1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3137].
3. Now as we find, there are those conditions that disturb the body. These in the main are rather the result of the "batteries" of the body having run down; thus slowing up the eliminations, producing inability to store energies in the body. Thus the periods of tiredness, languidness; yet the mind of the body works on. This slows up the heart activity, making for poor eliminations, some disturbances with the prostates owing to the activity of the kidneys. For, this is as the batteries of the body, one being positive and the other negative. Thus the acidity in the system and all of these cause these general conditions, as well as that more specific where the poor circulation through the superficial activity causes irritation at times to parts of the body, in a form of rash that appears.
4. As we find these we would apply for the body.
5. First, we would prepare a compound to be taken internally.
6. To two gallons of water, in an enamel container (not tin, but copper can be used - do not use a metal top, but rather a glass cover or an enamel when this is set to boil, or the copper top it this is available) add - in the order named: Yellow Dock Root..................2 ounces, Burdock Root......................1 ounce, Snake Root........................2 ounces, Buchu Leaves.....................15 grains,
3137-1 Page 2
Podophyllin.....................1/2 grain, Ragweed (green)...................1 ounce, Elder Flower......................4 ounces.
7. Reduce this by slow boiling to once gallon. Then add to this: Rye Whiskey (90%)...............1/2 pint, with Balsam of Tolu cut in same .......3 drams. [See 3137-1, Par. R7.]
8. The dose of this would be a teaspoonful four times each day, after each meal and at bedtime.
9. When about half the quantity has been taken, begin having general osteopathic relaxing treatments - at least half a dozen.
10. Do these, and we will bring better conditions for this body.
11. Ready for questions.
12. (Q) Any advice regarding diet? (A) Keep away from too much starches. Fresh vegetables are very well. Very few of tomatoes raw. Though the cooked tomatoes are very well. Not too much of corn though boiled corn, preferable to that fried. Squash, beans, leeks, spinach and the like we would take. Fish and fowl often. Ham or beef not at all. Breakfast bacon a little, very crisp. Eggs only boiled, never fried. These are not all, but the type of foods the body should take.
13. (Q) Any local application for rash? (A) Use Zemo on the irritated portions. As well as on the rectal and the prostate areas.
14. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file
