Time of Reading 11:40 to 12:00 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., New York.
1. GC: You will have before you the entities [3051] and [3436], born January 15, 1898, in Paterson, New Jersey, and [3436] born July 1, 1898 in New York City; and the information they seek in a joint Reading, considering that given for [3051] in her Life Reading, June 17, 1943, and that which they have to work out individually or together, in the immediate future or in this experience. You will answer the questions they have submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the entities here, [3051] and [3436].
3. In considering the activities, the relationships - it would be better if a parallel were drawn of the whole experience of each. But those appearances may be indicated from here, where their associations caused those attractions, as well as the karma between the two. Yet there are others, as may be seen, that have to do with relationships in other activities; the vocational activities.
4. For as we find, because of the relationships that the entity [3436] bore to activities in Egypt as well as in the Holy Land, those fields of service and activity in the present would be related to the assurance or insurance and real estate, the handling of properties of others, rental agencies and the like. In such fields of activity might make greater successes.
5. The eastern coast of the United States in tidewater area will be much preferable for the body than other sections of the land, as may be seen from the activities of the entity in an experience; not associated then with the entity [3051] but in and through which each may make a contribution to activities of a community and bring about better conditions between themselves and their activities.
6. As to relationships in Egypt, we find that these had to do with homes and the assurance - or what might be termed the problems of caring for the injured, the ill, where

premature or accidental death occurred. Thus the associations in the relationships that would bring activities for the entity in contributing to the material, social and spiritual relationships of a helpful nature.
7. As to the associations and the activities of the entities in the Holy Land - there we find the entity [3436] supervising tax gatherings. Thus the dealings in the present with commodities, and in such relationships the entity may make a material success - but bring many a discouraging period into the experience.
8. The activities in each of these were closely related, and only in Egypt were they in the capacity existing in the present.
9. Ready for questions.
10. (Q) What can be done for greater harmony between us? (A) Let each be of one purpose; not necessarily thinking the same on questions, but their ideals and purposes. Let each think of the other and not of self alone. Know that the relationships in the present should be ever as much for the other as for self.
11. (Q) Was [3436]'s divorce from his first wife karma? (A) We haven't any divorce.
12. (Q) What lesson for either of us to learn so not to bring condition back into another experience? (A) This should come with [3436] not for [3051].
13. (Q) What can [3051] do to overcome her husband's lack of generosity to her financially? (A) Let [3051] be just as generous to the husband as she expects the husband to be to her, and these will be more in accord and will bring greater harmony in the relationships throughout the experience. These each have ideals. Make them coordinate with the material, the mental and the spiritual lives of each. Know that it must begin in the spiritual. Then material results will be brought into the experience as the mind is controlled towards those ideals set by each as to the spirit with which they will control and act in relationships one to another.
14. (Q) To what extent will inflation affect [3436]'s business, advise if wise to change to another business, if so what business? (A) As indicated, insurance and real estate.
15. (Q) How successful would the land investment in Staten Island - [3436] has in mind be? (A) Not a very successful venture. There are too many disturbances soon to arise, especially relating to some of the holdings.
16. (Q) Which pieces of property would be the best
3051-4 Page 3
investment for such a project? (A) Wherever he would choose for his activities. Do not have these in one area and the activities of self in another.
17. (Q) If [3051] adopted some children would it be a blessing to both [3436] and the children, considering her physical condition? (A) This had best be determined in selves. If that is the desire of each, let them be wholly in agreement. And where there is agreement, there may be harmony. And if harmony, then it would be for the better welfare of all concerned. Remember, there are those responsibilities as well as possibilities that arise with the desire for adoption. For, in many instances, and it might be found here, unless this is prompted by a spiritual desire on the part of each, it is better not to attempt such. If it is prompted by the spiritual, then the mental and material relationships will take care of themselves. And these are well, if prompted by the spiritual desire of each - and they are in accord. Without such, be mindful.
18. (Q) What is the meaning of [3051]'s seal and has [3436] one? (A) We haven't this in combination. We haven't a seal for [3436]. These are not much in men's experiences. For, while the woman is ordinarily changeable in mind, the real desire and purpose remains truer in woman than in man. Thus the seal of life is as to the abilities and activities for which woman was created in the beginning - as the companionship and as the mother of souls in expression in a physical sense, and the training of same. Thus the ideal is set by a seal of life.
19. (Q) Would [3436] be successful in the Over Counter business anywhere? (A) This is too confining a condition for [3436].
20. (Q) Why are we together in this life and how can we accomplish this mission? (A) By each being true to themselves. Ye are together because of those attractions one for the other through relationships borne in other activities. And these, as indicated, being true to the ideal and keeping self as one, they make for those activities of the earth, and those portions in which they reside, being better for their living therein. This is the purpose of each group or each person in the earth. We are to subdue the environs. We are to turn same to helpful forces for those to come.
21. We are through with reading.
