Time of Reading 10:40 to 10:50 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., N.Y.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [3163].

3. As we find, these are more mental aberrations, or lack of coordination between cerebrospinal and the sympathetic nervous system.

4. These come from a condition existent when very young.

5. As to whether this may be entirely corrected at this late date, will depend upon the persistency with which administrations may be made for the body.

6. For, as we find, the disturbances are in the nerve ends of the coccyx area; and the reactions are confusion, with the inability of the body to coordinate the impulses received from instructions by others or to apply that obtained by impressions received through the sensory activities.

7. Not an imbecile, not lesions in the brain; though there is a very smooth reaction in the reflexes in brain centers.

8. We find that there should be the administration of Chloride of Gold for the body, so as to cause nerve energies to be rebuilded. This would be prepared in the proportions of one grain of Chloride of Gold Sodium to each ounce of distilled water, using three ounces for each fifteenth-day period of treatment; that is after fifteen applications to the body. This would be carried into the body vibratorially through the Wet Cell Appliance. Use the regular charge for the Appliance, but no Charcoal in this particular case. Recharge the Appliance every thirty days.

9. The attachments would be made to the body only twice each week, for thirty minutes to one hour. The large plate through which the Chloride of Gold passes vibratorially

would be attached to the umbilical plexus and lacteal duct, which would be on this body three fingers from the navel center directly to the right and two fingers up from that point (a little bit of variation in the abdominal structure here). The small copper plate would be attached to the 4th lumbar.

10. Immediately after removing the attachments there should be corrections osteopathically, which will necessarily have to be very gradually made.

11. Now, we may find periods when there will be produced reflex reactions, when the body would apparently become very much aggravated at those making administrations; while at other periods it would become very much upset with those who insist upon these applications being tried.

12. So, much will depend upon those who have the direction of the body, as to whether they will go through these periods of the reaction that will occur from time to time. These will occur for two to three days, at or near what would be the Periods for the body in its functioning.

13. But these nerves will necessarily have to be straightened; that is, as it were, will have to be straightened where pressures have been produced from an injury to the end of the spine. Don't remove it, but DO make those changes so that there is not a short circuiting in the impulses from the brush end of the spine to the nerves of the lower portion of the sympathetic system.

14. That is, corrections may be made, but it will require patience and persistence.

15. Use the Appliance regularly twice each week for at least six months, and then have a rest period from the Appliance for three months.

16. But during the period of rest do keep up the osteopathic adjustments.

17. And it will require patience on the part of the one making the adjustments, and a good one to make suggestions as the treatments are administered. It will require at least thirty minutes to an hour to give these treatments. A lady, of course would be better - but who ever would be in sympathy with these applications suggested. This would be an excellent case for Dr. Dick, if she will take it; but the environs should be where those who are responsible or who are in sympathy with the body may watch it closely.

18. We are through with this Reading. Two copies to Sister (one for the osteopath) Copy to Ass'n file " " Miss Goodall for indexing

(Let us know the name of the osteopath you choose. Dr. Dick's address: Dr. Marion Dick - 5041 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, Pa. If impossible to go there, she might refer you to someone in your vicinity. Dr. Dick has handled several cases who have had readings, with remarkable results. See extra sheet of directions [which was enclosed] to be sent to Mr. A. M. Godfrey - 2709 Lafayette Blvd., Norfolk, Va., if you wish him to make up the Appliance as suggested. See article [which was enclosed] explaining theory of this Appliance.)
