Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Mass.
1. GC: You will have before you the entity, [2845], ..., Mass., born [2845], July 1, 1901, in Vinalhaven, Maine, who seeks information, advice and guidance, in a Mental and Spiritual Reading, concerning the direction of her life in order to be of the greater service and to develop her soul faculties. The entity desires to know just how she is progressing along spiritual lines, and - if possible - what she can do to help her spiritual progress, to be of service to mankind, to prove the love she has for Jesus. Also advice will be appreciated on the meeting of her everyday problems in the home. You will answer any questions that may be asked.
2. EC: Yes, we have the entity here, [2845].
3. In giving advice or counsel for the greater unfoldment in a life of usefulness in its associations with others, and in meeting the everyday problems in the home - the basis for the reasoning would be indicated for the entity, or the basis for contemplation of such advice or counsel.
4. The entity finds itself a body - with all the faculties and desires of a material manifestation; also a mind - that gives expressions to the emotions of the body as well as the emotions of the soul, or expressions indicated through the activity of the entity in varied earthly experiences - hence there are latent spiritual urges. Then there is the expression of the soul - the real, though latent self - the entity, the soul. Thus in this three-dimensional circumstance the entity finds itself corresponding to the three-dimensional expression of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. This, as we find, is the ideal expression of the Godhead in the experience of man, and that which has been termed the Holy Bible as the light to those who seek to know the way to the better interpreting of the relationships of the entity to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
5. As individual experiences are manifested through sacred as well as profane history, one is given an insight into the
2845-1 Page 2
experiences of individuals who sought to know their relations, and who in varied times or portions of their experience adhered to, or acted in such contradictory manners as to bring destructive forces in their experience.
6. Also the promises are seen from the beginning, as to the thoughts and the attitude of the Father-God to man, to His creation, and how that there would come into the world, into the experience of man, the spirit, the mind of God.
7. Hence as one reads or sees the interpretations of these in the life of Jesus of Nazareth, who became the Christ, the Savior, through fulfilling those purposes, one realizes that indeed He has become the way, the truth and the light.
8. Thus the individual entity finds that the body, or that first creation of God, the mind, is the way; or the way through which light may come to the entity of the Father. For, as are the pronouncements in the law by Moses, "Today there is set before thee good and evil, life and death. And say not who will descend from heaven to bring a message, or who may come from over the sea, for Lo, it is within thine own heart."
9. And how WELL this is completed in that promise, that pronouncement, that admonition given by Him as He led the way to fulfill in the garden and on the Cross the law itself - to demonstrate that separation from God might indeed be broken away forever. As He gave, "In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place, that where I am, there ye may be also."
10. Thus we see the relationship each soul bears to the Father, as to the way, the Christ - by wholly trusting in Him day by day. As He said, "I stand continually at the door of thy heart. Open and I will enter."
11. How do ye open? Through searching, seeking, humbling thyself before the throne of grace and mercy, as was manifested in Him; acknowledging Him as thy Lord, thy Master, yea thy elder brother.
12. He has given also, "If ye open I will come and abide with thee."
13. This, then, is the manner, the way, the truth, the light, through which this entity may find its true relationships to the Creative Forces.
14. As indicated, there have been varied experiences of the entity in the earth, varied applications of truths, of its concept and of its ideals. Thus the entity has fitted itself in some channels for a more direct or intense manner in which there may be the manifesting of these powers that are thine, THROUGH that thou hast done ABOUT such - and
2845-1 Page 3
through the promises in the Christ NOW.
15. Thus, as we find, the entity has fitted itself as a speaker, as a teacher; especially in relationships to those that are ill in body or in mind, those who have lost their hold upon the light and the way.
16. So, through such channels may the entity aid others; knowing that as ye do so, as He has given, "Inasmuch as ye do it unto the least of these, my children, ye do it unto me."
17. Thus in those offices of instructing, of directing, of speaking to those ill at ease, in body or in mind, those afflicted in the various manners, there are those channels offered through which the entity may make manifest His love in the earth. Not unto justifying of thyself, but in thy labors glorify ever - daily - that love thou hast felt, as thou givest expression of the thankfulness for that love manifested.
18. Thus in patience with such do ye become aware of thy soul, and of the love the Father hath bestowed upon thee through the Son.
19. In the home - daily - do as ye would be done by; not as an overlord, but even as He - who thought it not robbery to make Himself equal with God, yet suffered that YOU might have an advocate with the Father-eternal.
20. Know, then - as ye call He will hear.
21. Study, then, to show thyself approved unto God, a workman not ashamed, but rightly stressing those phases of helpfulness that glorify the Christ in thy life, as well as His love in the lives of others.
22. Condemn no one. Or, as He gave, "Forgive as ye would be forgiven."
23. Keep self unspotted from condemnation of any soul. Thus may ye find the greater concept of the Christ life in thy experience; taking Him in partnership with thee; letting Him be treated in thy daily activities with others as ye would have thy Lord, thy Savior, treat thee. For this is the pattern; that ye mete thy friends, thy foes, thy loved ones, and all who would call on His name.
24. Thus ye may bring healing to others, to thyself, and glory to the Father - who will speak with thee, if ye seek His face, in the manner He has indicated.
