1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3118].
3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions which prevent the better normal functioning. We find that these especially have to do with activities in the locomotories, and thus involve primarily the locomotion - and the ability to control the lower limbs. However, there are also other conditions existent that disturb the body.
4. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [3118], we are speaking of:
5. The blood supply, though not normal, is very good, considering the disturbances through the activities of the circulatory system, as a system.
6. The irregularity of the heart's activity is more from reflexes in circulation of the central circulatory system than an organic disturbance itself; though this at times does and may give more anxiety for the body's welfare.
7. But as we find, if there are proper considerations given when the suggestions are outlined for applications to help this body, these should not be too disturbing.
8. The character of hormones in the blood supply shows the lack of those properties - through the absorption in circulation - for replenishing nerve plasm itself. While the reactions of the white matter in nerve supply are as yet sufficient, there are indications that reflexes - requiring the opposite flow of the gray matter - are at a loss at times to complete themselves wholly.
9. Thus in these it is seen that the assimilations are deficient in causing the proper structural replenishment in body; in ribs as well as in thighs, and in parts there is a
3118-1 Page 2
deficiency in the plasm for the red blood cell itself. Thus the call upon the red cell to complete sufficient numbers in leucocyte, or the warrior, as combined with the lymph flow, is gradually lessening; causing therefore an irregularity as to numbers of red blood and white blood cellular forces. Though the body in itself does not give the appearance as of anemia, these effects are a natural result of such a deficiency.
10. In the nerve forces themselves - those particular plexus in the coccyx and the sacral and the sciatic centers are deficient. Thus the inabilities of the body to control the stamina or the activity of the muscles controlled by nerves, so that the voluntary activity becomes involuntary.
11. It is not wholly that effect as may be indicated from the conditions in the blood stream and supply - as of a sclerous nature in the flow itself - but rather a hindrance in the coccyx and the ilium plexus to supply THEIR sufficient aid to the nerve system, from the glands that secrete same in the segments of the sacral and the coccyx portion of the spine.
12. The general nerve supply through the main portion, or torso of body, is gradually weakening, but as yet there is not sufficient deterioration as to cause very perceptible disturbance; though at times some anxiety is exhibited in portions of the left shoulder and arm, and through a part of the neck and side of the head.
13. This indicates, or should - to the anatomist, the position of the disturbance, and the areas that need the stimulation, with the combining of elements deficient in the chemistry of the body-forces including that in the blood stream.
14. Deficiency in the body of phosphorous, first, brought these deficiencies in other directions, by setting the body functionings awry.
15. Then, with the subluxations in the coccyx and sacral, this has become more and more acute.
16. In making administrations for this body - as we have indicated, the circulation, the heart's activity, the circulation between lungs, heart, kidneys and liver, must be taken into consideration, as well as the deficiencies in the chemical forces of the body, and the suppressions produced by pressures in the areas between nervous forces and nerve supply, and nerve activity in muscular as well as structural portions of the body force itself.
17. Then, to aid, we would first give that there be added in vibratory form those chemicals to aid the sources of supply, to replenish, and to remove those deficiencies in
3118-1 Page 3
body-assimilation.
18. Prepare the Wet Cell Appliance, then, in this manner:
19. To the gallon and a half of distilled or rain water, we would add - in the order named: Copper Sulphate....................2 pounds, Sulfuric Acid C.P..............1 1/4 ounces, Zinc...............................8 drams, Willow Charcoal..................1/2 pound.
20. These would make up the charge for the Appliance.
21. Use one pole either of nickel or steel that is sixty percent carbon steel, and the other pole of copper. To the nickel or steel plate or rod, attach the nickel or steel plate - the larger plate that is to be attached to the body at the umbilical and lacteal duct plexus, or - on this body, particularly - four fingers from the navel center to the right and two fingers up from that point. This here, for this body, would be just below and to the right of the gall duct (which in itself is not too well sustained in its activity with the pancreas and the spleen's activity, so that some resentments have been builded by this body towards people and towards conditions. This in the mind must be eliminated, also). This larger nickel or steel plate would be the one through which the medicinal properties would pass vibratorially to the body, you see, both of the vegetable and of the metal nature. Always this connection would be made at the same center, the umbilical and lacteal duct plexus, while the small copper plate that is to radiate from disturbed centers must be different.
22. Attach the Appliance for thirty minutes each day, one day using the Gold Solution (in the proportions of one grain Chloride of Gold to each ounce of distilled water, and use at least three ounces), attaching the copper plate to the 9th dorsal - not the lower end but the 9th dorsal center, so that it obtains the radiation there, especially to the left side of same - not the 8th and 9th nor the 9th and 10th, but the 9th dorsal center:
23. The next day using Atomidine (in the proportions of one ounce Atomidine to two ounces distilled water), attaching the copper plate to the secondary cardiac plexus - or at the 3rd dorsal;
24. The next day using Spirits of Camphor, full strength (four ounces of it), attaching the copper plate to the lumbar axis one time, and the next time (next time the Camphor is used, you see) to the 2nd coccyx center. It is only when the Camphor is used that the copper plate is to be altered in its attachment from one time to the next.

25. After fifteen treatments with each solution, renew the solution.
26. Recharge the Appliance every thirty days.
27. Each day following the use of the Appliance, massage the body with this combination of oils; adding these in the order named: Nujol, as the base................6 ounces, Oil of Peanuts....................2 ounces, Oil of Pine Needles...............1 ounce, Oil of Sassafras Root...........1/2 ounce, Lanolin (liquefied).............1/2 ounce.
28. This doesn't mean that the massage is to be given just as something to be gotten through with. Do it each period as if there was an expectancy and a hope for helpful things, and suggest the same to the body as it is administered. And if there isn't a response to the body, just as well quit giving any application!
29. Shake this solution together (for it will separate when standing), then pour a small quantity in an open saucer and massage with the fingertips. This is not only to be applied along the area of the sympathetic nervous system (more than the centers of the spinal column), but more along the area of the sympathetic system from the 2nd cervical to the end of the spine, AND the limbs; from the groin to the tips of the toes, up and back, in a circular motion mostly, circling around the limbs.
30. In the diet - keep to those things that heal within and without. A great deal of celery, lettuce, tomatoes, and especially use the garden blueberry. (This is a property which someone, some day, will use in its proper place!) These should be stewed, but with their own juices, little sugar but in their own juices. Also use plenty of watercress, beets, and especially beet tops. These, of course, are to be used in sufficient quantity to satisfy the appetite but not to make any of them become as something disliked. So prepare them in many different forms. Have seafoods often, and fowl. These we would give as the main portion of the diet, or the things to be stressed in the diet.
31. These will help, if the attitude is changed from resentment.
32. Ready for questions.
33. (Q) What of the deformity of the thumbs? (A) Forget 'em!
34. (Q) What of vitamins and medications being taken? Should these be continued?
3118-1 Page 5
(A) Which do you wish to do, get better or stay as you are?
35. (Q) Any further advice? (A) Remember, the attitude will have much to do here with the bringing of help. If this is not EVER constructive, and as indicated, if there are resentments because there is time taken for the rubs, well to quit!
36. We are through with this reading. Copy to Self through Miss [3667] " " Ass'n file [Comment by [3667] following reading: "Everything was so true; about resentments, this is my friend who hates Roosevelt so, says that she could murder him with her own hands, etc. - just a sample of her attitude. Perhaps a sample of what the reading meant."] (7/28/43 GD's notes: See extra sheet of directions [which was enclosed] to be sent to Mr. A. M. Godfrey, 2709 Lafayette Blvd., Norfolk, Va., when ordering the Wet Cell Appliance, so he will know how to prepare it for your particular needs. If watercress may not be obtained fresh, the canned juice may be used. The ROLLE Watercress Macerate is very good, made by Vegetable Juices, Inc., Chicago, Ill., sells for 20 cents a can.) an.)
