Time of Reading 3:35 to 3:50 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Nebraska.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes - we find the body resting, but restless.
3. Now as we find, there are disturbances of a nature as to prevent the better physical functioning of the body. These may be materially aided, yet not corrected in their entirety.
4. These are the disturbing conditions as we find with this body, that have to do with the connection between, or those specific centers from which impulse for activity to the sensory organism is received from, cerebrospinal and sympathetic nerves.
5. Considering the age and the activity of the body, this is very good in many respects. But, for some times back, there has been a subluxation existing in the 3rd and 4th dorsal center, from which the auditory as well as optic forces receive impulse as related to supply of energies between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system. This, combined with a tendency, because of this minor flow of nerve impulse and of lymph circulation, for impoverishment, has turned to a form of catarrhal anemia.
6. Thus we have a prolapsus of the Eustachian tubes.
7. Owing to the age, and the long standing of the condition, and because of its very nature, not a great deal of help would be obtained even with the finger surgery (osteopathic) to break up these lesions.
8. But we find that these applications would be helpful:
9. Daily, for about an hour at the time, we would use Glyco-Thymoline packs on each side of the ear and at the base of the ear. Use three to four thicknesses of cotton cloth well saturated with Glyco-Thymoline - or moistened or wrung out in the Glyco-Thymoline, and apply to the face.

10. During that same period each day we would use the Radio-Active Appliance. Keep the attachment plates very clean, or polish well before and after using each time. Make the attachments to the wrist and ankle - the opposites, so that the energy is builded in the internal or deeper circulation.
11. Use that same period as the time for meditation, taking some portion of the Scripture; as the first Psalm, as the 23rd Psalm, or a combination of the statements of the lawgiver in the 30th of Deuteronomy, or portions of the 14th chapter of St. John. Use this as the basis of the meditation. And know, the healing may come within self.
12. For, as the vibrations are controlled through the activity of the Radio-Active Appliance, this takes energies in portions of the body, builds up and discharges body electrical energies that revivify portions of the body where there is a lack of energies stored.
13. Also each day, just before retiring, for about thirty minutes, consistently, the electrically driven vibrator - the sponge applicator. Use this on the side of the temple, around the ears, over the eyes themselves, the cheeks, the forehead, the neck, and especially at the 2nd and 3rd dorsal centers - which comes between the shoulder blades. Do not use it in a manner as to be hurrying through with it, and not too deep nor yet too light, but so that the vibrations are connected or directed to the body forces through the activity of the vibrator.
14. The rest - we would keep much of that mental attitude of the body. The body interprets correctly as to the manner of meditation, and the practical application of meditation. These we would keep.
15. But keep these rest periods for an hour daily, and for thirty minutes the mechanical application of directed energies to the body, and we will find helpful influences for the body.
16. There will be considerable improvements, and then there will be periods when apparently there is little or no change.
17. Do not grow weary of well doing. Continue to use these.
18. And continue to use the life in its abilities to contribute to the welfare of others. For, "As ye do it unto the least of thy brethren, ye do it unto me," saith the Lord of hosts.
19. Ready for questions.
20. (Q) What may be done to retain the sight that remains? (A) Just as indicated, the energizing of the body - that will enable the optic and the auditory forces to respond

better to the energies stored. And with the use of those applications made, and especially with the mental attitude and meditation, there should not only be retained but gained some use of the hearing and the vision. Do that.
21. (Q) Would you advise using any particular hearing aid? (A) No particular one. Let these be tried out. The Audi-Tone [?] should be the better for this particular body, when it is ready to be fitted. But do not fit it until the body has used these suggested applications for at least six months.
22. We are through with this reading. Copy to Husband " " Ass'n file (GD's note at the time of the reading: See article [which was enclosed] explaining theory of the Radio-Active Appliance. Some years ago one of our members was very enthusiastic about the hearing aids made by a company in Detroit - Aurex-Detroit Co., 933 Book Bldg., Detroit, Mich. I do not know whether the type referred to above is made by them or not - and I am not sure of the correct spelling. Perhaps you will know what is meant.)
