1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2841].
3. As we find there are disturbances that produce tendencies and inclinations in the body. And without these being corrected, there will gradually build up disturbances that may become very aggravating; as well as building constitutional disturbances that would tend to hang on.
4. We find that these have to do primarily with conditions which exist with the liver and the gall duct proper.
5. Then, these are conditions as we find them with this body, [2841] we are speaking of:
6. In the general functioning of the organs of the body, the liver is the more important than most, being - of course - the largest gland or organ in the body. And the activity of the gall duct and the excretions and secretions of the liver, especially, are necessary.
7. The action here, we find, is a deep hidden gall duct and gall bladder. Hence this flow is below normal. This, through absorption and through the lack of proper distribution of full digestive forces and fluids, leaves a tendency towards creation in the blood of that which keeps temperature. This is because we have that inclination for the respiratory system to attempt to eliminate, or to take from the system of that which should be carried or acted upon by the gastric forces, that are acted upon by the liver itself. These are the sources of this temperature, or the fever.
8. It is not, then, the true fever of the character that is sometimes experienced by a form of strep; but this varies, and there are few days that the body does not have a little temperature at some time during the day.
9. This same condition tends to make for the poor
2841-1 Page 2
circulation through the extremities of the body. The tired, aching, of course, through the shoulders and the back in the present, is more from strain.
10. Yet, if there were the proper eliminations, these would NOT be so disturbing, or they would have in a little while worn off. But these tendencies for accumulations through various portions of the body cause those inclinations that should be cared for, in bringing about bettered conditions for the body.
11. Naturally, the disturbance in this area puts excess activity upon the kidneys, to keep purification in the body.
12. When these are cleared, then, we should find there will be a great deal of difference, and there will be better digestion and quite better eliminations should result from these.
13. As we find, in making for corrective measures - for this, as we find, is the source, and most of the conditions that are now disturbing will clear up when these conditions have been set in their proper activity:
14. We would begin first with taking two Zilatone tablets with two full glasses of water each evening for at least two days - two evenings straight running, see?
15. On the third evening, take two heaping teaspoonsful of Sal Hepatica. Lie upon the right side, after taking this, until there has been an activity of the alimentary canal, or until this has flushed through the system, see?
16. Then about three days rest from taking any other eliminants or flushing of the system, see?
17. THEN begin (not before) with taking osteopathic adjustments, with special intention and tendency to osteopathically DRAIN the gall duct, see? This should not require more than five or six treatments, and don't attempt to do it - that is, to drain it - the first time or two the treatment is given. But stimulate, or relax and stimulate, the various centers so that when this is done there will be the good eliminations. And see that this is cleared.
18. Keep away, especially for a few weeks, from a great deal of fats; that is, even butter or fats of any kind, or greases, oils, see? These would tend to work a hardship.
19. But with these things done we should find a clearing of much of those disturbances, those inclinations for the body to have hot and cold spells, or cold feet, or stiffness - these should disappear.
20. Ready for questions.
21. (Q) Have any injuries or disorders persisted from an automobile accident in which I was involved about four years ago? (A) Some of the tendencies are from these - thus the
2841-1 Page 3
reason for those corrections in the cerebrospinal system that should be made, before there is the draining of the gall duct itself. This tendency in the 7th and 6th center, and the 3rd and 4th, is a part of this shock.
22. (Q) I frequently awaken in the morning with my nose tight as with a cold, my head aching and feeling miserable for an hour or two. What should I do to correct this? (A) This comes from the poor circulation. If the system is flushed from the activities here suggested, all of these drainages should be set up, see?
23. (Q) Does smoking and the moderate use of alcohol cause any trouble to my system? (A) This in moderation is not harmful. But under the present condition it works hardships. For, with already a congestion in liver, the nicotine as well as the alcohol works hardships. But these in moderation, when the disturbances are cleared, should not be harmful but stimulating to the body. But do have these corrections made as indicated.
24. (Q) On several occasions recently I have experienced a stinging sensation accompanied by a feeling of weakness in my legs below the knees. Is this serious and can it be corrected? (A) Read what we have just given, and we will see as to how these are the effects from the strain on the kidneys, the circulation through the lumbar and the lower limbs. Do as has been indicated. When these conditions are cleared, it should be some time before it would be necessary to take eliminants, if the diet is watched. But Serutan is very good - it is less habit forming than most; though if the Serutan is combined occasionally - or taken alternately - with agar, or the oils that combine agar in same - it would be much better. [Petrolagar?]
25. (Q) Should I take any vitamin medicine and if so which is the best for me? (A) You'll find, after these corrections are made, you'll have more trouble keeping your weight down than you will be needing vitamins to build up!
26. (Q) Are there any particular forms of exercise I should follow or avoid? (A) None particularly in this period, but rather keep quiet through the period. Then afterwards take any regular exercise - this is very good. Do these, if we would bring the best conditions for this

body.
