Time of Reading 10:55 to 11:10 A. M. Eastern War Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions; also suggestions for help and relief of this body, answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [3017].

3. As we find, there are many conditions to be taken into consideration in giving that which may be a helpful influence for this body.

4. There are pathological disturbances, psychological effects, and there are those varied reactions that may be part of the experience in application for helpful benefits.

5. The reaction is apparent in the manner in which the fluid in the eye causes the dilation of the pupil. This is the definite disturbance in the present.

6. But the whole of the general physical health, the age, and the reactions are a part of the experience also.

7. The applications that would be beneficial must constitute, then, that which may build up the general health of the body, and that which will react specifically (from the anatomical standpoint) to the optic nerve from those centers in the spinal system, from which the body-forces receive the replenishing and rebuilding activities through the circulation. We refer not only to the central circulation but to the superficial, or the sympathetic, or the mucous membrane activities; as to the radiation, as to the absorption, as to the use of same.

8. In these manners, then, we find that a stimulation to those areas from which these portions of the body receive their impulse - the optic nerve, the eye socket itself - will allay the disturbance and may check same, if there is due consideration given as to how much the body uses the eyes in the present.

9. We would be mindful also that certain diets contribute their part, so that what is assimilated by the body through

the blood force and to the nerve energy that is supplied, carries from certain characters of food those elements that work with the body forces.

10. As we find, kidneys - to be sure - are partially involved, or rather would it be said that the glands that lie just above the kidneys are involved in the general condition.

11. Then:

12. At that area just above the kidneys, and at the 2nd and 3rd dorsal, we would apply a stimuli in the form of Glyco-Thymoline packs - this for about an hour each day. Use three to four thicknesses of cotton cloth well saturated in the Glyco-Thymoline. The oils in this will stimulate the body activities there, so that the application of the low electrical forces - as may be had from the electrical vibrations for the body from the low Wet Cell Appliance, will be more effective.

13. For, with the Wet Cell Appliance we would use a mild solution of Gold; that there may be this stimuli vibratorially taken to the body as to aid nerve plasm, blood energies, and the activities of the external applications.

14. Make the charging solution of the Wet Cell Appliance rather strong. Use at least two pounds of the Copper Sulfate to a gallon and a half of distilled water.

15. Use at least two poles for the solution, one nickel and one copper.

16. In the chemicals, use six drams of Zinc and one and one-half ounces of Sulfuric Acid C.P.

17. The Gold Solution is to pass through the nickel pole, in the proportions of one grain Chloride of Gold to one ounce of distilled water. The nickel plate, through which this solution passes vibratorially, would be attached to the body over the umbilical and lacteal duct center, or - on this body - the hand's breadth and one finger to the right from the navel center, and one finger up. There the larger nickel plate would be attached.

18. The small copper plate would be attached to the copper pole, and attached to the body at the 3rd, 4th - or between the 3rd and 4th cervical.

19. Make these attachments for thirty minutes each day.

20. At least half an hour before the Wet Cell Appliance is attached, apply the Glyco-Thymoline packs - or an hour before would be preferable.

21. Immediately following the use of the Appliance, massage with peanut oil the area along the spine, both that above the kidney AND in the upper dorsal; so that all will work together.

22. In the diet - do include beets and beet tops often, also carrots, two to three times a week. The carrots may be taken raw or cooked, or alter them.

23. Do these for the better conditions for this body, [3017].

24. Ready for questions.

25. (Q) Should the present treatment for the eye be continued? (A) Try these suggestions we have made here, for at least six weeks. Then if there isn't an improvement, go back to the old treatment.

26. We are through with this reading.
