Born February 5, 1917, in Rochester, New York. Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:45 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., N.Y.
1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '41 - changes - '38 - aspirations - preparations - '32 - unfoldments - '20 quite many changes - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now called [2940].
4. In giving an interpretation of the records as we find them, many phases of same present themselves for consideration. But these we choose with the desire and purpose that this information may be a helpful experience for the entity; enabling the entity to better fulfillthose purposes for which it came into this sojourn.
5. For, no soul enters by chance. For, there is a pattern to which each entity, each soul, has subscribed. That there are changes in the pattern is through the will, as well as the choices made by an entity from experience to experience.
6. We would minimize the faults, as should be the purpose of each entity, each soul, and magnify virtues. Not that there may not be indicated periods when questions might be asked as to choices made, but it is the eternal now for each entity.
7. Thus, as would be the injunction ever - know what ye believe, and the author of thy belief - or thy faith; and that the faith is founded in that which is spiritual in its
2940-1 Page 2
concept, else it may not always be creative in its aspects.
8. Certain urges are indicated not because of the position of particular planets or stars, but rather because the entity in its relationship to the universal consciousness has exercised and does exercise its influence in and with every activity or force with which contact is made. Hence rather there are the expressions of astrological terms than the adherence to what some term the astrological aspects.
9. For, in the realm of spirit or of cosmos, or of that consciousness between the material expressions, there is an awareness to the entity, to the soul. And those environs, those applications of such consciousness, have their bearing or their influence upon the entity in the material plane.
10. Just as may be seen in thought, or mind, in the material applications made in the earth by an entity, Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn, all become not mere names but as an influence, or as a characteristic in the entity's inner self.
11. One, then - as in Mercury - with high mental abilities; with those tendencies for the study or the dwelling upon mind and its influence in the material affairs of individuals, of group consciousness and its relationship to the activities of men.
12. In Jupiter we find a universal consciousness, as related to the manner in which the entity considers activities for groups - or of groups, of individuals - as related to the whole, or as related to the universality of things, of groups.
13. We find in Uranus again the mental, but as related to the differences, or the extremes in mind and its reaction, in conditions and their relationships.
14. In Saturn we find the great changes that have been and may be a part of the experience of the entity.
15. These, then, are as influences that bear upon the inner self, and find material expression in the mind, rather than in physical activities.
16. One, then, adapted to the study of phenomena as related to mind and its influence upon the individual or group activity.
17. A student, then, of psychological effects as may be produced in the activity of individuals.
18. As to the appearances in the earth - not all may be indicated; neither are these chosen as in relation to set periods or times, any more than there is the use of knowledge or understanding to meet the needs of a definite circumstance in the experience of an individual. But these are the appearances that apply in the physical being in the
2940-1 Page 3
present more through the emotional body, as related to the individuality of the entity from the sojourns in consciousnesses other than of the three-dimensional nature.
19. Thus, for this body, these are those producing urges that have to do with the present activity; while others may be applied - according to the application Of self in its relationship to conditions, circumstance or environs - that will become a part of the entity's experience.
20. Before this, then, the entity was in the land of the present nativity during the early settlings; especially in those areas known as the Mohawk Valley, when there were the questionings as to the ownership of lands, as to boundaries and metes in those periods.
21. The entity then acted in the capacity as one ministering to the physical as well as the spiritual needs of those settlers. Not altogether as a preacher, not altogether as a physician, yet in the capacity of both. Thus the entity became one to whom many came for physical as well as spiritual guidance; though the entity lent itself in real activity as to nature itself.
22. Thus we find the three influences in the present which arise from that particular sojourn, as Jonathan Snow. In the experience the entity gained, for it communed oft with nature and with the Creator of that physical activity.
23. In the present activity the urges arise for interest in things spiritual, interest in nature; interest in the natures or the natural creatures of any environ, of a community, as well as the physical resources of such communities or environs, and as to the meting out of nature and its reaction, or individuals' reaction to those particular environs.
24. Hence the entity should be gifted in detailed descriptions of same, and in writing may the entity find the outlet for those urges arising from that particular experience.
25. Before that (among those having a bearing upon the present) the entity was in the period of Augustus Caesar, when there was the recording of the activities of the various groups, or individuals put in authority in varied lands.
26. The entity then was an historian, as might be called today, yet the activities of the entity went much farther. For, there are yet those manuscripts in the Vatican that Margill [?] recorded as to the activities of those in political authority in the holy land, as well as those in authority in northern Africa, in Alexandria, in Macedonia and in Mesopotamia.
2940-1 Page 4
27. Hence the present reaction to the emotional self is the interest in peoples as related to a State, as related to that which rules them in respect to their beliefs in the moral as well as the marital codes; the interest in faiths that pertain to groups, and that bringing such to material activity in the lives of such individuals under varied climes - as illustrated in the activities of a Hindu under western civilization, or the activity of an occidental in the oriental atmosphere. This, in the entity's mind, would partake not only of the study of mind but the study of the reaction of same to individual temperament, as well as to groups and to environs.
28. Of course, such an interest may wane or it may increase at times, by the application of self and its abilities in relationship to same.
29. It may be said that the entity through that period made the greater contribution to what became the relationship of individuals in political authority upon the religious world of that period. For, the entity's experience covered other activities and was for many years the leading influence in those lives that were set in the political forces.
30. Yet the entity has such a slight interest in politics, save as it deals with the spiritual life of groups and individuals.
31. Before that the entity was in the Promised Land, during those periods when there was the returning of those groups of individuals to establish or to carry out the edict of Artaxerxes in the Holy Land.
32. The entity was among those of the Persian or Chaldean land who became imbued with that causing the individual ruler, not an adherent of that faith, to issue such edicts; whether to be popular with the subjects and in following Cyrus' edicts or whether motivated by the seeking of those in authority as priests and scribes in the city of the king, when there were those requests for the prayers of the children of the king.
33. In the activities the entity saw those disputes that arose between the priests of one class and those under Ezra and Zerubbabel and Jeshua.
34. Hence in the present we find those questionings as to ritualistic activities of any particular faith; yet the entity in its contribution to the welfare of the peoples in that period united much of the efforts; not only of those who had been left in the holy land but those disputations that arose because of the mixing of the races - or of the peoples of the land with the children of those returned from captivity.
2940-1 Page 5
35. The name then was Adonjhed. In the experience the entity was a looker-on, as might be called, and yet a contributor to the welfare and the activities of peoples, - as indicated in the universal consciousness of the entity in its relationships to things, conditions and peoples; also the abilities to aid in the present in analyzing motives and purposes of individuals or groups as related to activities. And a knowledge of habits of individuals is a study the entity should stress farther in its material activities.
36. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, during those periods when there were the turmoils and strifes from the rebellions which arose with the banishment of the Priest.
37. The entity then was a brother of the Native who raised or led that rebellion; not that one pitted against the King but that one who led in that termed the Native Rebellion; this owing to the disputations that arose with the advent of the Atlanteans.
38. With the brother, the entity contributed to those influences that brought about the restoration of the Priest in that position of contributing to the spiritual welfare of the land. And with the reestablishing, the entity was set in the position of one ministering to those efforts that brought about the establishing of the Temple of Sacrifice - where individuals might prepare themselves through what might be called in the present hospitalization, for the advent of the variations in the physical, or in the physiognomy of the race - as begun through those activities.
39. In the experience, then, those things pertaining to choice as well as the preparation of individuals for definite service, as vocational direction, were the activities of the entity.
40. And again we find those fields in which the entity in the present may contribute its efforts in directing the experiences of others into channels that will make individuals contributors, rather than as a drag or dreg upon their own environs or experiences.
41. The name then was Tshe-El-Ad.
42. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how:
43. First, as indicated - study self and self's purposes. Know thy ideals - spiritual, mental, material. Study to show self approved unto such ideals. For, as was demonstrated, as was testified of in thy activities in Rome, in Jerusalem, in Caesarea, in Troy, in Philippi - thine own body is the temple of the living God. There He has promised to meet thee.
2940-1 Page 6
44. Meditate oft. For, as ye do it unto the least of thy brethren ye do to thy Maker.
45. In the fields of assisting to open the minds of individuals to the consciousness of the abilities within, whether this is done by teaching or by writing, or by lecturing, or all of these - these are the channels, these are the outlets for those abilities; for thy faith may be strengthened in and through same.
46. Ready for questions.
47. (Q) Which of those three should I preferably do, - teach, write or lecture? (A) Each will lead into the other. Teach first, then lecture, and write as you do both. For, in teaching - as will be indicated in self - you will learn to apply. For, you cannot teach - to any success - that you do not practice in thine own self.
48. (Q) Will I require any more formal education before doing that? (A) No.
49. (Q) Just what type of teaching, or along what specific lines? (A) Psychological. As well as what might be called PHYSICAL and psychological education. Let thy light so shine, in thy application of thyself to the tenets of thine own conscience, and these will not lead thee astray.
50. (Q) How should I go about getting into this work? (A) By making application to those in channels where such is part of the curriculum or work in any given center. You have a good opportunity in thine own native place, as well as in Cleveland, or in the union, or in Indiana, or New York.
