Born March 19, 1890, in Blue Hill, Nebraska. Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:35 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Ill.

1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane; giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes - unusual vibration - to connect with this body - '42 - '41 - '40 - periods of stress and anxiety - '39 - '34 - giving up - '27 - expectancies - what a peculiar pattern - '25.

3. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now called [3179] - (What do you mean - of these other records?)

4. In giving the interpretations of the records as we have them here, there is much from which to choose. There are many portions that might be interpreted in varied manners.

5. These we choose from the records here, with the desire and purpose that these suggestions may be applied in the experience of the entity; thus enabling the entity to better fulfill the purposes for which it entered this sojourn.

6. In choosing the activities in the earth plane, oft much depends upon that chosen by the entity. Oft much depends upon the environ others put about an entity.

7. Yet this still remains true; nothing may separate one from the love of the Father save self. For there comes, as to this particular entity, those periods when there must be the choice in material things, must be the choice even as to what constitutes loyalty, or even what constitutes virtue in its broader sense. And patience the entity has had to learn the hard way.

8. These, however, should be signposts or directions for the entity in these periods when there is needed in the earth

those who will constantly remind the young of their obligations to God and to man, and to remember that the greater service to the Father-God is the manner in which one treats the fellow man, for this is the manner in which one treats one's Maker.

9. This in itself should convince anyone of the senselessness of denominationalism, and how hard for the entity to give it up! Yet the growth has gradually come. For God is not a respector of persons, it is true. Neither does He care in the way that individuals do for a name, or as to what people will say. Truth is truth and it convicteth the soul. The soul alone is eternal. All that is of the earth-earthy is carnal and passeth away.

10. In analyzing the urges manifested and latent in the experience of this entity, while there is something of the pattern in the astrological aspects, the entity has changed these so that little would be according to the common terms and mostly would the entity say, "Circumstance has done it."

11. Keep the faith, knowing that the Creator of the heavens and the earth also giveth thee light and understanding. For, all that is good proceeds from God, that is good; and has been manifested to men through the Son in the earth. His ways are not past finding out to those that seek His face.

12. In the material things we find influences from Mercury, Venus, Jupiter; with many of those differences brought by Saturn.

13. Don't let self become weary of well-doing because of hindrances or of what people will say about thy associates. With whom did thy Master associate?

14. In the care of self, selflessness is great. But be more mindful of the little niceties about self and you will find a pride in self - not a false pride. But as nature manifested in its Maker, it does the best it can with what it has and looks the most beautiful with what it has to do with. Thy body, too, is indeed the temple of the living God. Keep it beautiful. Be mindful of the care of same, and you - too - will think more of it. So will there be more of the abilities to be conscious of His presence meeting with thee in thy temple; forget it not.

15. As to the appearances in the earth - these have been and are under the influence of Mercury, Jupiter and Venus - the universal love that has prompted the consciousnesses of the entity in its relationships to the world as a whole. Yet in self it has varied far from same in the present. Not that the entity is unmindful of such but it has allowed self to drift.

3179-1 Page 3

16. In Mercury we find the high mental abilities, the ability as a linguist.

17. We find in Venus the greater influence that bears upon the entity in the present - its mindfulness of the care of those mentally or physically in preparing to meet emergencies.

18. Hence the willingness oft for the entity to intervene for others even to its own discomfort. As has been indicated, patience is the greater virtue, but patience may seem and may become lacking as a virtue when one's patience and one's goodness is trampled upon by appetites of body and mind. Thus we find that quite a variation has arisen in the experience of the entity to its ideal - as a home, as a companion. Beware that it does not become a stumblingblock to thyself.

19. The appearances in the earth have been quite varied, but very far apart; thus quite a variation as to the latent and manifested urges that arise in the emotions of the body.

20. For, the body is emotional, and yet the abilities to control same have been and are a part of the unfoldment or the development of a consciousness, the awareness of universal consciousness through the activities necessary.

21. Hence the labors of the experience in the present are good. Keep them. Remain with them. Use them not to self, no; but as the opportunities to glorify the Lord, even as ye did in the experience before.

22. For, during the period when the Master walked in the earth, the entity was a hired mourner. At those periods when Lazarus was raised from the tomb the entity came in contact with and knew the presence of the Master Himself.

23. Thus is the gift of the entity in preparation of the home; not so much of self as for others, in making a home for those on special missions in their experience in the earth.

24. The name then was Ruhel. The entity became acquainted with the Holy Women, during those periods preceding and following the Crucifixion, when the entity was drawn closer to the mother of Zebedee's children and the other Mary.

25. These brought an experience that has been and will be far-reaching in the earth, as to the conviction that lies deep in the heart as to the voice within. Hold to same. For, He has ever promised, "I stand and knock - open, and I will enter." Ye must open, ye must desire, ye must wish for, ye must try; and He will do His part. Seek not to do His part but do thine own.

26. Before that the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during those periods when there were activities in

3179-1 Page 4

separating the peoples from the southland from those coming in from the western lands or from the isles of the sea.

27. And the entity was a priestess. And at times in the present many will call the entity tyrannical in its control of groups over which it may be put in charge but far from same is the purpose of the entity. But temper all of thy judgments with mercy. Judge only as ye would be judged. For, remember the prayer is ever; "Lord, forgive, even as I forgive others." For, without that tempering, there is little conviction as to the need of patience. For that which we hope for with patience we wait on the Lord. Be still, oft, if one would see His glory.

28. The name then was Zekah.

29. Before that the entity was among the chosen people journeying to the Holy Land.

30. The entity was among, close to, the sons of Korah, that one who rebelled; not Korah, but the son of Korah - Zipohar.

31. The entity in the present is again meeting self in the condemning of others, for, again the pattern is the withdrawal from companionship because of unbelief, unfaithfulness.

32. In that experience the entity suffered in mind, gained in principle and in the patience that will yet be tried as by fire.

33. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land during those periods when there were the preparations for those activities that followed the service in the Temple of Sacrifice.

34. Here again, as in care of those in preparation for special service, the entity may administer to the needs physically and mentally of those disturbed in one manner or another. Hence keep the faith. The name then was Ar-Ar-At-El.

35. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, - these depend upon the ideal and purpose of the entity, and the willingness to submerge self, the willingness to consider self in body and in mind - as to care for, to be physically, mentally, spiritually a channel of blessings to, others.

36. Do that. As a housekeeper, as an attendant in hospital, as one caring for the needs of those in many ways that are on special missions or doing special service, the entity may find the greater outlet.

37. Find thy self, and know thy ideal may be set in Him who has said that there is no death to those who believe in Him as the resurrection.

38. Ready for questions.

3179-1 Page 5

39. (Q) Should I keep on with the type of work I am doing? (A) As has been indicated.

40. (Q) Would it be well to stay in the same place? (A) Be well to stay in the same place.

41. (Q) Would it be a kindness to my husband and myself to get a divorce? If so how soon? (A) As to divorce, is one question. As to being apart and not dependent upon the other nor interfering with the problems one of the other is something else. Choose thou. Any withdrawal entirely is the denial of obligations. Obligations are not set aside merely by denial. But thy usefulness one to another has passed.

42. (Q) What caused my marriage to fail? (A) It had failed before you began. These are karmic conditions. The partner didn't measure up as well as thou hast.

43. (Q) What characteristics do I need to improve to help me to live more fully each day? (A) The little niceties of self, as ye like to see in others. Practice all you preach. Never ask anyone to do that you don't do yourself. Do the things that bespeak of thy body, of thy mind, being a channel to the glory of God ever. Thinking of thy words, thinking of thy activities, thinking of thy thoughts about others as being messengers, as being channels, as being those things (which if crystallized into things) would be blessings to someone. Thus thy life will grow more beautiful; you will become more necessary. It is when one realizes one's need, and the need in others, that self is able - through the grace of God - to supply; through becoming the more humble and selfless. Thus may the light of the Christ-Consciousness shine through. THEN one becomes great indeed. For even as thou in the pattern before this mourned; while as a pattern, He mourned with those who wept and rejoiced with those who rejoiced. Do thou likewise - for His sake.

44. (Q) Is it well to keep my younger daughter, [...], with me in college or would she do better to go into business now? (A) It is well for the present, for at least another year. Let those things that be, with the turmoils as to come, in the next eighteen months to two years be settled. And she needs thy guiding light as well as she may be a lamp unto thee.

45. (Q) Would I do well to continue with my music? (A) It is that which spans the distance between the sublime and the ridiculous, between the finite and the infinite. Keep the music, for it is oft a help to thee to quell the storms of life.

3179-1 Page 6

46. (Q) Will I find another companion or will I earn my own living the rest of my days? (A) Whose is the silver and the gold of the earth? Earn same rather by living such a life that He may lend to thee. For those who are endowed with worldly goods are debtors indeed to the Divine. The misuse of same is that that leadeth to the hard way. For, as has been given, straight and narrow is the way. Those that seek Him may find it, but it is hard for those that possess this world's goods to give it to the poor, and yet such are the poorer of the two. As to whether a companion - depends upon what is thy ideal. What is His law pertaining to same? Rather live that He may lend to thee indeed.
