1. GC: You will answer the questions regarding this body as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes - the body MUST keep away from sweets! While there have been improvements in this body in some directions, there are other conditions not so good - as indicated in the present.
3. We would in the present first stimulate the body to set up better drainages in the system. As these properties have been given, these we find do not mix with some of the diets taken.
4. Hence we would cleanse the system by taking Caldwell's Syrup of Pepsin, which also has a senna base. Take this in broken doses; a teaspoonful every three hours until good eliminations begin. Then take a saline or mineral laxative, sufficient to flush the system.
5. Then begin with an inhalant. This may be burned in a croup cup, or it may be poured in boiling water and the fumes inhaled. In a croup cup, put a half teaspoonful of Oil of Eucalyptus and a half teaspoonful of Compound tincture of Benzoin - to the boiling water in the croup cup. If a pan of boiling water is used, then put ten drops of each of these and use a sheet or covering over the head so as to be able to inhale the fumes that rise from these properties.
6. These will relax the body from those spasmodic reactions in bronchi and throat.
7. There should be better corrections made in the upper dorsals. These have not been made properly.
8. Ready for questions.
9. (Q) Is the body responding as she should, or as expected from the treatments outlined (in rdg. last June)? (A) Well, you'll have to do them properly all around, if she would respond the better. There has been some response but not all that there should be.

10. (Q) Why is she now having such severe attacks of asthma? (A) The diet! Keep away from those things that are sweet, or those combinations causing acid in the stomach itself.
11. (Q) What should be done to help her in these attacks? (A) As just given.
12. (Q) Will it be of help to use the vaporizer? (A) The inhalant will do the same thing as the vaporizer. It can be used in the same way and manner.
13. (Q) A change of altitude has been recommended? Would Lynchburg, Va., be high enough, or would you advise another place? (A) Lynchburg, Va., would be some help, but it should be at least three to four hundred feet higher. Around Asheville would be better, if it stays in this condition or climate.
14. (Q) Any further advice? (A) Do these things as indicated.
15. We are through with this reading. Two copies to Mother (one for the Osteopath) Copy to Ass'n file
