Time of Reading 10:50 to 11:05 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Ohio.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3166].
3. As we find, there are disturbances causing anxieties through the physical forces of the body. These conditions are rather of a complex nature, but if the proper precautions are taken these may be eliminated.
4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body:
5. In the blood supply there is quite a variation in different portions of the body, as to the manner in which these circulate. Hence this has caused some distension in the heart area. There is not so much distortion in the blood force itself, yet it is not purified as thoroughly as it should be in lungs or in the liver. Hence this is a contributing cause to the variations in pressure and in pulsation, but these are only a part of the condition; for, toxic forces left in the body also disturb kidneys at times, in their attempt to meet the needs of the conditions brought about by this lack of full oxidization or purification in the lung forces and in the liver area.
6. These cause, then, this disturbance; or they are a contributory cause to the disturbances, as will be seen.
7. Sources arise from the nerve pressures, as well as a physical condition that exists in the ascending colon.
8. We find that in times back there was an injury in the 6th dorsal area. Following this there were those disturbances in the nature of congestion or cold, and a colon disturbance. These were after effects of flu. Hence these pressures, in their combination, have caused these variations in pressure in one arm or the other; or almost

crossways of the body and would be a variation in the left arm and in the right leg or, there would be a better unison in the right arm and left leg than in the left arm and right leg. Yet the tiredness, the fullness through the abdomen area, the quick pulsations, and the fluttering conditions when walking up steps or standing a long time on the feet, or when sitting a long time - either a curved position of the spine or too erect a position and sitting on the end of spine. These are the greater sources of trouble.
9. These produce other disturbances, as the fullness in the lower portion of lungs, some disturbances at times in the character of headaches, the variations at times as to the elimination, especially the alimentary canal, and an excess in activity at times of the kidneys and bladder but at other times sparse in quantities and activity. For, the pancreas also becomes involved.
10. In making for betterment of conditions, we would first have a general relaxing of the whole spinal system; not a correction attempted; beginning, however, in the upper dorsals and going downward, then in the cervicals, and then in the lumbar area.
11. After some two or three such relaxing treatments have been given, we would have a thorough colonic irrigation, scientifically given. Do use body temperature water, and use soda and salt in same, so as not to produce too great a drain or strain on the body. Use sufficient water for the injection that there is little mucous left in the colon.
12. Wait then for ten days, and have another colonic irrigation; this time purifying the whole colon until there is no indication of mucous in the stool. In the last rinse water for the injection use Glyco-Thymoline.
13. Then begin with the thorough correction of the cerebrospinal system, and especially of those indications in the 6th dorsal, 1st, 3rd, and 4th cervicals and throughout the lumbar axis.
14. These will make for better conditions for the body.
15. Take precautions as to the diet.
16. Do include in the diet, about once a week, the Jerusalem artichoke. Use one about the size of a hen egg, or a little larger, once each week for at least four or five weeks. Cook the artichoke in Patapar paper, so that the juices that are loosened in cooking may be preserved and mixed with bulk of the artichoke when it is eaten, after it has been seasoned to the taste, this carries insulin the correct quantity for this body, if not taken oftener than indicated.
17. Keep away from white breads or combinations of white potatoes with spaghetti, macaroni, or with any cheese

products. No two of these should be taken at any one meal. Do have fowl and fish often in the diet; these never fried, however, but broiled, boiled, baked or the like.
18. Four times each day, about a half an hour before each meal and at bedtime, take an ounce to two ounces of grape juice stirred in one ounce of plain water (not carbonated water).
19. Keep up the osteopathic adjustments about twice a week for ten to twelve weeks; this giving about twenty-four adjustments, not including the three relaxing treatments to be given before regular corrections are begun.
20. Do these and we will bring better conditions for this body.
21. Ready for questions.
22. (Q) What produced the neuritis last winter in left hip and leg, and how may recurrence be prevented? (A) This came from poisons or pressures in those areas. If the eliminations are kept, and the poisons are eliminated, we should have little recurrence of these neuritic conditions.
23. (Q) What should be done for the sore, enlarged fingers? Is this arthritis? (A) This is the tendency from the pressure to the areas indicated that need to have correct circulation. This may turn to arthritis unless something is done about it. It is rather of a neuritic nature in the present, but do those things indicated as to diet, as to eliminations, and as to corrections indicated and we will correct all of these disturbances. It will take down the blood pressure, provided the diets are not disobeyed.
24. We are through with this Reading. Two copies to Self (one for the osteopath and for the one who is to give the colonic irrigation - Let us have the name and address of the one you choose.) Copy to Ass'n file " " Miss Goodall for indexing (If not on the market, Jerusalem artichokes may be obtained from John A. Salzer Seed Co., LaCrosse, Wisconsin, for a few cents a pound.)
