1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2972].
3. As we find, there are conditions which disturb the better physical functioning of the body. These vary as to the intensity of the aggravation to the body, owing to the activities, the diet, the manner in which the eliminations are active. Cold and congestion also, at times, form a part of the disturbance.
4. In times back, we find, some influences have been wrought from the outside that caused in the coccyx area, and through the pelvic bone itself, an unbalancing of the pelvic bone.
5. Hence it will be found that one limb is somewhat shorter than the other. This produces a lameness, often; and at other periods not so much, though brings about - when there are any aggravations in the body - disturbances that are excessive, and aggravating to the body.
6. As we find, in the main in other directions, so long as there is kept the vital energies, the vitality built up, the body responds very well.
7. But, to make better conditions for this body:
8. We would have the hydrotherapy treatments, of the character to include first a very mild vapor bath - with witchhazel; then the thorough rubdown, but gently given, making some corrections - not making them all at once, but gradually, through the pelvis and especially in the lumbar axis, AND the coccyx area.
9. When these corrections are being made, massage all of these areas with Peanut Oil. There should be included with this a massage to the rest of the body also, finishing with the alcohol to prevent too much of an opening of the superficial circulation, or the skin.

10. After the massage, when the body is resting, do give the Ultra-Violet Light, with the green glass shade in same. This should be taken for ten to fifteen minutes, with the ultra-violet light sufficiently far from the body.
11. After one meal each day, and whichever is the heaviest meal - whether morning, noon or night, we would take internally a quarter teaspoonful of Milk of Bismuth with five drops of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin, in a full glass of water.
12. We would add the Vitamin B to the diet; preferably by taking the B-1 Complex tablets, or the One A Day brand B-Complex.
13. Exercise a little whenever there is sunshine and warm weather, or warm enough for the body.
14. In the diet - not too much of starches; not too much of sweets. Honey may be taken as a sweet. Rice cakes, buckwheat cakes - these with a little honey occasionally, - and breakfast bacon, very crisp - would be well. Beware of other types of meat, save sea food.
15. Plenty of leafy vegetables, and especially celery. Take celery rather often.
16. Do these, as we find, and we will make better conditions for this body.
17. Ready for questions.
18. (Q) Was the injury to the coccyx the original cause of my condition? (A) It was the original cause.
19. (Q) Will I be able to move about comfortably again, especially so that I may exercise and walk? (A) Will be able to move about more comfortably.
20. (Q) May all of these treatments be given at Reilly's? (A) As just indicated, it must be through the hydrotherapist.
21. (Q) Does this affect the heart? (A) Naturally, these conditions affect the heart indirectly. That's why it is indicated that there be a very light fume bath, and not dry heat cabinet sweat.
22. (Q) Can I do anything about varicose veins? (A) This treatment indicated will materially aid. The main cause of the trouble should be cleared first, and then we would give further suggestions as to the varicose veins when the system has been cleared a good deal, see? for these will require other applications entirely.
23. (Q) What is the cause of the attacks of extreme nausea and vomiting? (A) The reflexes from pressures in the lumbar, and especially in the coccyx area.

24. (Q) For my tiring so quickly? (A) Lack of vital energies, and thus the needs of Vitamin B in the assimilations of the body. Do these things, and we will make better conditions for the body.
