Time of Reading 3:35 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Va.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2943].
3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions that prevent the normal physical reaction.
4. In considering the disturbance here, those things that caused same must be taken into consideration, as well as the conditions pathological and psychological with this body.
5. We find that a chemical condition in the body, which produced a thinning of the walls in the arterial circulation, caused a hemorrhage; that is now reflected in the adhesions on portions of the brain.
6. These in their reaction cause the reflexes in nerve centers in portions of the body to be lacking in their abilities for the proper reactions to the voluntary and involuntary impulses.
7. These as we find are upon the right side in the back central portion of the brain; thus involving the left area in portions of the locomotory centers through these areas.
8. The chemical reactions have been altered. A disturbance between the lung, heart and liver, still causes an undue activity in the pressures produced.
9. These, then, are those things to be warned of; either the too active or the too sedentary activity, for either of these would be harmful.
10. But the mind, the psychological reactions, the hopes and the expectancies, the desires, must be aroused to greater activity; so that the applications as we find that may be beneficial may be active and retroactive in removing the pressures that are produced in the reflexes, and in putting same to activity.
11. The mind without the incentive, without the desire,
2943-1 Page 2
becomes of such nature as to be nil in the abilities for the purely physical activity to be the recuperative or curative forces in this body of [2943].
12. This, as we find, can be done more by those who are about the body, and those who may visit with the body; through the conversation, activities and associations; but especially by those suggestions that may be made to the body by one administering to the needs of the body.
13. These, as we find, should take some definite form - as to combined interest, preferably, as to the spiritual, the musical angles, or those that appeal to the nature and tendencies of the body itself in its activities - or did before these conditions occurred.
14. Then, we would begin using a daily massage with an equal combination of Camphorated Oil, Olive Oil and Peanut Oil. Massage this into the body, massaging away from the head, and toward the body, and over those areas where the locomotories receive their impulse - as the arm, in the upper brachial, as well as the 9th dorsal and lumbar and sacral axis which give impulse to the lower limbs; also special emphasis to back of neck, around the right side of the head, behind the ear, under the ear, down the neck, and both sides of the spinal system.
15. With this, as these massages are given, there should be great care as to the type of diet. Give more of the Vitamins B as well as calcium. The calcium may preferably be given in the form of CALCIOS occasionally; the quantity that might be spread as butter - on a whole wheat cracker, about twice a week - as Tuesdays and Fridays, given regularly. Then all forms of foods that are body building, but not flesh-producing.
16. When these massages have been given, and the diet followed, for a sufficient period - combined with the activity in the suggestive forces - that there is some indication of response - which should occur within a month, and may be indicated by the tingling or pricky sensations in the foot and the arm or shoulder, from the rubs AND the suggestive treatments - THEN we would begin (not before) with the use of the Wet Cell Appliance.
17. The Wet Cell Appliance should carry Chloride of Gold to stimulate the nerve and glandular reactions, in the proportions of one grain to each ounce of distilled water. Change or renew the Gold Solution every fifteen days, using at least three ounces.
18. Change the charging solution for the Appliance every thirty days.
19. Keep up the Appliance, after it is begun, for periods of
2943-1 Page 3
at least sixty to ninety to a hundred and twenty days; continuing the massage and the other suggested applications.
20. Use the Appliance each day for at least thirty minutes. And let the body rest or sleep during the period that this is given.
21. The attachments should be made as follows: The larger nickel plate, (through which the Gold Solution passes vibratorially), would be attached at the umbilical and lacteal duct plexus; which would be, on this body, four fingers from the naval center toward the right and two fingers above that point. The small copper plate should be attached to the 9th dorsal center.
22. Do not leave the connection in the solution when not in use.
23. Keep the attachment plates clean, by the use of emery paper. When these are attached, clean them; when they are taken off, clean them; also the U connection in the solution.
24. When practical, keep the body in the open. Do this as much as is practical.
25. Do these, and we will find responses - if there is the desire created for activity of the body.
26. Ready for questions.
27. (Q) Would going to his work be too trying to him, a little at a time, now? (A) As we find, in another thirty days this may be begun. In the present it would be trying. But with the massage, and by the time the low electrical charges are begun, it should be possible. The electrical charge of the Appliance should be of sufficient strength not to cause irritation, but to supply energies that aid in this elimination of the body-forces, see?
28. (Q) Is the electric battery he is using now sufficient? (A) This is a different type of battery. The type we have just indicated, the Wet Cell Appliance, is to carry atomic vibrations of an element needed for the replenishing of nerve tissue, and to aid the areas already involved to be replaced by the circulation; assisted by the oils to be used in the massage and the assimilations from food characters.
29. (Q) Should the other battery be left off when the Wet Cell is started? (A) It should be left off when the Wet Cell is begun.
30. (Q) Should it be left off when the massage is started? (A) Not until there is the change to that attitude of expectancy, or that response indicated - that is, the
2943-1 Page 4
tingling, the prickling in the limbs and the shoulder or arm. Do these things, for the better conditions of this body, [2943].
31. We are through for the present. Copy to Sister " " Ass'n file (CALCIOS is manufactured and distributed by the Colloidal Health products Corp., Atten. A. A. Nichoson, Greenvale, Long Island, N.Y. It is a syrupy paste that sells for $2.50 a jar, and - according to the Readings - is the best way to obtain free calcium easily assimilated. See extra sheet of directions [which was enclosed] to be submitted to Mr. A. M. Godfrey, 2709 Lafayette Blvd., Norfolk, Va., Phone 35321, who has agreed to make, in his spare time, the Appliances suggested for individuals through this channel.
