Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., N.Y.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3157].

3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions which have prevented the better physical functioning of the body. While these are the effects or results of very poor care of the body through a given period, we find that these disturbances should be used as a period for the mental or spiritual-mental development for the body.

4. Let there be less and less resentment of any kind respecting others or in the apparent negligence on the part of others. Remember, as He has given, "If they have hated me they will hate you also - if they have misused me they will misuse you also."

5. In the physical or pathological conditions, such segment pressures have been created through the pelvic system and in the sacral and ileac plexus, that there can never be the full circulation through those areas until these pressures are removed. For the nerve forces in the lymph that control activities in the sympathetic system are not coordinating with the impulses of the cerebrospinal system. Thus there will still continue to be the tendency for the adherence of tissue through the area. A tendency of plethora produces pressure and causes slow eliminations of used energies; thus bringing the arthritic and neuritic tendencies in portions of the body.

6. The organs of the sensory system become sympathetically involved, as do the organs of assimilation.

7. With the formation of the kinds of lesions through the lumbar and sacral area, these naturally tend to make for an overactivity or an underactivity in the 9th dorsal or solar

plexus area, as well as in the cervical where the connections in the 3rd and 4th cervical are in association with the activities of the organs of pelvis, and the hypogastric and pneumogastric nerves in the assimilation and elimination.

8. The headaches, the tiredness, the forms of anemia that present themselves all become results of those pressures and accumulations from the amounts of adhesions caused in the pelvic and the sacral areas.

9. We find that there should be a systematic series of osteopathic adjustments. However, each time before these adjustments are made - which should be twice each week - we would relax the area to be adjusted by applying heavy packs of Glyco-Thymoline. Use three or four thicknesses of cotton cloth saturated with warm Glyco-Thymoline and apply for at least an hour to an hour and a half, the day before the adjustments are to be made. Let these packs extend over the lumbar area and all of the sacral area, even to the end of the spine. Apply heat over this, not too much but sufficient to cause these properties not only to relax the body but to be absorbed into those areas. Thus the osteopathic corrections, when administered the next day, will relieve these tensions and make for those tendencies towards a better coordination and a better alkalinity in the eliminations. Thus the activity to the kidneys will be aided, also of the bladder and organs of pelvis, as well as the activity for the whole body.

10. After the first series of from ten to twelve osteopathic treatments - and relaxing treatments they should be in the main - rest a period of two to three weeks.

11. Then begin these again; having each time before the adjustments are made the Glyco-Thymoline Packs again.

12. But at the beginning of the 2nd series, we would also use the violet ray, either the same evening the adjustments have been made or the next evening when ready to retire; this will relax the body, enabling the body to rest better. This should not be begun until after the first series of adjustments and the rest period, else we will find the plethora in tissue areas and in segments in the lumbar and lower dorsal and sacral area will tend to make too great an adhesive reaction. By beginning the violet ray with the 2nd series of adjustments we will stimulate the system to a better coordination and better circulation, better rest and better conditions throughout the body.

13. These we would do.

14. Ready for questions.

15. (Q) Is there an osteopath in Rochester you would recommend?

3157-1 Page 3

(A) Any that would be in sympathy with the treatments here suggested.

16. (Q) An operation then is not necessary? (A) We would not operate in the present. This condition should be disseminated without operative measures, if the Glyco-Thymoline Packs and the osteopathic treatments are given as indicated. To be sure if there are to be the better results, the mental attitudes are to be done first. Do first things first. Do not doubt. Do apply all of those things suggested; the spiritual and mental attitude, and then the physical reactions to be followed.

17. (Q) Any advice regarding diet? (A) Those foods that are body building. Keep away from those things that form too much acids in the body. Of course citrus fruit juices are well. Though for this body the citrus fruits themselves are better than just the juices alone. Stimulating foods are well, of course not with spices or the like but such as fowl and fish, these are stimulating to certain activities and would be well for the body, as also would the leafy vegetables.
