Time of Reading 10:30 to 10:55 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Mass.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2928].

3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions which have prevented and which do prevent the better physical functionings in the body.

4. We find that these have to do with the effect of glandular disturbance. And because of certain subluxations, the lower limbs are the more affected.

5. These arise, we find, from a disturbance in the glandular forces of the assimilating body - or the liver, more specific. And this in the deflection to the lower extremities, from a subluxation in the lumbar and sacral, causes lack of that stamina in the nerves, the muscles and tendons, especially in the lower limbs; producing a form of reflexes akin to that commonly termed the liver lacking in its abilities to create the vital forces for nerve stamina.

6. In the general conditions of other portions of the body, these we find naturally suffer from these delinquencies and deficiencies in these portions of the body. And the natural reaction to the mental body - in its inability to control, or to have the normal coordination between the superficial and the deeper circulation, or the impulses of the imaginative body and the physical structure - has its depressing effect upon the body also.

7. As we find, there may be helpful forces - though this will require patience, persistence and consistence in the activities of the physical as well as mental attitudes.

8. First, in the mental attitude:

9. Do not allow hindrances - of not being as others - to cause too great a depressing effect upon the purposes, aims, hopes of the body. Know that the author of life, the author

of hope, even as in Him, is able to bring that in thine own experience in and through which ye may be the greater blessings to others, and contribute thus - daily - in thy associations with others, a hope, and a glorifying of His holy name.

10. First, in the application for the physical being:

11. Have at least those corrections mechanically made (osteopathically) that are necessary in order to have perfect coordination in the segments through the lower lumbar and throughout the sacral and coccyx area.

12. This should not require too many - some six or eight in the beginning. And then later, some three to six months, when there have been other applications made, again have further corrections or alignments; that there may be the more perfect coordination of those activities as will be set up by the daily use of a massage, which we will indicate.

13. After the first series of six to eight adjustments, begin with the daily use of the Wet Cell Appliance, for twenty minutes in the beginning.

14. This would carry Chloride of Gold, one grain to each ounce of distilled water.

15. The small copper plate would be attached at the lumbar axis, and the larger plate - through which the Gold Solution passes vibratorially - would be attached at the umbilical and lacteal duct center, or - on this body - three fingers from the navel center to the right, and one finger up from that point.

16. Change the Gold Solution every fifteen days.

17. The solution for charging the Appliance should be renewed every thirty days, using these proportions: Bluestone, or Copper Sulphate...........2 pounds, Sulphuric Acid C.P......................1 ounce, Zinc....................................2 drams, Willow Charcoal.......................1/2 pound.

18. Each day, following the use of the Appliance, massage the body from the first lumbar to the feet with this combination of oils: Olive Oil...............................2 ounces, Peanut Oil..............................2 ounces, Lanolin, dissolved....................1/2 teaspoonful.

19. In the diet - have each day some form of raw fresh vegetables; including celery - particularly - and lettuce, tomatoes, radish and such. All of these may be used at once, or just some portion of same. Grate carrots and onions also with the these, from time to time. Such a salad

may be used with or without dressing, according to the body's taste.

20. Not too much of meats of any kind, but fish and fowl should be included in the diet.

21. Also include whole grain cereals.

22. But keep the attitude in that manner indicated.

23. When the Appliance has been used for two periods of the charge - that is, for sixty days - we would give further instructions.

24. Ready for questions.

25. (Q) Is there any kind of exercise that would help me to walk? (A) The stretching exercise, and - as strength comes, with the use of the brace or crutch or both - do exercise some. But do not bind up too much or too often the lower portion of the body. The massage indicated is to include the area given, from first lumbar to the tip of the toes, especially. Occasionally - when this is given each evening just before retiring - we would extend this, of course, even to the base of the brain. After there has been massaged all that the body will absorb of these oils, best that the area be sponged off with tepid soda water.

26. (Q) Is there anything you would advise my doctor to do to help me? (A) These as we find have been and are the helpful forces for this body. Use that as indicated.

27. We are through for the present. Two copies to Self (one for Dr. Marion Griswold, Melrose, Mass.) Copy to Ass'n file (3/2/43 GD's note: See article [which was enclosed] explaining theory of Wet Cell Appliance.) .)
