Time of Reading 3:30 to 3:45 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., New York.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2920].

3. As we find, there are disturbances that prevent the normal reactions with this body. These are the results of some prenatal tendencies, combined with subluxations that have caused a regurgitation; producing in the flexes [flexors?, plexus?] an incoordination between cerebrospinal and sympathetic nervous system.

4. This is not true epilepsy; it is rather of that nature that might be termed such, and might grow into that form of reaction. But, as we find, it may be materially aided - if there will be corrections made in the present.

5. As we find, the contraction that takes place - causing the severe headaches, followed by nausea and the contraction in the area of the upper cervicals - comes primarily from those subluxations in the 9th dorsal, and through the sacral and coccyx area.

6. These applications we would make during the next thirty days. Then, according to the preparations these will bring, the results as may be seen may enable further instructions to be given through these sources - if these applications are consistently done. If these are not followed, don't ask for same!

7. First, osteopathically:

8. Have at least four osteopathic adjustments. But prepare the body for the adjustments that will be made in the coccyx and the 9th dorsal area - that is, the first four treatments would be in preparation for the corrections that will be made later, see? Continue these twice each week.

9. After the first four treatments have been given, then begin with local applications as follows:

2920-1 Page 2

10. One day, apply the Castor Oil Packs over the lacteal duct and liver area - these hot.

11. Then the next two days apply the Glyco-Thymoline packs. Use at least four to six thicknesses of cotton cloth, or gauze, saturated with the Glyco-Thymoline, and apply warm - not hot, but warm, over the lacteal duct and liver area.

12. Each time use the electric pad to keep these warm, not so hot as to burn the body, to be sure, but so that there may be the warmth to produce absorption. Leave these on an hour to an hour and a half at each application.

13. The body may be sponged off afterwards with a lukewarm soda water - weak solution; to remove the oil or the excess accumulations produced by the heat. These three applications would be made each week BETWEEN the two osteopathic treatments, see?

14. Keep away from sweets in the diet.

15. Do have much of the whole grain cereals in the diet, and plenty of milk.

16. Keep these up for thirty days. Then we would give further instructions.

17. We are through for the present. Two copies for Mother (one for the osteopath chosen) Copy to Ass'n file (2/22/43 GD's note: See directions [which were enclosed] for preparing Castor Oil Packs. Please let us have the name of the osteopath you choose.) e.)
