Time of Reading 3:40 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Mass.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [2976].
3. In giving an interpretation of disturbances in the physical forces of this body, to be the more beneficial to the body it would be well to consider disturbances with the attitude of the mind of the individual entity.
4. To be sure, there are pathological disturbances here. There are also psychological reactions.
5. When there were the greater distresses, much of that which arose at the time was of a psychological nature - or the result of fear. Not merely, in this instance, fear of the results of the physical effects in the body, but the fear of the results of such a change for self, as well as the physical fear of those in many ways associated with the entity's activities.
6. Thus, in considering how there may be the greater benefits than are gradually being builded in resistances built up in the body, we find that the results of attitudes upon pathological conditions, as well as the effects of radiation, the effects of water, the effects of air and of fire, will have much to do with the varied conditions that exist.
7. Through a general strain that has been produced, and the result of stresses produced in the physical appetite, and the manner in which and of which there is the supplying to the body of physical needs - as a result of this fear - a plethoric condition is produced in the colon of the body.
8. This first set up a form of anemia.
9. The result of this in the body - through the activities of the heart, the liver, the kidneys, there is produced an unbalance. And there became a shortcircuiting in the
2976-1 Page 2
circulation between lungs, liver and heart; and a bad, or abnormal, metabolism was set up.
10. While it produced an engorgement, rather than a plethoric condition through the thrombose area, it did not reach those stages as to so distort that circulation as to overcharge or produce excessive reactions in the muscular forces there; that is, in the thrombose area.
11. Thus, we have a tendency that is gradually being reduced. This, however, has NOT altered to any great extent this disturbance in the ascending and transverse colon.
12. The attitude of the entity, and those dependencies upon creating sufficient numbers of the energized cells - not only in the circulation itself but in the activities of the glandular forces, through the process of the mental relationships of control over the nerve plexus of the body, - aided the most; yea, much more than any administration of medicines, and the activity of water with the body subsided - the fires of the body, and the energies in the radiation from same - has been beneficial.
13. But as we find in the present (this for the pathological condition) - we would have at least eight to ten colonic irrigations; not so close together as to disturb the mucous membranes of the colon itself but sufficient to remove the tendencies for accumulation of mucous through those areas or pockets in that particular area of the colon close to caecum. This, as it is reduced, will allow for those activities of the mental processes, and the creative energies of the body-force itself, to bring a much nearer normal reaction in the heart's activity.
14. Thus, as we find, we have no organic heart ailment. We do not have broken tissue in the lung itself.
15. We DO have a slowed circulation through the lower portion of the abdomen and through the limbs. And thus when there is an overactivity of the body, overexertion, the shortness of breath, there is that fullness in or just below or at the pit of the stomach. And the shortness of breath excites ALL of the nerve centers that control the equilibrium of the body.
16. In giving the colonics for the body, these it would be well to follow with not so much an adjustment in the cerebrospinal system, but rather a Swedish massage - not only the trunk portion of the body and gently over the abdomen and the liver area, but all along the whole length of the spine. This massage, especially if it is given with an oil, will be beneficial in keeping better coordination between superficial and cerebrospinal system, in the centers or areas where there are the closer connections with the
2976-1 Page 3
sensory system and the cerebrospinal system; and it will aid in giving quiet, in giving more assurance to the body as to its future activities.
17. Then the mental attitudes through these times, and as associated with the physical activities and the diets of the body:
18. The better foods and the better activities are ever those that supply sufficient for physical needs - as to exercise as well as for the physical energies of the body-force itself.
19. This, then, eliminates in a great part any of flesh as a part of the diet; save fish or fowl, in not too great a quantity - and never the fats - especially the fat of the fowl, or any animal fat; though shortening as may be used in bread or pastries is alright provided not used excessively in the diet.
20. Never use any save the brown or black bread, nor too much of starches - as spaghetti or white bread or white potatoes. Take these very seldom.
21. But have plenty of fruits, vegetables, vegetable juices, vegetable broths, with not too much fat save merely the seasoning.
22. And nuts, especially almonds, should be a main part of the diet.
23. Walk, in the open and in the sunshine, whenever practical; this is the better exercise, other than the daily habits of the body.
24. Adhere to these, and - as we find - we will not only bring bettered conditions but the mental and spiritual outlook practised - knowing, as may be said daily, at least three times each day (though continuing instant in prayer, but morning, noon and evening, subscribe - spiritually, mentally, bodily - to this):
25. FATHER, GOD! LET THY SPIRIT BE MY GUIDE, CONTINUOUSLY. THY WILL BE DONE IN AND THROUGH ME.
26. Not merely say this, but live it; not in a boastful manner, but humbly preferring others before self. Not in an excessive manner, but in that way of being all things to all, that ye may find thyself, know thyself to be in accord with His divine plan, "Thou shalt have no other gods before the ONE God," and loving thy neighbor as thyself.
27. Ready for questions.
28. (Q) What causes the unregularity of the water, which often becomes obstructed? (A) As indicated, pressures in the circulation which, as indicated, becomes disturbed through pressures in the colon, hinders the activities through the body. The irrigations,
2976-1 Page 4
the massage, and the diet should gradually relieve these pressures, and the anxieties as created in the functioning of the organs through same. Do as given and we will bring better conditions for the body.
29. (Q) How often should the colonics be given - how close, rather? (A) The first three of four may be ten days apart, or thereabout. The massage should be almost weekly, anyway.
30. (Q) What causes the headache, tiredness and backache? (A) All of these effects are the result of these conditions in the body as described. Do that given, and we will make for better conditions in this body.
31. We are through for the present. Two copies to Self (one for the physiotherapist who gives the colonics and massage - We would suggest that you ask Dr. H. J. Reilly, R.C.A. Bldg., 1250 Sixth Ave., NYC, to suggest a good physiotherapist in your city to follow these treatments as suggested. Please let us have the name and address of the one you choose.) Copy to Ass'n file (4/20/43 GD's note: At your convenience please let us have a history of your case to the time of obtaining the Reading, so we may have something with which to compare our information.) ion.)
