1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [3053].

3. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them, these will require of the entity a thorough analysis in self. First of all, do not become impatient with self. This is not intended to imply that the entity should become self-centered or a "know it all". For, be sure that throughout this experience everybody will look at you and call you different. Then, just be different. But be sure first that you are right in your spiritual interpretation of life, its purpose, its relationship to mind, its relationship to materiality.

4. For the variations that exist in thought of the world today are not what is meant to be attained but in what is needed to be changed in the lives of others.

5. Many stress spirituality when the mind is used as the measuring stick. Many stress physical manifestation when mind is used as the measuring stick. Many interpret spiritual things and attempt to use physical activity as the measuring stick. Many attempt to interpret spiritual things, using the mind as the measuring stick. But each phase of thine own experience should be interpreted in its proper sphere of activity, so that when ye interpret thy

3053-3 Page 2

music, thy love, thy friendships, thy associations, thy activities with others, it will be in the proper sphere according to thy whole purpose in the earth - to glorify thy Maker; if there would be the full interpretation of "The Lord thy God is one" and "Thou shalt love thy brother as thyself." O that men would find, there is nothing mentioned here about the physical or the mind, but the spiritual attitude one takes in self respecting such!

6. For the entity, let's begin with harmony about things - and these interpretations will come. For the entity there should be a chart by which to measure self.

7. This, then, should be drawn as a seal:

8. Upon a background of gray white, put in colors, a wreath of holly with a great many of the berries on same; near to their natural color. A ribbon should be at the bottom, in white and blue.

9. In the center - that is, the space in the center of this wreath - put the Cross, of gold. This should be rather heavy, and by the side would be a lighted candle - this would be in the corner, and a low, not a high candle.

10. The interpretation: The Cross is the light of thy life, of thy world, of thy relationship to God, of thy relationship to thyself, thy relationship to thy fellow man.

11. In the circle of the wreath, and the character of wreath with the fruit thereof, we find the indication of the circle that alone may span the distance between body, mind, soul - music!

12. Music should be the life giving flow, the interpreting of the emotions - physical, mental - of the body. A little later we should find these expressions taking other forms than the piano, but this is the basis - the interpreting, the ability to interpret most to the types or classes of music. So, begin with this. Get this thoroughly, and begin with the simplest, but of ever interpreting the emotions of the body, the mind, the soul. And we will come into symphonies then, to be sure. For these are those upon which the greater interpretation of the soul and mind may attune the body to the infinite.

13. In analyzing the body here, the mind and soul, these we would choose from the records with the desire and purpose that this information should prove a helpful experience, that it should enable the body to attain to those purposes. Not that it is to be other than a light to the pathway; not the pathway, but the light to the pathway. For, in the Cross is the pathway. Who overcame the Cross? Who through a Cross attained "I have overcome the world"? Then in Him is the way, the light. For He is the pathway, He is the light.

14. Begin with that in thine own life, as the pattern of thy life; not as something that is to be cloistered or that is to be lit and put under a bushel, but - as He gave - set it on the hill. Know you are right and don't fret because people say you are funny. They called Him funny, they called Him egotistical, they called Him blasphemous. If they loved Him not, they will not love thee. But in thyself, in thy body, thy mind, thy thoughts, thy activities, and - most of all - in thy music, as ye practice even, see in each note a voice, a song, a note of praise raised to Him, who is the Giver of all good and perfect gifts, and who is hurt when such gifts are used for indulgence, for gratification, or in any respect not as glory to Him. Not that this is selfish, for as it glorifies Him it is ever as He gave, "And I, if I be lifted up, will draw all men unto me." That means woman too, it means thee, in that as ye glorify Him ye are fitted, ye are enabled to raise others also. Thus ye contribute to that sphere of activity about thee, to the glory of the Father in the Christ. And He has promised to be with thee. He keeps His promise. Then, it is necessary that you keep yours - with yourself first, and those who love you, who trust you, yea even with those who hate you. Not because of them but because of Him, who is the right.

15. And one day ye will find thy name famous among those who make music.

16. As to the appearances in the earth, not all of these may be given. For these ye attain in thy varied cycles of unfoldment. As indicated in the first promise to man, in his relationship to the Creative Forces, "Honor thy father, thy mother that thy days may be long in the land." Think not that it stops there. The longer there has been the proper use of thy abilities, the greater has been or may be opportunities for the glorifying of God, and ye find that with what measure ye mete to others - mentally, spiritually, physically - it is measured back to thee.

17. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity, the land of the present birth, among those sometimes called a strange people, because of their peace loving qualities, and lack of hostility in any period.

18. You will find greater strength, then, in those tenets of the brethren than in any other organized group. But remember, all that have the truth, that recognize the coming of God in the flesh, have a place and will contribute to the greater development of all. So, look upon same not as a closed organization. For, He is all things to all men, that there may be the true answer in "The Lord is one."

19. There the entity first contributed to the charades for children. Then in the beginning for self in the present, ye will find that thy music should begin with children - in their relationship to one another, to the interpreting of things within the own emotions. For these will continue to grow. For they are of life itself.

20. The name then was Marie Chadleney. The entity gained, and yet in the end found differences hurting very much.

21. Then do not be disturbed because ye find yourself high strung, highly emotional in the physical and mental. Never use this as an excuse, however; for excuses are very poor, whatever they may be. Knowing thyself, correct these in the manner that ye will be patient with thyself, patient with others. Don't be hurt; it will sting, yes - but let it not make a difference. Know that He is with thee and nothing else counts.

22. Before that the entity was in the Grecian land, in that period when the activities of the people extended more from Rome to Greece - than in those periods when Greece brought the activities of drama or art to Rome.

23. This was in the early days of the church, when the Roman rule had brought the church to Rome through the arrest of Paul, Peter and some of the other Apostles that caused the establishing of those activities; and then those activities first came to Greece - through those periods when Paul, Barnabas, Silas and others of the ministry had brought a message to portions of that land.

24. The entity then came close to those activities, being in the home of Dorcas. There the entity acted as a helper in those periods when it became necessary that the activities be kept at late hours.

25. The entity likes to keep late hours yet! It's not very good in the beginnings but later such may be a part of thy experience - as ye are enabled to give thy music to others.

26. There ye aided in the singing of psalms, in the care of the children.

27. Hence in the beginning here, we find that the activities should often be measured by or tempered with the thought of children.

28. The name then was Melia.

29. Before that the entity was in the Arabian or Persian land, when there were those activities set up in the hospital, or the care of the sick in an organized manner.

30. The entity was among those of the natives that were helpful in those directions and brought much care. Those that were enabled to be active under the guidance of the teacher in the period came especially under the care of the

3053-3 Page 5

entity.

31. Routines, then, means much to the entity - mostly to be broken. For these become disturbing to the entity, but first, as indicated in the present experience, get the spirit of whatever may be the cause, the purpose - as in thy practice. It will become laborious to you unless, with each note, it is carrying a message to a loving Savior, in glory and for glory. Think! what ye do for Him may be measured back to thee, yea many more than an hundredfold. Remember! Remember!

32. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land when there were those preparations for activities where there were emissaries, teachers, ministers of all characters prepared for activities in other lands, as well as in the native land.

33. The entity then was among those that were active principally in the Temple Beautiful, or those phases of the preparation of individuals for the interpreting of the activities of body and mind through music and dancing.

34. The entity will like to dance, when it has interpreted much in itself. This is well when not abused. Used as an exercise for the body it is creative. Used as a drain by its exercise is a sin.

35. Those experiences there may be used as practical experiences in the present; just as the exercise of the hands, the arms, the body in preparation in music, used as a creative thing is helpful. Used as a force or to make others, it will become derogatory mentally and physically.

36. Then be glad of the opportunities to use such in a creative way and manner.

37. The name then was At-Alen.

38. As to the abilities of the entity in the present:

39. The activities of the nature and tendency indicated require spiritual counsel first, in that the entity finds itself - in purpose, in ideal, and in what it desires. Through music you may find the greater expression of self. Determine that you will be one of the best your mother ever had. In that way and manner you will bring honor to self and glory to God.

40. Ready for questions.

41. (Q) Is there any latent talent that should be developed? (A) The spirituality needs the most unfoldment. It isn't so much development that is needed but the becoming aware of it, using it in mental and material things.

42. (Q) Advise as to type of teacher to be selected for continuing piano? (A) One that would allow the entity to advance as fast as

3053-3 Page 6

it applies itself.

43. (Q) How can the mother best cope with this temperament for the best development? (A) It isn't so much cope with it as it is just meeting it. Be just as patient as you would like for thy child to be. The child will then be more patient with you also.

44. (Q) Any color, stone or symbol for spiritual development? (A) The lapis lazuli should be the better, but this should be encased and worn - for this body - about the waist; not around your neck.

45. (Q) Any hobbies that I should develop that would be beneficial in my development? (A) Photography - outside, not inside.

46. (Q) What course of studies should I pursue in secondary and higher education? (A) Music! History of, the activity of, all of those various forms. If you learn music, you'll learn history. If you learn music you'll learn mathematics. If you learn music, you'll learn most all there is to learn - unless it's something bad.
