Born April 12, 1908, in Chicago, Ill. Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Illinois.
1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '42 - '40 - changes in the attitudes - '39 and '38 disturbing forces - '36 - very pretty girl - kind of thin - " etc., on back to birth date.)
3. We have the entity and those records here, that have been made upon the skein of time and space. And, interpreting them, we would choose from same that which we find, in the whole, may be helpful if there is the application of the suggestions made for the correcting of urges latent and manifested in the personality of the present entity.
4. It would be well, with this entity, first - even in the study or the analysis of that as may be given here - to determine in self the relationship that exists - IN SELF; not judging someone else, but in thine own personality and individuality.
5. The individuality is that with which ye live yourself, your inner self. And this is deep, far-reaching.
6. There are a great many abilities in the mind of this entity, and yet the outward appearance is very oft, or its personality in the appearance (while in neatness; and it should wear, usually, that which is tailored; very few frills and fluffs) often gives the impressions of rather analyzing others.
7. It is well to analyze others, if it is for the betterment of the individual and not of self. For, it is better to be
2995-1 Page 2
right in self than to be thought of highly by others.
8. In giving the interpretations, while we would choose that tending towards the magnifying of virtues and the minimizing of faults, this ye should also do with thyself.
9. As ye have often experienced, ye are impatient - and after you have slept on any proposition, or a suggestion oft, you don't think the same as you did the evening before. And this has at times caused some disturbance. Ye are too impatient, with others and with thyself.
10. Know that in patience ye become aware of thy soul. And thy body and thy mind, and thy soul, are one. They live together.
11. Your personality, then, is the material expression; and your individuality is the personality of the soul.
12. In giving the interpretations we find those influences as might be termed by some astrological, though from here we view them rather as experiences of the entity's consciousness through that realm. To give it metes and bounds we call it the names indicated by astrological aspects - Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Neptune and Uranus; with Saturn in between.
13. Thus we find these as characteristics, in the manner in which the entity reasons. And know, while ye are in a causation world, or a three-dimensional world, and while mind, matter and circumstance and environs have their effect, these - as indicated in the entity itself - are, or can be, easily put aside.
14. For, nothing in heaven or hell may separate thee from the love of God, as is manifested in thy being, save thyself.
15. Then, urges that are indicated are only tendencies, inclinations. They can be met, they MUST be met, if the entity would attain to that consciousness, to that awareness that it seeks in knowing its relationships, its power, its might, its abilities, in controlling circumstance and environ.
16. Mercury indicates the high mental abilities, while Venus - rather than the beautiful - pleasure-loving; and yet more oft afraid of same.
17. Jupiter gives the universal consciousness, the universality of the mind, the interest in so many varied things.
18. Though the entity is tied to routine in its labors and in its environs, and in its activities, it has the desire to KNOW things, the WHY and the WHEREFORE not only of individuals but groups, masses, nations and peoples.
19. Thus we have a continual warring within the mental self.
2995-1 Page 3
And, as indicated, there is a high mental ability.
20. Then the ideal or the purpose must to the entity become the law. Remember, law is love, love is law, love is God, love is manifested in material things, in personal things, in individual things; yet there are ideals to which the entity would attain.
21. These must be accomplished in self; by rule, yes - but know that mercy and truth and justice and love are the gift of the divine. And you may only attain the knowledge of such by BEING such, manifesting such, in thy daily walks of life - in thy associations one with another. Choosing ideal, yes - spiritually, mentally, materially it must be founded in spirit, to have in same the ability to be creative or a growing, living thing in thy experience.
22. In judgment, as in mental self, it must be exacting, but no more exacting of others than of self, and no more exacting of self than of others. For, know, with what measure ye mete to others ye are measuring to thy Maker, God. Know that all the creative force ye may become aware of is within thine own self. For, as thy body is indeed the temple of the living God, there He has promised to meet thee.
23. And, as has been given by the law-giver of old, think not who will descend from heaven to bring you a message; for, Lo, it is already in thine own heart. It is thyself, thy inner self, thy soul self. Think not who will come from over the waters, nor over the seas to bring a message, for it is with thee already.
24. To be sure, these may be encouraged, abetted, kept in line; but it is within self that this must be accomplished.
25. Then if it is used to that of self-indulgence, self-gratification, self-attaining for that of self alone, it becomes sin - even as the sin of Saul.
26. As to the appearances in the earth - these are not all given, but those that may indicate the expressions manifesting through the emotions of the body. And, as indicated, this is an emotional body; yet often called cold and calculating. For it thinks within self.
27. Do not think in self as to how ye may take advantage of someone else, or how ye may attain fame or glory. For these are thine own already. For if God be with thee, who can be against thee?
28. Art thou with Him? This ye ask and may ask and find within self. For, as He has given, "If ye call I will hear." And He has promised to meet thee within thine inner self.
29. Then in prayer, in meditation, in longing, in hoping, -
2995-1 Page 4
but in doing the things and being the things in thine inner self ye hope for and long for - these are the manners and the ways of approach, and of overcoming those tendencies which arise in the emotions.
30. Not as one to be long-faced. For, the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof - in JOY! Do not see the dark side too oft. Turn it over - there's another side to every question. Cultivate in self humor, wit. Ye enjoy it in others, others enjoy it in thee. But too oft it becomes to thee foolishness. KNOW that thy Lord, thy God, LAUGHED - even at the Cross. For He wept with those who wept, and rejoiced with those who rejoiced.
31. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during those periods especially when there were the uprisings in the land; when there were the destructive forces and many of those were driven from then Fort Dearborn.
32. The entity was among those who did not escape, but became companion with and a laborer for a mixed people of French and Indian. Hence we find the entity has great aversions to peoples, without knowing why - a fear of some conditions as might arise in relationships. These are parts of the experience.
33. But throughout that sojourn the entity learned much, especially from the medicine men with whom the entity later became associated.
34. In the early portion the entity was known as Carol Waynne; and in the experience in which it advanced was known as "Laughing Water."
35. Hence in the present the entity even by a smile or a frown may make a whole day glad or bitter for those about her. Hence it is well to cultivate patience and humor. Remember, man alone in God's creation is given the ability to laugh, the ability to make those relationships personal between one another, to make them creative and individual - by choice.
36. Before that the entity was in the Norse land, during those periods when there was the overrunning of the Hun or German land, when those activities brought about the peopling of the land.
37. The entity then was a man; in body, in purpose AND IN ACTIVITY; one to be feared! In the experience the entity led its own groups.
38. Thus in the present the entity has the ability to attract groups, individuals. Whenever the entity sets out to get a thing, or to attain a closer relationship to another individual, the individual or thing is already lost
2995-1 Page 5
so far as the entity is concerned - if the entity chooses to do so - through that very influence or force of MIND to which the entity attained in those activities as the warrior - then in the name Heldaoslem. The entity materially gained, and yet is still fighting self in the lack of patience. It has the persistence, but learn indeed what is the difference between patience and persistence. There's almost as much as there is between personality and individuality.
39. Before that the entity was in the Persian and Arabian land, when there were those groups of individuals gathering in the "city in the hills and plains."
40. The entity was among the students of the Indian land who came to the "city in the hills," though the entity then was a princess of no mean estate - in the material things as well as in abilities. For, the entity sought to be the soothsayer the healer, the applier of material as well as spiritual and mental gifts for the aid of others.
41. This, too, is worthy of consideration.
42. In the experience then the entity gained, and in the application of self in the "city in the hills" the entity gained sufficiently to become as a teacher in its own land; known then as Nedah Emen-Emene.
43. The entity gained much in that experience. While it is well to apply those tenets and truths in the present, know that they are more easily interpreted in the Man in Galilee.
44. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, when there were those activities that brought about the banishment of the Priest for nine years.
45. The entity then was among the Libyan peoples that became acquainted with, and followed the Priest back to the activity in Egypt; when there was the restoration of those activities and the unified efforts by those groups that had been warring.
46. Then the entity was in the name Zemzoda.
47. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain, and how:
48. It is latent within self, as indicated, through its activities in the earth, to apply self in such a way and manner as to become - or to attain to the desire of the heart, if it is in keeping with that He would have thee do.
49. What, then, is thy desire?
50. Let it be first in the Lord.
51. Daily - yea, three times each day - repeat to self this, then LIVE it!
52. "LORD, WHAT WOULD THOU HAVE ME DO?"
53. Put that in thine heart. Let it be manifested in thy
2995-1 Page 6
dealings with others, in thy labor as the secretary, in thy activities in thy home, in thy meeting with thy friends in ANY phase of thine experience.
54. And ye will find the abilities to write, the abilities to make speeches that are unusual before other groups; that will become the channel through which ye may make a contribution to the world being a better place for thou having lived in same.
55. Ready for questions.
56. (Q) Can suggestions be given to aid me in my study of, and interest in, telepathy? (A) Learn that as indicated. First find thyself, thy abilities; meditate. But rather, "LORD, WHAT WOULD THOU HAVE ME DO?" THAT do! and BE!
57. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file n file
