Time of Reading 3:25 to 3:45 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Virginia.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions; also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2874].
3. As we find, there are conditions which prevent the better physical functioning of the body.
4. The specific disturbance that prevents the normal reaction in the auditory forces of the body is partially a constitutional disturbance and partially a local condition.
5. Hence, while this may be aided, it may not be entirely cleared in this time; owing to the long standing, and the adjustments of body to the conditions.
6. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [2874] we are speaking of:
7. The blood supply indicates that there is a disturbance through the circulation in which excess drosses are carried in the body. These at times also upset the digestive forces, produce acidity, and at times cause portions of the body - in extremities and on body forces themselves - to have a manifested expression of a rash, or irritation.
8. These are the lack of proper eliminations. And conditions in these directions may be materially aided, as may the general health of the body.
9. In the nerve forces of the body - these are the areas of an acute or specific disturbance, as the response to those reflexes upon the auditory forces of the body.
10. Hence we find in some time back there was first a catarrhal condition or disturbance in the antrum, in the soft tissue of face and head, which - combined with a deflection in the supplying of the nerve energies, as well as blood forces from centers in the coordinating areas of the upper dorsal and cervical - has allowed the Eustachian tubes first to produce a form of prolapsus, and a clogging.
11. Thus those areas are affected in and around the ear.

12. The fluids in the structural portions, as in the small bones that form the chamber of activity, have not become wholly atrophied - but an atrophy in part is existent.
13. These as we find, as indicated, may be helped, and possibly ten to fifteen percent; thus aiding the body to have a twenty to forty percent better hearing. But there would not be brought normal hearing, without a long, long period of treatment; but there would be prevented a continued condition of becoming more and more abstruse in activity; and the general health of the body may be aided, especially as related to the digestion and stimulated eliminations and the general health; relieving much of tensions and tautness through head, face, neck, and those portions of the body as related to the sensory forces.
14. We find that these would be best accomplished by first a series of several GENERAL relaxing treatments osteopathically, and then the finger surgery as may break up those lesions under the palate and along the Eustachian tubes. This, after the first, may require a second, a third, and later a fourth such treatment. These had best be accomplished by such an one as Richardson in Norfolk, Virginia.
15. If the body will do these, there may be gained a great deal of relief and helpfulness to the body.
16. These we would do.
17. A little later - after the treatments - a low form of electrical forces would be helpful; as the application of the Violet Ray; but not until these other treatments are completed, for if taken before that these applications would be more static forming than helpful. But after that, if taken once a day in periods of two to three weeks, would be most helpful; applied along the spine, base of the neck to the base of brain and behind the ears, and over the face itself.
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) Could the deafness be the cause of frequent colds and coughing spells? (A) It is a contributory condition to same, as indicated; and this - AS part of the general deafness - is a constitutional condition. By doing that as indicated, the GENERAL health will be materially aided - through the treatments, see?
20. (Q) Give the time of my physical birth. (A) In the morning - 8:05.
21. (Q) Any other suggestions as to treatments for cold or cough? (A) These as we find are the outlines for the better physical condition.

Much depends upon the mental attitude of the body, as to how effective such applications may be. If these treatments are obtained just because someone suggested them, or someone persuaded the body - little effectual results may be obtained. But if they are sought in a prayerful, determined manner to be better, that the body may in itself accomplish great things for creative forces in its experience and associations with others, MUCH may be had.
