Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern War Time. Washington, D.C.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here.

3. This information should be most helpful, for she prays.

4. As we find, there are definite disturbances which have prevented the better physical functionings with this body. These arise primarily, we find, from those injuries received at the time of birth, or from pressures caused that have prevented the proper distribution of reflexes from the brain force in producing coordination to the nerves especially in locomotion - though there have been considerable improvements.

5. While it will require some little time, we find that results may be obtained - if there is the correct mental attitude kept; that is, not only the creative thinking but the putting into practical everyday use of that which is attained, hoped for and expected; just being kind, just being patient, and giving the cheery words of hope to others as the body speaks with others, concerning the love and the power of the spoken word - and the Word.

6. As to that direction which would be given those making the proper adjustments and stimulation to the nervous system, and as to the manner of distribution of same - we find that these have been very well done. The deep corrections at times and the more gentle treatments at others have thus far been proper.

7. But with the changes as may be indicated here, there may be greater response, and we will see the particular reason why. With those pressures created, these are more upon the

2947-1 Page 2

reflexes to brain centers. Great credit is to be given to that application which has been made mechanically (osteopathically) in keeping down too great a quantity of space in the brain tissue, as to prevent cohesion or adhesion from forming those areas that might not be absorbed and gradually eliminated.

8. Then, we would add to the system in a manner in which there may be created in the body-forces itself those energies as may replace or rebuild the nerve tissue in the body; and thus must reach same through the power of assimilation and the activity of its distribution.

9. The basis of the impulse of nerve ganglia in the system is closer to that element of gold. Thus we would supply gold, vibratorially, through the Wet Cell Appliance carrying the Chloride of Gold.

10. Also Atomidine would be given vibratorially.

11. The Wet Cell Appliance charging solution would be as follows; or in these proportions; to the gallon and a half of distilled water; or rain water: Copper Sulphate..................2 pounds, Sulphuric Acid C.P...........1 1/2 ounces, Zinc.........................3 1/2 drams, Willow Charcoal................1/2 pound. Make this into two units; that is, two solutions are to be used; the Chloride of Gold, and also the Atomidine which will assist in correcting the activity of glandular forces as to becoming more sensitive to the nerve energies, as would be in impulse to brain force and to the reflexes along both the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal nerve center itself.

12. When using the Gold Solution (in the proportions of one grain Chloride of Gold to each ounce of distilled water - and use at least three ounces of the solution) - the small copper plate would be attached to the upper portion of the 9th dorsal center. The larger nickel plate (through which the Gold solution passes vibratorially) would be attached to the lacteal duct and umbilical center, or - on this body - three fingers from the navel center to the right and two fingers up from the point where these would cross.

13. When the Atomidine is used (in the proportions of two ounces of commercial strength Atomidine to one ounce of distilled water), the smaller plate would be attached at the 2nd dorsal center. The larger nickel plate, through which the Atomidine passes vibratorially, would be attached a little higher than when using the Gold - or at that area two

fingers below the last rib on the right side, or closer to the liver center - as related to the pancrean and gall duct area. This is for purifying the glands.

14. These attachments are to be made by the one making the adjustments osteopathically, you see, and are to be given for thirty minutes BEFORE the treatments are given; that is, alternated. At one treatment use the Gold, at the next use the Atomidine. These are not both to be given on the same day, but one at one treatment, the other at the next. But give each of these at least once each week. That would mean having at least two osteopathic treatments each week, you see, preceded by the Appliance - for thirty minutes; one time carrying the Gold, the next time carrying the Atomidine.

15. Do not let the connections remain in the solutions when not in use. Do keep the connections and plates clean by using the emery paper; cleansing these each time when taken off and each time before putting on. They are not to be bound too tight, but are to be in close accord - for it is a very low form of electrical charge. The attachments should be put in the solution and connected for ten minutes before being made to the body. When taken from the body, remove the loop that goes into the solution, cleanse and then cover same until it is to be used again. Have different solutions, and different connections to the body for each solution, see?

16. It doesn't matter whether the Gold or the Atomidine is used first, just so they are alternated each time, and there is the treatment using each of these each week. If it is practical to give the treatments more often, or every other day, it would be well - but this may not be conservative enough for the body.

17. If the osteopathic treatments are given oftener, the Appliance should be used before each osteopathic treatment is given. If it could be given daily it would be the better, but don't overdo it!

18. Now, as to the character of treatment following each attachment of the Appliance:

19. The bursa along the spine, from the base of the brain - the 1st cervical even to the coccyx end - are to each be stimulated; not too severely, but rather as upon either side, especially in all centers where the sympathetic nerve forces coordinate with the cerebrospinal system, give particular attention. Not too deep, other than about two times a month give a rather deep treatment; especially in lumbar axis, 9th dorsal, both upper and lower portion, brachial center, or at the 2nd and 3rd dorsal, the 4th

2947-1 Page 4

cervical, and the 2nd and 3rd cervical - these particularly. But ALL centers, and of course each time at the end of the treatment give the limbs that are weak a good Peanut Oil massage.

20. Keep the diets body building. Plenty of vitamins A and D; plenty of B-1 and the B-Complex; or plenty of fish and fowl as a part of the diet. Plenty of carrots, of spinach - though the spinach would be best taken raw as a salad, and the carrots in a salad and by themselves. These may be juiced or they may be taken in a salad with a dressing.

21. This is not to be all the diet, of course, but these should form a great part of the diet - just so often as not to become obnoxious to the body; altering in the manner of preparation. Beets and beet tops should be included in the diet; radishes, and the yellow yams should be included.

22. No hog meat of ANY character. Let there be plenty of fish and fowl, occasionally lamb.

23. And keep that attitude of hoping, expecting to be better. But do something with it, and with the expectations. As ye help others, ye will help yourself.

24. Ready for questions.

25. (Q) What causes pain in arms, shoulders and back, and what can be done for relief? (A) The lack of sufficient energies being supplied to the nerve forces and the stimulation of the nerve plexus calling for more activity. AND at times a pressure in the assimilating system. Thus the needs of keeping good eliminations, even though at times - because of the sedentary activity, or character of the activity - colonic irrigations are required.

26. (Q) How can deafness in left ear, which has existed since mastoid operation, be helped? (A) All of these will be a helpful experience. But here the fluid has passed.

27. (Q) How can she best overcome constipation? (A) By the diet; and, as indicated, these are taken into consideration. Do these, and in the manner indicated, and we will find quicker, safer improvement.

28. We are through for the present. Two copies to Mother (one for Dr. Waters) Copy to Association file (See article [which was enclosed] explaining theory of Wet Cell Appliance, also extra sheet of directions to be sent to
