1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life, also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '42 - changes - '37 - disturbing forces - '96 - not so well - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. Yes, we are given the records here of that entity now known as or called [2984].
4. Unusual volume!
5. In giving an interpretation of the records here, as we find, while much of this may be - for the moment - at variance to the ideals or ideas of the entity, we find that if there is the application of self in these directions the entity would find a much more interesting life.
6. In choosing from the records here, these we would give with the intent and purpose that this be a helpful influence in the experience of this entity; enabling the entity to better fulfillthose purposes for which it entered this present sojourn.
7. True, we would magnify the virtues and minimize the faults. That, too, should be the policy as well as the ideal of the entity, especially in dealing with young people. For, the entity's real forte in this experience would be in directing, in teaching the young; especially those in the early teen age years - boys, especially.
8. In interpreting the records, those urges latent and manifested are a combination of the applications made by the
2984-1 Page 2
entity in its appearances in the earth; as well as those influences in the realm of the cosmos, or those interims between the material sojourns. For, these - the interims - have at times been long, and at other times very short.
9. Hence we find these as what is called astrological influence, though not from that phase of same ordinarily understood by astrology. For the entity, as an entity, is a part of the universal consciousness, and thus in and from the realms of the earth or three-dimensional consciousness there are relationships borne to the universal consciousness through the awareness there.
10. Thus Mercury - in which we find the high mental abilities, the great amount of detail to which the entity often goes. And this applies not only to things but to the awarenesses in the human or physical consciousness. Thus one of those urges where the application of such principles would influence young men's lives.
11. In Venus we find the love of home, the love of the beautiful - those abilities in the economic sciences, and those activities in same that apply to the liberal arts as well as to the spiritual awakening.
12. We find in Jupiter the universal consciousness. Thus the manners in which the entity treats subjects as a whole, as well as its interest in the history of races, of groups, of families, of individuals. Hence the psychological reactions, and psychology itself, are a part of the entity's awareness.
13. Saturn has brought changes, as it will again in forty-four ('44), as indicated - a change in relationships.
14. As to the appearances in the earth - we find these quite varied in activity. And the periods of long sojourns in outer consciousness, or multiple consciousnesses rather than the three-dimensions, make for rather the serious nature - or the inclination to take many things too seriously.
15. Cultivate the ability to see the ridiculous, and to retain the ability to laugh. For, know - only in those that God hath favored is there the ability to laugh, even when clouds of doubt arise, or when every form of disturbance arises. For, remember, the Master smiled - and laughed, oft - even on the way to Gethsemane.
16. Before this the entity was in the land of the present sojourn when there were the early settlings; especially among those under the directions of one Sir Walter Raleigh did the entity journey forth - as a friend of that entity, yet as one in service of the ruler then of the land.
17. Then in the name James Cassell, the entity gained much
2984-1 Page 3
in the application of self to the trials and the pleasures of the sea.
18. And these - as sea voyages - have an intense interest for the entity; but rather as something to be warned concerning, and of real preparations made before such undertakings.
19. Also the interest in people, and those things that cause them to react to conditions in their relationships one to another, arise from that sojourn.
20. The entity kept the accounts of that expedition. Questions were raised, as will be found among the records of those periods of the associate's activities.
21. And yet all of these bring their influence and their urges in the present experience of the entity.
22. Before that the entity was in the Roman land, during those periods when there were the great expansions in those activities having to do with other lands coming under the direction of Rome - in portions of North Africa, the Holy land, Greece, were the activities of the entity; as one who kept the records of those individuals who acted in the capacity of representatives of the Roman land.
23. Thus the entity's double interest in history, geography, as well as the abilities of people of certain groups - under varied circumstances - to contribute to the welfare of a universal consciousness spiritually, as well as the material welfare of groups or individuals.
24. Also from that period we find the entity's special interest in the young peoples of varied lands, and the effect wrought on same under those directions of various groups set as the rulers, the educators, the teachers, in those various lands.
25. The name then was Selden. In the experience the entity contributed much, not only to the welfare of those with whom the entity worked - and not worked FOR, but WITH - but made a contribution to the history of various groups and peoples through those activities. For the entity journeyed oft, and remained for definite periods, in many of those lands. And these have a particular interest for the entity in the present.
26. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, when there were those reestablishings of the activities of the Priest; when there were the ingatherings of those necessary funds, as well as the peoples, for the preparation of the programs of the Priest and the King with his council; as well as the sending of various groups from the Atlantean land, and the Natives that had been in rebellion.
27. And the entity chose rather the training of the young,
2984-1 Page 4
in their activities in preparation for setting about for vocational guidance through those varied periods.
28. Thus we find the entity particularly, peculiarly, adaptable not only to facts and figures but to the minds of the young, especially in those formative years as indicated - by counsel and direction - as in boys' clubs or groups, or in reading, speaking, and in all forms of activity; not merely as entertainment but as education; not as a teacher but as a director in such.
29. Thus may the entity in the application of its abilities find an outlet that will bring harmony and peace within the own experience.
30. Then in the name Ar-Set-Ra, the entity in that activity excelled the more; keeping the balance between the varied groups that represented a problem in that period of activity.
31. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how:
32. First, analyze self. Study self and that which motivates self in its dealings with its fellow man.
33. Study that which is the prompting for thy activities; not merely from the material angle, but as to why there is this or that urge; and know that same is in keeping with that which is the ideal. For, each soul, each entity, latently or manifestedly, has his ideal - spiritually, mentally and materially. Coordinate these, and know in what ye believe - also who is the author of same; and that the author may be that One to whom ye may trust thy soul, thy body, thy mind.
34. In this way and manner ye will find harmony.
35. But do keep that ability to see the FUN in life also.
36. In the application of self - interest self in young people; their clubs, their problems - whether begun as an individual it is all the better, but expend self in a service to the young. For, here is the hope of the world.
37. Ready for questions.
38. (Q) What is my mission in life? (A) As has been indicated.
39. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file 'n file
