Time of Reading 10:55 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Tenn.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3102].

3. In giving an analysis of the physical conditions as we find them, and that which would be the more helpful for the body, we find that there must also be considered the relationships that are borne with the spiritual or emotional body. These must be considered by the body, if it would keep its physical body balanced and its mental body in those directions that may contribute the more to its own physical as well as spiritual welfare.

4. Psychological conditions, then, are the basis of some of the disturbing forces that at times aggravate rather than disarm the body.

5. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [3102] we are speaking of, present in this room:

6. In the emotional body, first:

7. Here we find the body should recognize that there is the physical, there is the mental, and there is the spiritual. The body, from a three-dimensional standpoint, is spiritual, mental, material. That manifested in the physical must first have been in the spiritual and the mental. While these are one, the mental and spiritual are neither discerned with the natural eye. Yet one may feel or know or receive the impressions from others in such a manner as to feel their thoughts, their thinking. To be able to materialize these in words so that they convey the thought is not always possible for individuals. Individuals are not always given such ability to express.

8. Hence we see there is the spiritual or the soul self, there is the mental - which is soul and physical, and there

3102-1 Page 2

is the physical manifestation.

9. This body has long suffered from loneliness within. This, then, has been the submerging of the ego, or self within. This when aroused by spiritual, mental or material things, becomes rather as a shock - to the mental self. For the body in its mental self is well balanced. But to have that balance out of line gives to the physical a different approach to all the experiences of the body. Thus the emotional or nervous upsets.

10. Then, let's consider the physical as existent in the present, to be sure. Then there will be warnings to the body, as to what may be brought into material manifestation in the physical - unless certain physical as well as mental attitudes are taken by the body.

11. Mind is ever the builder. That which the body-mind feeds upon, that it gradually becomes; provided that fed to the mind is assimilated by the mind body. Just as in the physical - without the activity of digestion, of assimilation. These are quite different in a physical body; that is: Digestion does not necessarily mean that what is digested is assimilated. Neither in the mental body does it mean that what is read, heard or spoken to the body, is assimilated by the mental body.

12. But with this body-physical, [3102] we are speaking of, present in this room:

13. In the blood supply - this we find very good in most respects. Along the centers of the cerebrospinal system, where sympathetic and cerebrospinal coordinate, or work together where they should coordinate, we find that there are those tendencies for areas to be overactive. Thus, as in the 3rd cervical, the 9th dorsal, the 4th lumbar, there are those areas where there are incoordinations between the physical impulses - or the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal nervous systems.

14. This gives to the blood supply that which at times builds the body up and as suddenly lets it down.

15. So, the body has those feelings within itself - which is of a physical nature, yet its source is in the mental or spiritual self. And there will be required the application of self in such a manner that those things may be assimilated by the mental body itself. And the physical applications may aid in these directions.

16. Thus those periods when the body feels far away, lonely, that nobody particularly cares, and that self does not care particularly.

17. These then supply to the nerve forces of the body such that expression will be found rather in a dull headache; not

3102-1 Page 3

exactly a headache, but the awareness that the brain is there, a feeling in the pit of the stomach as of a heaviness - where the assimilation, physical assimilation, should take place in the activity of the lymph through the alimentary canal.

18. Thus we find that the body has those tendencies at times in the area of the caecum; tenderness, and a filling in the throat, the inability - as it were - to keep something down, yet there's never anything there to swallow.

19. There is a lacking, then, in the supply of the salivary gland forces. For, the dryness in the throat, the feeling of a thickness of the tongue at times, arises from these physical conditions which exist in the body.

20. The blood flow and nerve expression from 3rd cervical, 9th dorsal, 4th lumbar. These need attention in a certain way, as may be indicated for the body.

21. These particular areas indicated show incoordination between sympathetic and cerebrospinal systems. Not a nerve deterioration, no. Not a nerve fatigue. Not a blood anemia. But a suppression of the activities in the physical forces of the body.

22. As the warnings have been given, these may become ANYTHING in the body. For, when there is the suppression of activity to the liver, to the spleen, to the heart, to the lungs, to the kidneys, any of these may gradually in their functioning become as deteriorating factors to the body.

23. Then, to keep the normal balance is that necessary for this body - in the mental, in the spiritual, in the physical nature - as to the real abilities of the body, physical, mental and spiritual.

24. In making applications for corrections, then:

25. We would first consider these from the spiritual angle. Not merely as something to be thought of. Make practical application, practical demonstration of such in the experience of the body:

26. Take a pad of paper and write, MY IDEAL.

27. Would you begin with the physical life, the home life, the relationships between individuals, the relationship with the universal consciousness, the relationships to betterment of the human race?

28. You should begin with the spiritual ideal. WHAT IS MY IDEAL?

29. Know it, not only as to WHO, but what it stands for, and be sure it is able to answer for any experience that may come to the body, mind, soul, or physical being. Not only what you believe but in WHOM you believe, and be sure He is able to keep that you commit unto Him against any day.

30. Then the mental self:

31. Set it in order, as it were; that is, so much time should be designated as that to be given to the study of self in relationship to spiritual things, so much in relationship to the mental world; so much as to the relationship of applying the tenets, principles, set as ideals for self in its home, with those of its own household, with its own friends, with strangers, and in regard to its own state, its own nation.

32. First of all, "Thou shalt have no other god before me." First to God, then thy neighbor as thyself.

33. These are the tenets. These are the manners for the mental and the psychological approach to the physical upsets that come to the body.

34. Then, make the physical adjustments in THIS manner:

35. At least once each week have a thorough hydrotherapy treatment. This should include a Fume Bath, with Witchhazel, followed by the needle shower and rubdown. then have a gentle massage with this combination of Oils: Peanut Oil...............6 ounces, Olive Oil................2 ounces, Lanolin (dissolved)....1/4 ounce, Sassafras Root Oil.....1/4 ounce.

36. These will separate, but shake them together and massage along the spine, especially in the areas back of the neck, 3rd cervical, 9th dorsal, and through the lumbar areas, especially the 4th lumbar.

37. Once a month have a thorough relaxing osteopathically.

38. Take internally the Vitamins A and D and B-1 Complex - the One A Day brand. These are very good combinations, especially those being combined in the present.

39. Do these - do not take one without the other. Do not begin at the end, but at the beginning - SELF - in mind, in body, in the mental self.

40. And we will find the outlook upon life, the abilities to aid, to create, expanding in those directions far beyond that even dreamed of as yet by the body.

41. DO keep in those lines of endeavor in which the body is engaged, but get the real purpose and not the outward vision.

42. Ready for questions.

43. (Q) Are there bad teeth that may be a contributing factor? (A) This is not a contributing factor. There are teeth that need local attention, but we find that this had best be after there has been physiotherapy treatment indicated - for at least three or four weeks. For it will change the

3102-1 Page 5

activity.

44. (Q) What causes and what should be done to correct bad taste in mouth? (A) This is just as has been described for the body. It's lack of glandular reaction, especially in the salivary glands. As there is a correction in the mental self of that it chooses to think - when you begin to set your house in order, as it were, you'll know what you are going to think this morning, or what you will think tomorrow at a special time - and this will CHANGE the whole attitude of the functioning of the organs in the body, as well as being stimulated by the physical activities done to correct same.

45. (Q) How may natural eliminations be produced? (A) By these massages, and then - of course - mostly in the diet. Do add to the diet a great deal more of fruit, and leafy vegetables.

46. (Q) What causes great discomfort with bladder and cervix, from inflammation? (A) These have been touched upon. These are a part of the sympathetic condition, but as the corrections are made by the massage with the oils, and the mental attitude is changed, these will find greater relief. For these have been considered in those things given as to the type of application that should be made, mentally and physically.

47. (Q) Is altitude a factor? Is our mountain climate too high for me? (A) No. As given, it is rather the incoordination between the emotional body and the physical body.

48. (Q) Do I lack hydrochloric acid? (A) No.

49. (Q) Regarding my distress over the working out of karma with the individual on the Toronto train on January 5th, to whom I was very rude, please advise how I may get in touch with him or meet this situation? Shall I make an effort, or will destiny arrange when this will take place? (A) He is not in the living plane! You can get in touch with him, but he is not in the living plane in the present.

50. (Q) What is his name? (A) James Crews.

51. (Q) What was his home on earth? (A) Calgary.

52. (Q) Had I known him in a previous incarnation? (A) We haven't the incarnations here. You had met him in this experience - we haven't the incarnations here.

53. We are through for the present.

Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See extra sheet of directions [which was enclosed] for the Physiotherapist. We would refer you to one such as Dr. H. J. Reilly, RCA Bldg., 1250 Sixth Ave., New York City, who is familiar with the type instructions given in your particular case. At least it would be well to have the first one or two treatments from him, then perhaps he could refer you to someone in your vicinity. The osteopathic treatments once a month may be taken from any good osteopath who will give a relaxing treatment.) nt.)
