Time of Reading 10:50 to 11:05 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Virginia.
1. HLC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2864]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, there are real improvements in the physical forces of the body since last we had same here; yet at times there is still much to be desired.
4. Those conditions which have been indicated, that exist in the area of the thyroids, and especially in the maxillary glands there, especially on one side, give a great deal of trouble.
5. We would continue, about once a week, with the corrections osteopathically.
6. The Atomidine we would take three days each week; two drops in half a glass of water before the morning meal, for three days; then skip five days, then take three days again, see? two drops.
7. Each evening we would apply locally, about the throat and neck, a pack of Glyco-Thymoline; that is, about three thicknesses of cloth - preferably old cotton cloth, that would reach around the whole of the neck, moistened with Glyco-Thymoline and applied warm; not warming the Glyco-Thymoline but warming the cloth after being moistened with the Glyco, see? Let this remain around the neck through the greater part of the evening, then bathe off the area with plain warm water. And the next evening apply the same. Do this for at least ten days. Then leave off a period of five days, and then do this again.
8. Keep up the rest of the things suggested, and we will find these will stimulate those activities to relax and take away those tendencies towards congestions in these areas.
9. Ready for questions.
10. (Q) What causes the hurting when walking?
2864-2 Page 2
(A) This is a natural effect, as just indicated, of these pressures upon the maxillary gland. This is as of the jawing [jarring?] of the body. Do these things and we will bring better conditions for this body, [2864].
11. (Q) What may be done to help pain when walking? (A) As we find, after at least the period of ten days of applying the Glyco-Thymoline packs, and two of the osteopathic adjustments, this should lessen materially.
12. (Q) Any further suggestions for Dr. Irvin? (A) Go a little bit lower in the next two vertebrae below the cervicals, and then throughout the cervical area and neck. Not too strenuous, but relax the body. And with these other applications we will find, now, these conditions will be better.
13. We are through with this reading. Two copies to Self (one for Dr. Irvin) Copy to Ass'n file
