4. (Q) Is there a cure for my prostate trouble? (A) As we find, this disturbance might or would be materially aided by the use of the hot water treatment as may be had through the use of the machine that pumps water in and out. Here, it would be used, of course, through the rectal area. It will be found to be most beneficial and will be much preferable to the operative measures or the more severe caustic measures.
Use, then, the Elliot Machine that would relieve these tensions. Not all in the first, but gradually raise the temperature - in the treatment - to quite a high degree. This will not be painful but will relieve tensions and destroy those disturbing conditions.
5. (Q) What is recommended as a permanent cure for my hemorrhoids? (A) Use an injection of oils prepared in this manner: To one ounce of Glycerin add two drops of Carbolic Acid. Mix these well, then add to three ounces of Usoline or Nujol. Use this in a child's syringe to inject into the rectal area. This will be found to relieve those tensions and irritations where the swelling in portions of the rectal area, and even on the sphincter centers and folds. Use this about twice to three times each week. It is not necessary to inject all of this quantity at once - a tablespoonful for each injection should be sufficient.
6. (Q) What should be done about my eyes and teeth, both of which are causing trouble? (A) Local attention is needed for the teeth; the gums will need treating. Use any good cleanser - this will help.
These applications suggested will also help the eyes, for

the greater trouble with the eyes is a reflex condition from the prostate and the rectal disturbances, as combined with bladder and kidneys. These improved, the eyes should improve also. The use of the head and neck exercise regularly will also help the eyes.
7. (Q) What should be done for the double hernia? (A) Let's get these other conditions corrected first, Continue to use the support until we have changed these conditions, and it may require operative measures.
Do these things indicated and we will have better conditions for this body of [3190].

The Elliott Machine is manufactured in Detroit, Michigan, but should be used by someone in your city. Some years ago this machine was suggested for a man [576] in Dayton - with prostate trouble - who was finally able to get the treatments from a Dr. Shroyer of that city, after having had the Miami Valley Hospital refuse to give him the treatments as they considered them merely an experiment. However, he got remarkable results from Dr. Shroyer's treatments, and reported that Dr. Shroyer had also treated other prostate conditions with the Elliott Machine with good results. I hope you can find a physician in Columbus who operates this machine.)
