At home, about Time of Reading 1 mi. from 10:40 to 10:50 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Penna.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes.
3. As we find, much of the weakness in the body is from the general drain and the overexercising or from the body driving itself when it should have been taking things much more easily. Through the accumulations in lymph segregation, or the forming - not of a growth but a lymph tumor, there has been caused a great deal of distress - that is a general source of irritation to the body, that causes it to tire easily.
4. With the present conditions, unless these were to become much more serious, we wouldn't advise an operation, but, if there are those tendencies for the body to overtax itself too much and there becomes temperature, the least temperature in the body - then there had better be operative measures and quickly.
5. But, as we find, there should be administered the Glyco-Thymoline Packs. Use two to three thicknesses of cotton cloth or toweling, sufficient in size and length to reach almost half way around the body - or from about the central portion of the spine around the left side to the central portion of the body. Saturate the cloth in the Glyco-Thymoline and apply when there is the heaviness or pain.
6. It would be well to apply over this salt heat - that is, heavy coarse salt, heated, and put in a bag so that it would lie flat and cover the area of at least two to three hands-breadth. Lay this over the area where there is the greater pain. Do this whenever there is disturbance.

7. This should cause a dissipation, especially if there is used occasionally the Violet Ray machine (hand machine, bulb applicator), over the spine more than over the affected area. Commence close to the head, at the first cervical and go down to the end of the spine. Come down either side of the spinal system and then gently over the abdomen. Take about five minutes to give the treatment over each area, making about twenty minutes in all.
8. In the diet, we would keep plenty of the leafy vegetables; not too much meats at any time. Fish and fowl might be taken but not other meats to any great extent.
9. These we should keep up, and we will find better conditions.

11. (Q) What has caused my health to vary from a very good to a miserable condition, happening about every 3, 4 or 5 yrs., the action being slow in the decline, also slow in the recovery? (A) This is from the general conditions existent at this period, partly; though it is later in the experience for this body than ordinarily. But these are the weakening effects from the glandular forces changing, as has been indicated by the very fact of this being a lymph tumor. Do the things indicated.
