Time of Reading 10:35 to 10:55 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Delaware.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2871].
3. Now, as we find, in most respects conditions are very good in the physical forces of this body. But there are conditions - or subluxations - that affect the coordination between the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic nervous system.
4. These as we find may be corrected and prevent a great deal of disturbance later on, as well as eliminating those conditions that cause anxieties to the body, and may prevent other conditions from arising from emergencies.
5. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2871] we are speaking of, present in this room:
6. In the blood supply - here we find while the pulsation in most instances is near normal, there are times when, with this incoordination that arises in the areas where subluxations cause this incoordination in the cerebrospinal and sympathetic, this becomes quick - owing to its relationship not only as to proximity but as to the areas affected by this blocking in coordination through the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic forces from those areas of the 3rd and 4th and 5th dorsal, and in the 3rd and 4th cervical.
7. Thus the quickening is produced to the flexes to the heart's area, and the lungs, and tot he throat and mouth.
8. As to the elements in the blood - there is a lack of calcium in the system, and this produces a strain upon the body-force itself.
9. In the nerve systems, as indicated, we find the sources.
10. These arose first from a condition which existed in the
2871-1 Page 2
lacteals, but this lesion through the character of activity of the body has been almost eliminated.
11. But the sources or causes of these, in that subluxation existent in the 3rd, 4th and 5th dorsal, and the 3rd and 4th cervical, still exists.
12. These we would have corrected.
13. Also, at least three times each week, just before retiring, take a good pinch of table salt dry on the tongue. Don't drink water afterwards. If it is necessary during the evening or night, this is well; but this will add sufficient to the salivary glands, to the condition in the stomach, as to prevent this entanglement that occurs oft in the sleep.
14. DO have the corrections osteopathically made, so there is a perfect alignment in the cerebrospinal centers; especially those indicated.
15. This will require, as we find, having at least two or three series of these treatments. Do not attempt to make all corrections at once, but they should be gradually made; coordinating, of course, the 1st and 2nd cervicals and the dorsal and lumbar occasionally WITH the corrections made in the dorsal and cervical area. Have about six to eight adjustments in each series; and rest - or leave off - for at least five to ten days between each series.
16. Do not take sedatives as an allayer.
17. Do add the saline, or the table salt, as indicated, during these periods. Do not overtake nor undertake this, but take it AS given; at least three times each week, just before retiring, a good pinch of the table salt, dry, on the tongue when ready to retire.
18. Do have the corrections, osteopathically.
19. And, as we find, we will bring bettered conditions for this body, [2871].
20. Do that.
21. Ready for questions.
22. (Q) Who would you suggest to made the osteopathic corrections? (A) Any good osteopath who would work with those suggestions here made. Do these things, and as we find we will rid the body of these disturbances and save distresses later on. The general functioning organs are good.
23. We are through for the present. Two copies to Self (one for osteopath; either you local osteopath if you can get him to cooperate with these suggestions, or one of these below who have had experience
