thy application of such tenets as ye accredit to Him, in thy relationships to thy fellow man today.

11. Mercury, Venus, Jupiter are the ruling influences in the astrological aspects.

12. Hence the entity is one given to numbers, figures and the like; with a high mental capacity.

13. Thus things of a mechanical nature, things having to do with mechanics of any character, may be the channels through which the entity may find the greater satisfaction in this material plane.

14. Even yet the entity may apply self in that direction as of auto or plane preparations, or manufacture, or repairs, in such measures as to bring greater awareness in the experiences in the earth.

15. As to the material sojourns - while not all of these may be indicated here - those that influence the entity in the present are given, to indicate how the entity applied self in relationships to same through those experiences. Know that these are given with the desire that this be a helpful influence.

16. Hence, we would magnify the virtues, we would minimize the faults; just as the individual entity will, or should, apply such in its relationships to others. For this prevents the pessimism that destroys the abilities of individual entities or souls who doubt everything and everybody.

17. Know that with the measure ye mete it is measured to thee again. With what judgment ye judge others, so ye are judged by those about thee.

18. Before this the entity was in the environs of the present land - as James Mark Wooten, acting in the capacity as an engineer.

19. In and about the city now known as Washington were the

2813-1 Page 3

activities of the entity. Those experiences bring oft in the present experience of the entity the ability for judgment of space, of acres, of distances, of those things pertaining to the engineer that would make measurements of land, of lots, of countries, counties and such outlines.

20. Look as to who laid out the present city, or the district, and find self associated there.

21. Before that the entity was in the Trojan War period, when there were those mechanical applications made to the weapons of defense as well as weapons of destruction.

22. There the entity, in the name Rekulus, was active in such experiences as to bring the present desires for making ingenious things for defense. And these have been a part of the entity's experience oft in its activity, and in its associations with various influences.

23. The entity gained materially through those experiences, yet because there were those able even to use the entity's ideas to improve on same there came discouragements and doubts as to the abilities of others to attain or acquire or apply other than by building on the offices or activities of others.

24. These brought the anxieties and hates, and these account for the likes and dislikes that are so severe in the entity's experience in its associations with individuals.

25. Before that the entity was in the Arabian and Persian land, in the "city in the hills and the plains."

26. There the entity was among the tradesmen that journeyed to and fro from the Indian land to the Egyptian land. And with the establishing of the "city in the hills and the plains," it may be said that the entity eventually made that place its headquarters; thus enabling it to check both on the activities of the caravans directed by the entity and those comings and goings through those lands, eventually establishing the exchange in that city.

27. Hence those things that have to do with games, the interest in games of every kind; especially indoor interests - boxing, billiards, bowling. All of these become as a part of the entity's awareness or consciousness.

28. These are good, applied in their proper relationships. Yet, as we find, in those fields that have to do with mechanics, or mechanical machinery, the entity might have - or may yet make - the better success; as in the aircraft especially, also motor transportation.

29. The name then was Elimene.

30. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, when there were those rebuildings in the land, and the preparations for the coordination of activities of varied

2813-1 Page 4

lands to which and where emissaries had been sent; also the preparations for barges, or canals, or those upon which there would be the exchange of the products of various lands. Such were the activities of the entity - the forms and modes of transportation; the adding of more than two wheels to a container or a cart may be said to have been the experience of the entity, in making the application of same. These had, in those experiences, even more than four - for not only the men but the animals, in making their use as a part of the experience of man.

31. The name then was Iet-en.

32. Then, as to the abilities of the entity in the present:

33. First, know thy ideals - physical, mental and spiritual. And know the physical result is first conceived in spirit, acted upon by mind, and then manifested in the material - with what spirit ye entertain.

34. Study to show thyself approved unto that ideal, condemning none, not even self; but keeping self unspotted from the condemnation of others.

35. Do not that in secret that would be questioned in the open.

36. In the field of mechanics may the entity excel the better. But these must be choices and applications of the abilities of the entity.

37. Ready for questions. (Left out of original copy)

38. (Q) In what branch of the service would I be most helpful during the present emergency? (A) Airplane construction or repairs.

39. (Q) Who should I contact in order to get in this particular branch? (A) Any of those who manufacture or make same!

40. (Q) For what particular service should I apply? (A) That has to be decided within self. That in which there may be the adaptation of self most easily to the mechanics of same.

41. (Q) If I go into the service, what suggestions would you have regarding my business while I'm gone? (A) This may be assigned to someone else, or it may be discontinued. For, with the application in this direction as indicated, why should there be the return to such?

42. (Q) I have been thinking of buying a boat and going into the Coast Guard. Would this be the solution to the problem of service? (A) As indicated, this has been a part of the experience. But those activities that remain upon land - as indicated

2813-1 Page 5

in Mercury, Venus and Jupiter - are the better for this entity.

43. (Q) Where and what was the association in past experiences with my sister, [1935]? (A) In the present environs and in the experience before this, closely associated.

44. (Q) With Mrs. [808]? (A) Aware of and acquainted with, but not particularly interested in - because of differences of opinions held, because of associations with her daughter.

45. (Q) Any other suggestions that may be given at this time? (A) Apply self in those directions indicated, if the entity would exceed even its own expectations.

46. We are through for the present. Two copies to Mrs. [1935] and Mrs. [808] Copy to Ass'n file Ass'n file
