Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern War Time.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2959].

3. As we find, there are conditions that disturb the body, preventing the better physical functioning of the body.

4. These need attention in the present, more as corrective and preventative applications than those that would be called curative in the immediate.

5. For, unless there are these precautions, we find that there may come such a breaking down of tissue and of vitality as to cause a great deal of disturbance.

6. These as we find, primarily, are the effects of a pulmonary disturbance. While in the present these are not active (broken cellular forces), there are such repressions as to cause those conditions in the blood supply, in the central nervous system and the central circulation, to become involved.

7. Thus the tendencies for superacidity through the system, the lack at times of the normal appetite, or at times the abnormal appetite. These are reflected in the condition, because of the tendency for the breaking down of the abilities of assimilation. And then when built up, it calls for the excesses; and these are not good in the present conditions.

8. There are the tendencies for a disturbance through the alimentary canal, and especially in the colon; the weaknesses and an irregularity as to the activity of the Periods. These are all effects, and indicate - in the manner in which there are strains being put on these portions of the system - that if there were to be a breaking of cells in the lungs it might soon become very distressing

or disturbing to the body.

9. In the effects produced upon the nervous system - these make for that so easily tiring of the body, and the periods very often when there are acute pains - though they may not last for long - appearing in different parts of the body.

10. All of these are the drains being put upon the general vitality for the lack of proper oxidization of the blood stream, for the lack of proper circulation of same through the lung, owing to those disturbances that - while latent - are disturbing the body-forces themselves.

11. Then, in making administrations for this body that would be most beneficial:

12. To a gallon or gallon and a half keg (preferably a charred oak keg) put at least half a gallon of Pure Apple Brandy. Arrange so that this may have two vents in one end of same, that may be kept corked tightly when not used; one made not so large, the other only prepared so that the fumes may be inhaled - not the Brandy itself but the disintegration of the fumes that rise in the vacant portion that is left in the keg by evaporation. Inhale these fumes into the lungs at least twice each day, of morning upon arising and of evening before retiring. Do not inhale too much at first, but two or three good inhalations.

13. Keep this up for quite a period. Do not leave this off until there has been a great change in the strength and vitality, and the ability for the body to put on some weight. For, this loss of weight also is part of the general debilitation.

14. Do take internally once each day a one-grain Calcidin tablet, that there may be supplied more of calcium and iodine to the body; one to strengthen the circulation, the other to purify the glandular forces themselves.

15. Do keep the eliminations well. For this body, use only the vegetable laxatives - either in the diet or in an assistance through the combinations of fig syrup, or the Castoria, or Senna Tea, or alter these from time to time to increase the eliminations through alimentary canal without causing a strain on the body. Take such as these, either of these, for periods of several days at a time; not so much at once, but broken doses, and keep it up for five to six days, leave it off then for the same length of time, and then take again.

16. Do this.

17. And then with the diets and the exercise and the general attitude mentally:

18. In the diet, do take those foods that are body building. This may be indicated as an outline, though this is not ALL

2959-1 Page 3

the body would take - but let this be a portion of a daily diet:

19. Mornings - either oatmeal or whole grain cereal, with a coddled egg and toast and milk, or coffee.

20. DO drink malted milk twice each day, and with an egg in same. Let this be rather between meals, if at all possible.

21. Also for breakfast, there may be taken citrus fruit - though not at the same meal when the cereals are taken - with bacon and egg, and brown toast.

22. Do not eat white bread nor much of white potatoes.

23. DO eat fish, fowl and lamb. DO NOT eat hog meat, other than the crisp breakfast bacon.

24. Do have, at least three to four times each week, a raw vegetable salad; as with lettuce, celery, tomatoes, radish, spinach, mustard or the like. This may be taken with an oil salad dressing or mayonnaise.

25. In the evenings DO have vegetable juices - these as in soups or in broths; altered, or alternated, of course.

26. And keep in the open some time each day, whenever the sun shines.

27. The activities: Do not be out in too much night air, at any time; but when the sun is shining, be out as much as practical.

28. Do keep that mental attitude of being not only good but good for something. Have a definite goal as a contribution not only to the pleasure of self but for someone else, or for several others, sometime each day. Think of others, for in the helping of others you will help yourself.

29. Do walk some each morning, in the early morning air.

30. Do these and we will find we will build back to resistances.

31. Do not FEAR disturbances. But do build creatively in mind, in body.

32. Ready for questions.

33. (Q) Do I have an organic heart trouble? (A) Weakened from the disturbance in the lung, liver, heart and kidney circulation. It is a quick pulse, NOT a heart disorder - merely functional.

34. (Q) Is any of the trouble being caused by my digestive system? (A) Rather the trouble in the digestive system is caused by the superacidity from the lack of proper eliminations, and the toxic forces that are not purified by circulation through the lungs.

35. (Q) Would it be injurious to take any kind of exercise such as badminton, tennis, etc.? (A) Badminton would be better than tennis, but this is rather severe exercise; take it mildly, not too strenuously,

2959-1 Page 4

and it is good - for it keeps the body in the open. But do play it in the open.

36. (Q) What exercise is best for me? (A) As given, walking is the best exercise. Any, of course, that tends to make the body raise the arms above the head is a good exercise for the body - but do not do this too strenuously. Do these things and we will bring better conditions for this body, [2959].

37. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See drawing [which was enclosed] to illustrate type of preparation for inhaling fumes from Apple Brandy. Hildick's Apple Brandy is the purest on the market. DO NOT USE APPLE JACK!) !)
