Born June 20, 1903, in Chicago, Ill. Time of Reading 3:40 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Illinois. (Life Reading Suggestion)
1. EC: (In going back over years from the present - " - '40 - some upsettings, some anxieties - '36 - expectancies - '27 - preparations - '25 - " etc., on back to birth date.)
2. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [3106].
3. In giving an interpretation of the records as we find them here, there is much from which to be chosen. But these we would choose with the desire and purpose that this may be a helpful experience for the entity; enabling the entity to better fulfillin the present those purposes for which it entered this present sojourn.
4. While urges latent and manifested are indicated in the entity's experience, none of these surpass the birthright of each soul. For, the entity enters a material manifestation that it may show appreciation, that it may show the glory of the Creative Force or God in the earth. That should be its purpose, its aim, its desire.
5. When there is the manifestation - as there is the tendency in the experience of this entity - to show the own ego in self-indulgence in any form, this becomes as the setting up of some other gods before that which is the purpose through which life itself is maintained. And this may become a stumblingblock in the material experiences in the earth.
6. For, there are those immutable, unchangeable laws. These are oft termed in the material world cause and effect, or - by some - karmic influences. Yet none of these, if the ideal is set, should separate the individual entity from the awareness of the Creative Forces' operation through its own experience.
7. As to the innate or so-called astrological influences, we find these apparent: Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Venus. These, in varied aspects, carry latent urges - or
3106-1 Page 2
susceptibility of the consciousness of the entity's inner self. But the use or application depends upon what the entity has set as its ideal, and how consistently the entity applies same in the daily experience.
8. In the astrological urges we find the high mental abilities, the universal consciousness, and in Saturn those weaknesses of appetites, those tendencies to use the power or position for gratifying its own ego - or self. These should be lost the more in that universal consciousness of the whole.
9. Then, it would be well if the entity itself would choose its own ideals - spiritual, mental and material, and make application of same, first finding self.
10. As indicated from Mercury and Mars the entity is not only high-minded but capable of seeing the shady side of that wherein it may take advantage for self. These may materially apply for the moment, but thine own conscience would confuse thee.
11. In the fields of activity that have to do with the scientific reactions, as will be seen from the pattern in the earth, those that have to do with finance and personal as well as general properties, the entity may make the material as well as the mental and spiritual success - if there is the application of self in the specific or definite directions as may be pointed out from the individual or particular sojourns of the entity through the consciousness or awareness in Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and even Saturn.
12. All of these, then, are but signposts along the way.
13. Then, first study self; knowing in Whom as well as in what you believe; not condemning any. For, with what measure you mete, it is measured to you again. Inasmuch as you do it to the least of your brethren, you do it to thy Maker.
14. Thus there is instilled in each soul, as with this entity, the consciousness of its relationships to others, and those measures in which it may apply self not merely for gratifying but for giving the opportunities to others that have lost their way.
15. Thus, as a lecturer, as a teacher, as one applying mechanical as well as medicinal means to the own welfare as well as the welfare of those about the entity. These indicate the trend of thought of the individual.
16. As to appearances in the earth - while these may not all be given here, these we find as the greater influences in the present:
17. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during those early settlings in the land; when
3106-1 Page 3
circumstances caused such activities in the experience of the entity - as John Marshall - that there was the overcrowding or the over-activity in appetites of the body.
18. Whether in the moral, the mental or the purely material gratification, these weaknesses exist - as through that experience.
19. The entity made advances in the fields of distributing helpful forces in the brewing of herbs, in making minor adjustments in fractures and the like, throughout that experience.
20. This made for the general urge in the present for business, those relationships with business, in those directions as indicated - which still have their call, as it were, to the entity.
21. Do not put these off too far, if they are to be accepted into thy activity in the present sojourn.
22. Yet, as will be seen from the experience in a Persian sojourn, there are other abilities that are manifested in the present.
23. For, before that the entity was in the Persian land, when - as Rhoul - the entity was an active force in the Grecians that came into the Persian land for the subduing and controlling of those interests in the "city in the hills and the plains."
24. The use of the abilities in the attempt to undermine the activities of Uhjltd brought much of undesirable experiences. Yet in the end, with the convincing of the entity of the activity through the subliminal to the higher mental self, these brought mental developments for the entity. The keen sense of justice, "if you can get by with it," is the experience in the present from that particular period of activity in the earth.
25. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land, among those that led the clannish peoples that were outpouring from the Uranian application, as well as in the application of treatments themselves.
26. Yet we find the entity being disturbed by these at times, bringing to the experience questionings as to the factors that control this or that experience.
27. This also gives the entity an interest in that which is new, or the application of old thoughts into new ideals, and not ideas alone.
28. The entity then was among the children of the Law of One, though those activities had been overrun by its own peoples, and the study of those things pertaining to the unfoldment from conception to the noonday experience of life, and those that would deal with the application of self
3106-1 Page 4
in the periods of unfoldment. These become problems in the entity's present experience. Where there are cause and effect in the spiritual attributes of the body, there are those influences of cause and effect in the life experience of those that apply themselves, either to the arts or in the cultivation of lands or in the studies of unusual natures. All bring their wonderment, and used in those directions may bring to the entity the greater experiences wherein it may study to show itself approved unto God, a workman not ashamed, yet rightly dividing the words of admonition, as well as the activities that are felt by the entity itself.
29. In the fields of service as a helper in administering to those afflicted in body, mind or soul, as well as to their physical needs - these are the works for the entity. For, these indicate the application of the tenets that may bring harmony to the experience.
30. Ready for questions.
31. (Q) Any suggestions as to how I may place character analysis on a scientific basis before the medical profession? (A) As the entity in the Atlantean and Egyptian experience aided in preparing individuals for vocational activity, there are the tendencies to analyze conditions; remembering, in such, the spiritual, the mental, the material. While they are one, as an entity, in their manifestations in the earth they become as fields of service in which the development and unfoldment of the soul, or the undeveloped soul, may seek to find outlets. Thus, as a psycho-analyst, as one keeping data - we will find abilities by this entity.
32. (Q) Would I be able to help more people by entering character or vocational analysis work, and leaving the practice of medicine? (A) In entering the character analysis and vocational guidance, the same PRINCIPLES must be applied. As to the tenets or the actual administering, these must be left out - if the greater experience would come to the entity. Know in Whom as well as in what you believe. Know as to Who is the author of same, and consider that all things are possible with God. As within self, it is possible to become one whom many will call blessed. For, the very application of self in truths that pertain to the light - not as the light of the sun, but rather in that light of the SON. For He IS the way, the truth and the life.
33. (Q) Then, you would advise continuing the practice of medicine? (A) The use of those applications of psycho-analysis or vocational direction in preference to the medical application, though use the same principles.
3106-1 Page 5
34. (Q) Give suggestions as to best way to go about this. (A) First find self, and know thy ideal. Then make practical application. So live that ye never ask another to do that you would not do yourself, if conditions were reversed. Study the spiritual import, if you would know the mental as well as the physical attributes of a soul, a mind, a body - though they are one.
35. (Q) Any suggestions in regard to military service? (A) As we find, this may become necessary or may not, dependent upon what the entity sets in motion about same. Let thy light so shine that others may see thy own good works and take hope, and search after Him. In finding Him, keep the faith; less and less of self, more and more of Him in thy life.
