Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Virginia.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: In giving an interpretation of the conditions as we find here, many things are to be taken into consideration. For, all may appear sometime to have the interruptions in the physical well being.
3. In this body we find no exception. There are disturbing forces, but we find that - unless there develops a great deal more of temperature or inflammation - there need not necessarily be the resorting to operative measures.
4. These, then, are the conditions as we find with this body, [3054]:
5. In giving the sources of the disturbing forces, and as to what may be done about them, we find in the blood supply - with the retractions that are caused by the manner in which it reflexes to not only natural sources but the unusual abilities in the mental as well as spiritual outlook of the entity - there are certain indications - and at times contacts may be made in the associations here.
6. As we find, the basic disturbance is the alimentary canal. This has not produced any form of dissention, nor should it, in the minds that would minister to the better well being of the body.
7. In the lymph circulation, through alimentary canal, there has come accumulations in the pockets along portions of the jejunum. And this has at times produced a tendency for regurgitation, so that there is that full, uncomfortable feeling; with the formations of gas through the intestinal tract, as well as in the duodenum and the organs of assimilation.
8. These arose first by inflammation from cold, or sometime ago intestinal flu; and then something of a disturbance in
3054-1 Page 2
the pancreas as related to the circulation of lymph through the area - because of the activities of these upon food particles. This was the beginning of the condition.
9. This, combined with a subluxation that exists in the 5th and 6th dorsal, tends to produce a slowing of impulse through the area. These have affected the deeper or central circulation, and these find reactions in a sympathetic system upon the activity of kidneys, and the slowing of the heart at times in its reaction.
10. These cause more anxiety, and a nervous headache may ensue.
11. As we find, in bringing the better conditions - we would first begin taking internally a few drops of Glyco-Thymoline daily - in most of the water. However, because of the disturbance to the taste, don't cut off the amount of water taken. Put about three drops of the Glyco-Thymoline in each glassful of water taken.
12. Each evening, for some five or six evenings, apply Glyco-Thymoline Packs over the area of the lower portion of the liver and across the abdominal area, and extend these down to the caecum on the right side. Use two to three thicknesses of cotton cloth or toweling well saturated in the Glyco-Thymoline. These we would keep on for about an hour. Cover the Packs with oilcloth or something of the kind to prevent soiling or wetting the bed linens.
13. Do this for five days.
14. THEN have - not before - first a good colonic irrigation, scientifically given, to cleanse the whole of the colon area.
15. Begin then and have about ten osteopathic adjustments (one every other day), specifically to relax the body; stimulating only in the area below the 6th dorsal, and this done more by the activity of those centers as related between the cerebrospinal system and the conjunction in the plexus with the sympathetic nerve system. Do relax the lymph centers, in chest, and especially in the areas along either side of the diaphragm area - this especially in the liver and in the spleen; these from the external, these lymph centers, see?
16. As to the diet - until the alimentary canal has been purified - we would not have too much of solid foods, and yet not so much liquid or juices as not to carry a stimulation. Use rather gruels of all kinds - as the combinations of whole grain cereals, as oatmeal and all such, and both the dry and cooked cereals. Use citrus fruit juices (but at opposite times of the day from the cereals), also eggs and vegetable soups. Not too much meat in the
3054-1 Page 3
soups, but let them be seasoned rather with butter.
17. And if the body will do these, we should find bettered conditions.
18. The osteopathic adjustments we would have by Waters.
19. The Packs may be given at home.
20. Ready for questions.
21. (Q) Is there a tumor? (A) The lymph pockets are of the nature that they may be called tumors, yes - but with these applications, these should be made to drain themselves and thus cleanse the system of those tendencies for the accumulations, so that the system should be aided in adjusting these disturbances. The osteopathic adjustments will relieve those tendencies that have been produced upon the whole central nervous system, as well as the circulatory system, and relieve the tension on the heart, liver, lungs and kidneys. Do that.
22. We are through with this Reading. Two copies to Self (one for osteopath, Dr. Lulu Irene Waters, Copy to Ass'n file 1707 Columbia Rd., Washington D.C., when you are ready for these treatments - Dr. Waters has had experience with Mr. Cayce's readings.) (If you would like to go over the Reading with someone of our membership in your vicinity who has had personal experience with Mr. Cayce's work, we would refer you to Mr. and Mrs. Louis B. Poss, 212 Woodland Terrace, Jefferson Park, Alexandria, Va. They would be glad to discuss the Reading with you and help you get started with the treatment, or help you to understand anything that is not clear. At your convenience we'd appreciate a history of your case to the time of obtaining the Reading.) g.)
