TEXT OF READING 2836-1 F 2

This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 29th day of October, 1942, in accordance with request made by the father - Mr. [...], new Associate Member of the Ass''n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., recommended by Dr. T. R. McLean.

Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., N.Y.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here.

3. As we find, conditions are such that ordinarily, if the body were left alone, they would develop to that state of being an imbecility, or with only partial unfoldment of the reflexes in body.

4. Those conditions arise from prenatal disturbances; that is, without sufficient impulse in the body forces to take from the body upon which the foetal forces were dependent, the elements to produce in the glandular system that necessary to complete the activities along the pineal; in order to finish, as it might be said, the centers from which there is the radiation of impulses to the sensory system.

5. The physical development becomes normal, for these influences arise from other sources.

6. There has not as yet developed lesions in brain, but these will gradually become existent as the physical develops to the excess of the mental reactions through the sensory forces. For, instead of the regular activities or folds that make for the developing, parts of these will be left out of normal development in the reactions to sensory forces AND their activity in the movements and activities of the body, see?

7. Then, to bring about a change in these activities will naturally require patience, time, and continued watching and developing of those forces necessary.

8. There may be applications in which elements may be carried vibratorially to the body that would supply energies to build brain centers. And we may see the demonstration here of those things that we have indicated through these channels, as to how there may be gradually built a brain -

as to build near to normal reactions, with the ability of the body to develop normally in its physical, mental and spiritual natures - through the use of the low electrical vibrations, with the application of the mechanical therapy to centers from which there are radial activities to the central nerve system and to the sensory or sympathetic forces.

9. But this will require patience and persistence. However, it will give this entity, this body, an opportunity for its expression in this particular experience.

10. Use, then, the Radio-Active Appliance for coordination. Use the low Wet Cell Appliance for nerve energy building.

11. The Wet Cell Appliance would be used once each day for thirty minutes, preferably as the body sleeps.

12. The solution for charging the Wet Cell Appliance would be as follows; in the gallon and a half of distilled water: Copper Sulphate...................1 1/2 pounds, Sulphuric Acid C.P....................1 ounce, Zinc.................................15 grains, Willow Charcoal.....................1/2 pound.

13. The Appliance would carry a Gold Solution, the proportions being one grain Chloride of Gold to each ounce of Distilled Water; and use at least three ounces of the solution. Of course, change the Gold Solution after using fifteen days.

14. The attachments would be made in this manner:

15. The small copper plate would be attached to the 9th dorsal plexus, while the large nickel plate - through which the Gold Solution passes vibratorially - would be attached to the lacteal duct center, three fingers from the navel center to the right and one finger up.

16. The Radio-Active Appliance would be used for thirty minutes each day, but at the opposite portion of the day. For instance, if the Wet Cell Appliance is used in the afternoon, or evening, use the Radio-Active in the morning, see?

17. The body would also sleep through most of this period.

18. The attachments would be made to the wrist and the opposite ankle. Keep all of the plates clean or polished, before and after using.

19. As the Radio-Active Appliance is attached, use that period for the Mother to meditate, pray, see with the body, as it makes suggestions to the body, the help that is to come. For, the lack was here in the body forces; it must be supplied in the mental through the radial activities in the body through suggestion.

20. Also, at least twice each week, have mechanical (osteopathic) stimulations of the brachial center, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th cervical center, the lumbar axis, and the 9th dorsal center; that there be the coordination between the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal system from these centers, see?

21. Then the regular care of the body.

22. Do these for thirty days - then we should give further instructions for the use of that to enable the body to build. These suggestions are merely the beginning, of course.

23. Ready for questions.

24. (Q) Is there anything wrong with the heart? (A) Nothing that will not be aided by this balancing indicated here. This is quickened because of the brachial center not being in accord with the impulses from the brain. Do these things suggested here. THEN we may find the reason for many questions, from the conditions that would arise. Do these for the thirty days; then we will give further instructions.

25. We are through for the present. Copy to Dr. McLean (one for Father and one to be sent to Mr. A. M. Godfrey, 2709 Lafayette Blvd., Norfolk, Va., when ordering the Appliances or solutions for use) " " Ass'n file (See articles [which were enclosed] explaining theory of the Radio-Active & Wet Cell Appliances. It may be that you can secure the Appliances there secondhand, and merely let Mr. Godfrey overhaul them and put in shape to use according to individual specifications for this case. Be sure to send him the copy of the Reading, so he will know the correct proportions for the solutions. A few years back these individuals had Wet Cell Appliances, you might phone them to see if they are available: Mrs. D. Tarsia, 802 Scarsdale Ave., Scarsdale, N.Y., patient of Dr. J. C. Champion of White Plains. Mrs. Laurence S. Harrison, Alger Court, Bronxville, N.Y., patient of Dr. Geo. J. Schoelles of Bronxville. Mrs. Harrison also had a Radio-Active Appliance, which she is

probably not using now. You might phone Dr. Schoelles about this and let him get in touch with Mrs. Harrison for you. Mrs. Schoelles also had a Radio-Active Appliance, which she would no doubt be glad to let you use. Let us know when you have followed all the treatments for thirty days, so we may make an appointment to give further instructions. At your convenience, let us have a history of this case from time of obtaining the Reading, so we may have something with which to compare our information.)
