1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2823].
3. As we find, there are conditions that prevent the better physical functioning of the body. These are rather insidious in their nature, and involve the activity of the entire circulation - both as related to the superficial and the central nervous system in combination with same.
4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2823] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. First, in the blood supply there are those conditions existent in which there is produced incoordination in the channels of elimination. Thus there are irritations in the superficial circulation, and poisons eliminated there, that should be eliminated through other channels. These began with those conditions which existed through the periods of gestation. Thus they will be something not easily dealt with, though may be materially aided. But then there will be the tendencies - until there is an entire change, or requiring a full cycle for the completion of the elimination of the disturbance from the system.
6. Thus there will be required a great deal of patience and persistence on the part of the body, if these forces are to be entirely eradicated from the body-activities.
7. The changes that bring about these irritations are from conditions which have existed, and these vary according to certain chemical changes that are wrought in the system - the perforations, or tendencies for the circulation through the jejunum to absorb from the body those impurities which, carried in the lymph and the emunctory circulation, produce those irritations which occur in portions of the circulation.
2823-2 Page 2
8. Thus we find the tendencies for the involvement, naturally, in the nerve forces also of the system. This is evident especially in the attitudes at times in the body-forces. For, with the activity being in the superficial and sympathetic nerve forces of the body, and the superficial circulation of blood as well as nerve supply, this causes the centers along the spine to become more irritated, or aggravated. And the body - as it has experienced, if it will analyze itself - suddenly has unusual, or - to others - very peculiar ideas about things, and immediately they are gone, as well as - having once arisen - again recur, time and again.
9. In the activity of the circulation this produces or carries a humor in the blood. For, with this being carried in the circulation in the manner, there is the lack of those restraining forces that are carried on in elimination channels, both in the liver and in the kidneys themselves. So, these each at times have their disturbance in the body.
10. These are the activities which produce this disturbance through the system.
11. In making applications for helpful forces, first we would prepare a tonic. Purchase these ingredients yourself and prepare it!
12. To a gallon of Distilled or Rain Water, add - IN THE ORDER NAMED: Yellow Dock Root..........1 ounce, Burdock Root............1/2 ounce, Buchu Leaves.............20 grains, Cincho Bark...............5 grains, (or, if the ground Cincho Bark is used...that is, Quinine......1/2 or 1 grain), Podophyllin (or Mandrake Root - the Podophyllin is more easily obtained).....1 grain, Elder Flower..............4 ounces. Put these in an enamel container, with an enamel or glass cover on same, and boil together. After it comes to a boil, let it boil for twenty minutes, stirring most of the time. Let it cool, and then add to this: Grain Alcohol (in which 1 dram Balsam of Tolu has been cut)..............2 ounces.
13. Take a teaspoonful twice each day, before the morning meal and before retiring. This, to be sure, is to be
2823-2 Page 3
drained or filtered when it is first prepared, see?
14. This will purify the system. Though producing an irritation, the first few weeks, it will gradually aid the body in SO MANY of those disturbing forces throughout.
15. On the irritated areas of the body use Carbolated Vaseline, this merely to keep the areas soft. This we would apply preferably of evening, when a gauze may be put over same to prevent the soiling of linens.
16. Do take, also, a tea prepared from the Mullein leaves and the Mullein flower, half and half of same - a pint of each; this in measure, not in weight; and this put in a quart of water and let it steep - not boil - but almost boil. Strain, and then add one ounce of grain alcohol as a preservative. But even then keep this in a cool place. Take a teaspoonful of this once each day.
17. Also we would take about an ounce of Saffron Tea about two to three times each week - this prepared as regular tea would be.
18. Do take a good eliminant, at least sufficiently often to keep the system cleansed; preferably such as Senna Tea - made from Senna Pods or Senna Leaves.
19. Apply the very low electrical forces to the body to change the vibrations of the body; this with the violet ray (hand machine, bulb applicator). This NEVER over the irritated areas, but preferably along the spine and over the liver and the spleen area, or around the diaphragm area.
20. In the diet - beware of too much starches. Do not overeat of fats of any character. Also sweets are bad. Preferably use honey or saccharin as the sweets.
21. Use whole grain, or whole grain breads rather than the purified or white breads.
22. Never take any starches in combination with cheeses or the like, though these separately may be taken in moderation.
23. Have plenty of fruits and vegetables.
24. Do include beets and beet tops often in the diet, but NEVER with vinegar or any acid in same.
25. Do these, and we will gradually find helpful conditions.
26. Ready for questions.
27. (Q) How can the eyesight be improved or corrected? (A) This will be benefited a great deal by the general tonic, but the head and neck exercises will also be very helpful to the body. And don't strain the eyes! Use the glasses more.
28. (Q) What causes the frequent severe headaches, and how can this cause be removed? (A) These arise primarily from the disturbance through the
2823-2 Page 4
alimentary canal; and as the purifying of the system is aided, and the general physical health improved, these should disappear.
29. (Q) Are the glands functioning properly? (A) Glands are very good so far as these are concerned - as glands.
30. (Q) In what manner can the hot flashes and heart palpitation be overcome? (A) By the taking of those properties indicated. All of these have been indicated in the tonic for the general health, for this will stimulate activity of organs as related one to another through the general system, or through the glands and especially the emunctory activity.
31. (Q) What physical and mental exercises will be beneficial? (A) Of course, a meditation is well always; for the mental attitude has much to do with the general physical forces. As for the physical exercises, walking is the best of any exercise - and swimming, now for the next three to four months.
32. (Q) How can the body best find mental and physical relaxation? (A) Make up the mind to seek it, and be it!
33. (Q) What treatment should be followed for hemorrhoids? (A) The best is to treat the general condition as indicated. But the best for the specific condition of hemorrhoids is the exercise, and if this is taken regularly these will disappear - of themselves! Twice each day, of morning and evening - and this doesn't mean with many clothes on! Rise on the toes, at the same time raising the arms; then bend forward, letting the hands go toward the floor. Do this three times of morning and three times of evening. But don't do it two or three times and then quit! Or don't do it three to four times a week and then quit, but do it regularly! Be regular with it, each day!
34. (Q) What other conditions in this body should be corrected, and in what manner? (A) As indicated. Do these, and we will build a general condition that will correct most of the irregularities that are a part of the general condition. For, the therapeutic reaction of these properties in the system, if prepared properly, is just as indicated. And we will find the body feeling quite different by the time the full quantity has been taken! Take it all, and then after resting from it for at least a month, make up another quantity and take it again.
35. (Q) Any other advice? (A) Keep the purpose right - creative, ever; judging no
2823-2 Page 5
one, but keeping self in that attunement to Creative Forces.
