1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2838].
3. Now, as we find, conditions are such that it may not be said that the body is diseased - but rather ill at ease.
4. Hence the disturbances are such that they might be called tendencies, trends, weaknesses in this or that portion of the system.
5. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2838] we are speaking of:
6. The blood supply indicates a disturbance in the eliminating forces of the body, as produced by the glandular strangulations in various portions of the body; where - through the soft tissue, the lymph and emunctory forces, - the circulation should flood or flow out from same in the channels or ducts for elimination.
7. Thus we have periods when there are muscular aches or pains, or those disturbances through various parts of the body; shoulders, through portions of the lungs, neck, head; and then again it may be through the torso, or through the hips or limbs.
8. These vary according to the cycle of activity of various portions of the body, and according to how well there are those combinations in the system that aid in correcting or purifying these.
9. We find that the effects upon the nervous system cause the periods when there is more uneasiness than diseased conditions; but - as indicated - disease and dis-ease are different temperaments, or are the result of varied effects in the body. Disease is the effect of the correlation of disturbances such as to prevent recuperative forces being the more active. Dis-ease is rather a tendency or an

inclination, because of excesses of this or that, or the lack of some activity in the body-forces.
10. Here, then, we find that these effects arise more from glandular disturbance and the vital energies that should be distributed through the body from that assimilated.
11. In making corrections, then - we would begin first with a purifying period for the body.
12. For five days take internally each morning before the meal is taken, two drops of Atomidine in half a glass of water.
13. After such a five-day period, leave off the Atomidine and have - during the next week - at least two or three osteopathic adjustments, and relaxing rather than stimulating treatments. These should give particular attention to the areas from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cervical, particularly to the 9th dorsal AND the coccyx area.
14. Then, after these three treatments, begin again with the Atomidine; for at least another five days, see? And during that five-day period rest from the adjustments.
15. Have then at least three more.
16. By that time we should find quite a variation, and quite a different reaction and effect through the body.
17. Do these, and then if there are further disturbances, we may give information respecting same.
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) Would any type of support tend to bring about a recovery from the pain in lower left portion of back? (A) A belt will help, to be sure; not elastic, but cloth. However, this should not be necessary when the system is purified - the glandular forces through the kidney area, through the digestive forces, through the activity of the thyroid; and the stimulation as will be received by this relaxing of the centers through those areas of the upper dorsal and coccyx should assist in eliminating these disturbances.
20. (Q) Is there any material which might be injected into the painful area, to absorb or remove the cause of the pain? (A) These had best be eliminated through the regular eliminating channels. Do as we have indicated.
21. (Q) Is there any abnormality in the disc between the vertebrae in the lumbar spine? (A) More abnormalcy in the coccyx area than in the lumbar area, but this is rather just a very minute thickening of tissue; not what would be called abnormalcy, but congestion.
22. (Q) Is the ligamentous tissue disturbed in any way?
2838-1 Page 3
(A) As just indicated - rather congestion than the ligaments being disturbed. Do as given, and then - after the second or third period of following those suggestions - we may give further information.
23. We are through for the present. Two copies to Self (one for osteopath) Copy to Ass'n file (In case you'd prefer to have an osteopath who has had experience with Readings, in your vicinity we would refer you to: Dr. Geo. J.
