Born August 5, 1899, in Elk Mound, Wisconsin. Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:40 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Washington. (Life Reading Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now called [2934]. [Note: Unusual, in that he did not count back thru the years as he generally does. GD]

2. In giving the interpretations of the records - when one considers in the present the tragedies in the present experience of the entity, one need not wonder that the entity at times becomes a fatalist. And without those assurances deep within, which arise from the study of causations, purposes and aims, one wonders what MIGHT have been the outcome!

3. And yet abilities latent and manifested are but evidences, if the entity will accept same, of the power and might of the Creative Forces or Energies, God, being mindful and purposeful of and with this entity's activities in the earth.

4. Hence as we choose from the records here, these are chosen with the desire and purpose that this may be a helpful experience for the entity; continuing to assist in the entity's making applicable those virtues within.

5. We would, then, minimize faults, magnify virtues. Not that there is the attempt to glorify unseemliness at any time. Though there have been the experiences where the entity has lost hold, there still remains that ability to attract others - of both sexes - to the entity. And with these abilities, use them to the glory of the Father and not to the satisfying or gratifying of self in any manner.

6. For, yet - as there have been in many experiences of the entity, there should be in this experience days, months and years of peace and happiness, of fulfilling many desires.

7. Let these desires and hopes, then, be prompted by a spiritual purpose. For, God IS. And He will not be mocked. Whatsoever an entity sows it must reap. These need never become stumblingstones if the faith, the hope, the purposes

2934-1 Page 2

are set in the law of the Lord.

8. What, then, IS the law? "As ye do it unto the least of thy brethren, ye do it unto thy Maker."

9. The entity is one endowed with a great deal of literary abilities.

10. One that may contribute a great deal, even through these strenuous periods of experience of man, in preventing the despair of those that are under sorrow and stress, and disturbance for the fear of loved ones in divers places, - through the sheer influence of that which has been and may be the hope and the desire of the entity through its experience.

11. Contribute, then, more to the welfare work - as to how others may contribute to easing pain, in contributing to the physical and mental welfare of those in distress in any phase of their activity.

12. Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn - Saturn being in that sphere in which many of those influences in Mercury, Mars and Jupiter appear as afflictions.

13. Remember, whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth, and purgeth every one; that they may bear fruit in the glorifying of His purpose with the children of men.

14. In Mercury we find the mental ability, the poetic nature of the entity; the charm that is impelling to others.

15. We find in Jupiter the universal consciousness, that which has been the saving grace oft in the present experiences of the entity.

16. In Mars we find anger, wrath, and those forces that have contributed at times to the distresses, to those conditions that have been apparent in this experience.

17. In Saturn we find the weaknesses; yet the weakness of man is strong in the Lord.

18. Thus keep that close contact with those abilities that have brought the unfoldment of the powers and the might of unseen forces.

19. Cherish not that which may merely confuse, or distract, but rather that in the admonition given by him of old, whose precepts ye applied - yea, and whose precepts ye so wantonly destroyed: "Think not who will come from over the sea with a message that ye might know the Lord to do good, nor who will descend from heaven that ye might hear his voice. For, Lo, it is within thee." It is closer than thy right hand - yea, it is nearer than the thought itself, or the breath which is of Him in whom ye live and move and have thy being - the spirit of good will towards all.

20. As to the appearances in the earth - we find that these have been quite varied. Not all are indicated here. Some

2934-1 Page 3

ye have met. Some ye have passed beyond.

21. Look not back, then, upon false hopes or experiences, but rather lift up, look up unto the hill of the Lord. And here and now, in life, in hope, in patience, possess ye that which will make thee as one with Him.

22. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity, when there was manifested that spirit of conquering lands - or the search for gold.

23. The entity then was among those who journeyed to the western land, with its associates - yea, with a companion that has been a companion in the present experience.

24. The purposes of the entity were well, though the application of same was too oft influenced by what we term material circumstance.

25. Know, in thy soul, no one can separate thee from the love of the Father, or of light, save thine own self.

26. Then as Rosa Geldden, the entity was active in those ways in which many were tempted, and in those ways that to some are questioned, especially when relating to material obligations.

27. These brought distraughtness in the experience of the entity, yet a satisfaction - only to the material natures.

28. Before that the entity was in the Italian land, when there were those divisions as to the East and the West activities.

29. The entity then in Constantinople was the companion of the ruler, Windhamn; and made disturbances because of the writings that became a part of the entity's desire to control.

30. In the experience the entity oppressed others, that it might have its own way. It brought, through the turmoils, physical destruction to many. Yet out of same grew what became a purposefulness in those activities that brought about a stabilizing of the text of that which was and is the foundation of religious preference.

31. Hence we find a latent desire in the study of ancient manuscripts, and a knowledge of same oft that precedes even that which is attainable to the natural sources of men in the present.

32. These desires and hopes and abilities may be used as steppingstones in the present, though they may bring - as then - even tragedies (so termed) in the experiences of those with whom the entity may be at times associated.

33. Before that the entity was in the Holy City, when there were those exchanges of activities, when there were those conditions between the Roman and the Jewish rule, at the time the Master walked in the earth.

2934-1 Page 4

34. The entity then was the daughter of Caiaphas, and thus the wife of the priest who first condemned the Master. These experiences, with the happenings that came later, brought fears into the experience of the entity. And the desire to have justification of the choices made brought those experiences through that sojourn that kept the entity in a state of doubt.

35. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, when there were those activities in which there were the preparations of individuals for the enlightenment of groups in other lands.

36. The entity then became what today would be called the scribe, or the poet, or the corrector or writer of words for those who would make declarations to the various groups from the Temple Beautiful.

37. Then the name was Is-Is-Ta-Bugho.

38. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how:

39. First, as indicated, know self. Ask and answer; not merely by conscience' sake but write it down, to analyze self:

40. What is my ideal spiritually?

41. Who, and what, is the author of same?

42. This may be answered within self, through the very abilities of thine own study.

43. Then, write:

44. What are my ideals mentally? and how are these to be applied in my relationship to my fellow man? and are they the flower of my ideals spiritually?

45. Then write the ideals materially. Are these the fruit of thy ideals spiritually?

46. This will answer many of these questions in thine own conscience, thine own heart, and set thee on the way to knowing His purposes with thee.

47. In thy abilities as a writer of admonitions, as a director of welfare work, the activities of the entity may best succeed.

48. The greater happiness will come in thine own home, as ye teach others.

49. Ready for questions.

50. (Q) Would I be of more use to my country during the present crisis in actual service, than in my present industrial position? If not, how can I be of more use beyond the voluntary work which I am doing at present? (A) As the self is studied - the ideals and purposes, - what else needs be added than the fulness of the purpose as given in the present? These will be answered within thine

own self.

51. (Q) What was my past relationship to one [3024] in past incarnations? (A) In the associations in Jerusalem, as a companion.

52. (Q) What can I do to bring about greater psychic development during my present sojourn? (A) Self-analysis, and application of the tenets of the ideals that ye find latent and manifested within self. Know that thy body is indeed the temple of the living God. THERE He has promised to meet thee. These are literal, as well as spiritual, as well as mental.

53. (Q) What was the karmic debt of this entity to one [...], and has this debt now been paid? (This was my late husband.) (A) In those connections - close associations in the experience before this. This has been met. Look not back on same.

54. (Q) What has been my past relations to one James [...] in previous incarnations? (A) In the experiences as were best magnified in Constantinople, as a companion, as ones searching and seeking for the tenets and truths of old. Would be well in a close association in the present. And as we find, unless other influences enter in, will be in the present experience.

55. (Q) How soon will a union be consummated in this present sojourn? (A) This depends upon circumstance. Be not unmindful of duty, that ye may be ready, that ye may be able to fulfill all that necessary.

56. (Q) Can we together fulfillour desire of being channels for welfare to those with whom we associate, doing greater work than each one of us could do singly? (A) Much greater, and across the border - north, not south.

57. (Q) Is there anything specific I should do to bring about more economic security and greater serenity, than giving what present moral support I can from this great distance, to said James [...]. (A) This is the greater support, in the meditation and prayer that may strengthen - "As ye give, ye receive."
