Born around December 20, 1887 or 1888, in New York City. Time of Reading 4:10 to 5:00 P. M. Eastern War Time. New York, N.Y.

1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the records here - December 22, 1888 - [3211].

3. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, from these we choose that which if applied in the present experience of the entity may bring those abilities for the better fulfillment of the purposes for which the soul-entity entered this experience.

4. Few have we had with the records in the earth as this entity. For the entity was a priest in an experience in the earth, and should never be far from these activities.

5. We find there are those urges latent and manifested in the personalities and the individuality of this entity.

6. Personalities in the material plane arise from the application of the entity's urges in earthly sojourns. Individualities arise from what an entity would or does about the entity's ideal in a material experience or sojourn in the earth.

7. And here we will find these personalities and individualities well demonstrated in the activities of the entity. While individuality and personality here may vary at times one with another, when the individual makes the personality of the divine manifested in the personality of the entity, and the individuality of the entity becomes one with the personality of God, we will find the attaining to

3211-2 Page 2

that same experience as attained in the Holy Land.

8. We find urges latent and manifested in Mercury, Saturn, Mars, Jupiter and Venus.

9. One of high mental, material capacities and abilities, given to the ability of writing - especially thesis on subjects pertaining to whatever the entity might apply itself indirectly.

10. Thus the entity always is finding in self that justification for the stand or position he may take. Not necessarily argumentive but definite as to the entity's own construction of that the entity may apply in a definite direction. Neither is this necessarily the complete conviction of the entity, for it changes from experience to experience.

11. In Saturn we find varied changes as to environs through the experiences in the earth, changes of a definite nature brought about by antagonism in one direction or another with individual sources or individual personalities. These have been apparent in this material experience as well as in other sojourns.

12. One definitely given to those things pertaining to a universal consciousness. Thus in any direction in which the entity may choose to be argumentative or active, the entity will find the ability at least materially, mentally or spiritually, to justify that stand taken. These may not all be cooperative or coordinated. The entity must learn indeed to understand that pronouncement, "Know, O Israel, the Lord thy God is one Lord." These, then, are body, mind, soul. Spirit, mentality, physical conditions - these are all a part one of the other. They grow or deteriorate according to the manner in which those activities or ideas or mental concepts or precepts are coordinate. For as given, body, and mind and soul are the finite expressions of Father, Son and Holy Spirit; time, space and patience. All of these are one when they are coordinative in their activity. When they are not they are as opposing influences. These, men use as ideas; never as ideals but ideas. Ideas and ideals are quite different. One arises from the infinite, the other from the finite.

13. In Venus we find beauty, love, home, kindness, patience. These are a part of the entity's innate being, just as we will find in that period of the greater expressions of the entity in the earth in a unison of purpose.

14. As to the appearances in the earth, not all may be indicated, but those that have that definite manner of bringing about the personality of the entity in the present.

15. Before this the entity was in the land of the present

3211-2 Page 3

nativity, being among those early voyagers to the land - among those of the crew of one Cabot, in the name then John Dejahn.

16. The entity was a seafaring individual. Hence water, great expanses of water, things having to do with the sea, people who go overseas, have much to do in the entity's experience in the sojourn in the earth today - as has been experienced, or may be experienced, the going over large bodies of water or over dividing lines of water, or boundary lines. For these have even been in the experiences as signs to the entity of the special journey over a body of water onto dry land.

17. In that experience the entity acted in the capacity as a helper to the ship's physician, or to those ill in body or that needed correction in their mental, as well as spiritual and physical needs.

18. Thus the entity is a spiritual advisor as well as being a physical and mental stimuli to those in need of physical, mental and spiritual activities.

19. Before that the entity was in the French land, during those periods of the Crusades.

20. In the early portion of that activity the entity was quite an active influence; finding much that would cause the entity to analyze those promptings of individuals in their zealousness for a cause of this or that nature in their material activities.

21. These experiences brought to the entity those definite ideas pertaining to things of the mind, or unusual phenomena in the experiences of individuals.

22. The name then was Jules Gharndajaharns. The entity was disturbed much mentally, spiritually, yet aided in the activities that brought about material and mental gains to many people in their application of tenets for and against definite urges prompted by overzealousness for a cause in another land.

23. Hence the interest of the entity in varied lands and the manner in which they meet varied problems. Few individuals understand, innately (not interpreting politically), the political factors in other lands as does this entity, when it chooses to discern or describe same.

24. Before that - the greater period of activity of the entity in the earth - the entity was among the sons of Eleazer, and of the priesthood; among those born in the wilderness and one taken when journeying over Jordan. Of this the entity will never lose hold entirely, in its experiences in the earth.

25. The entity was active when setting up the settlings of

3211-2 Page 4

the land, in the care for the mouths of individuals who for forty years had tasted little other than manna or the flesh of quail. But with the variations in the diets, this became a study of the entity. And it may be said that among the children of Israel the entity was the first dentist, as would be called today, or one caring for the welfare of the peoples when they settled around Shiloh.

26. Hence as we find, an interest in diets, an interest in the spiritual things as manifested in the appearance just before the present sojourn as Dejahn - in those activities when there was the service in the Navy, or pertaining to water crafts.

27. The entity in that period was also interested in the character of water, the elements constituting same, those things soluble in water and those acting as an irritant or restrainer, or those causing through radiation those conditions in soft tissue of mouth, gums, throat or digestive tract.

28. Then in the name Ersebus [?], the entity excelled; not only in the administrations to the people in his abilities to care for his own group, but as a teacher, as an instructor.

29. Thus may the entity in the present contribute to that which may be a helpful influence or towards that which may aid others to be cared for in their own particular sphere of activity.

30. For, as will be indicated, those in Connecticut or New York would not require the same care of their teeth as those in Ohio or in Tennessee or Georgia. And those in other portions of the land would require other characters of treatment. As in the teeth, so in the mind, the vibrations, the products of the land are different. Those so oft described, with which the land flowed, to which the entity went, are too seldom a part of the diet of those that would be healed of those tendencies in their youth - milk and honey.

31. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land when there were those establishings of the tenets or truths as might be drawn from the activities in the Temple of Sacrifice.

32. The entity was among those that ministered in those services or activities.

33. Thus in the field of medical or physical applications for the benefit of the material and mental conditions in the experiences of individuals, the entity may excel.

34. The name then was Erst-Elium.

35. As to the abilities of the entity, that to which it may

3211-2 Page 5

attain and how:

36. First, find thyself, thy relationships to that one force, to that impelling influence which has contributed to the individual's application of those tenets and truths that create greater influences for the fellow man.

37. For the purpose of each soul's entering to make - through its own effort, by the grace and purpose of the first cause - to make the world better for the entity's having been in same.

38. Then study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman not ashamed; stressing those evidences in thine own experience that are universal in their application; keeping self from condemning others. For as ye forgive, so may ye be forgiven.

39. Ready for questions.

40. (Q) Shall I continue with my research work with dimethyl cellulose, sodium bicarbonate and salt solution? (A) Continue with same. This will not be for a universal use, as indicated, but for the greater portion - yes.

41. (Q) Having a patent for the exclusive use of dimethyl cellulose in a tooth dentifrice for commercial purposes, with which I am experimenting in combination with sodium bicarbonate and salt in a jell form using it as a tooth cleanser - could limestone in solution be added to this combination? And would it be beneficial as a cleanser of the teeth? Would it be good as a commercial dentifrice in this form? (A) Not adding to the abilities of a cleansing agent, but adding to the soft tissue for a builder-upper, as might be called, to the gums and soft tissue of mouth and throat, it would be well.

42. (Q) Dimethyl cellulose foams like soap. What other product or products would be beneficial to use in a dentifrice, either in liquid or toothpaste form that would act as a cleansing agent in this cellulose combination? (A) The more perfect would be in liquid, or in condensed form the toothache bark.

43. (Q) Would the dimethyl cellulose with sodium bicarbonate and salt be sufficient to make a successful product? For cleaning of the teeth? (A) Adding the toothache bark we will have near a perfect product for the correction of many of the ills of the gums. This would require the product being prepared in the correct proportions, to each quantity of an ounce or two ounces - as might be the manner in which such would be prepared. The toothache bark solution would be made in the strength of hydrometer four and this would be added in the proportions

3211-2 Page 6

of one part to three parts of the others.

44. (Q) What is the best form and what receptacle is best to distribute this tooth dentifrice to the public? (A) In the tube form would be best.

45. (Q) Since dimethyl cellulose and methyl cellulose are one and the same, and I having dimethyl cellulose patented to be used as a dentifrice, shall I legally try to prohibit the Teel Company and others that use methyl cellulose from using same in their products? (A) No. For this is a universal product. In the days of the early settling in the Holy Land, did you prohibit those people or require or ask only certain people to use the salt and soda in the cleansing? Is it right, then, to prohibit thy brother from using such a product in the present?

46. (Q) To whom shall I go for the purpose of marketing this tooth dentifrice? (A) First it would be well if the group were organized individually. As the product shows itself, this will then be absorbed by other products. Lambert Company would be well to consider, or similar companies or organizations in this same vicinity.

47. (Q) At what price should it be sold? (A) Thirty-five to fifty cents.

48. (Q) Should the dental society receive some financial interest for the purpose of doing research work? (A) Not necessarily, but choices can be made in the various organizations or groups - as in the Detroit or Pennsylvania or Nebraska dental organizations. These will be found to be among the strongest.

49. (Q) What interest is it advisable for me to give Mr. [...] my chemist who aids me in this work? (A) Consider him as yourself. If conditions were reversed, what would you ask for? That's what you should give him.

50. (Q) What is the best means of pulp testing a tooth for vitality to see whether the nerve is alive or inflamed or dying off? (A) Hot and cold air in a bulb.

51. (Q) Where and under what conditions should ultra-violet ray be used in dentistry, and how? (A) Ultra-violet rays should be used in dentistry when there are indications of any form of Riggs' disease. It should then be used about half a minute on the back of the neck, and the jaw. And you'll have it!
