1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: The body should be here! We have those impressions here of the body, and those disturbances at periods that vary according to activities in the body, [3231].

3. These disturbances as we find, while they bear a great deal of similarity to that ordinarily termed of an epileptic nature, are not true epileptic spasms. But, owing to injuries in the body and disturbances in the circulation, these reflect upon practically the same organs that are affected under epileptic tendencies. Hence if these are given the same type of treatments, in the main, we would have about the same results eventually.

4. These are conditions then, as we find them with this body:

5. In sometimes back, at the particular period of the menstrual flow, there was an injury to the coccyx end of spine. With the pressures produced and the resulting conditions caused a lesion - or adhesion and lesion - in the activity of the organs of pelvis. This same slowing of circulation, produced by this injury to the portions of the body functioning, brought on an accumulation in the lower portion of the lacteal duct area.

6. Thence we find the combinations of the withdrawal of the body from the regular activities of same. And these becoming strained, produced a great tension through those

3231-1 Page 2

areas of the body that brought about the first loss of consciousness, or a stiffening of the muscles and nerves of the head and neck, contraction of the sympathetic nerve system; especially in the areas of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cervical to the rest of the facial muscles and nerves, and a relaxing of those in the lower part of the torso.

7. These activities in the present have precipitated conditions that brought about the changes necessary or apparent.

8. Hence we find there should be a correction, osteopathically, of the subluxations that exist through the coccyx, the sacral and lumbar areas, and the relieving of those tensions in the lacteal duct area by the application of Castor Oil Packs followed by massage.

9. Then, this would be the order of the treatments:

10. Twice each week, say Tuesdays and Thursdays, have the osteopathic correction in the areas indicated, followed by the hot Castor Oil Packs over the lacteal duct area. When the Pack is removed (after about thirty minutes or longer - preferably an hour) give the body a special osteopathic massage in the areas indicated. At the same time make suggestions to the body, while these treatments are being given, as to the beneficial conditions to be arrived at from the state of mind, the state of impulse that should be given to the body while being treated for the general conditions; in eliminating poisons, in caring for the body through the periods, and the general activities afterwards.

11. On the evenings following the treatments take internally, just before retiring one tablespoonful of Olive Oil.

12. Do these.

13. Ready for questions.

14. (Q) What causes my eyes to be so glarry and glassy? (A) This is caused naturally from the lack of flow of juices from thyroids to the general activities of the body. It is necessary, then, that these properties be taken until an equal balance is created in the blood, the outer and the inner circulation.

15. (Q) Are the ultra-violet ray blood irradiation treatments I have once a month of any help to me? Should I continue them? (A) If the corrections are made osteopathically as we have indicated, this would be a great deal of help. Thus far there has been very little help - unless those conditions are straightened out or corrections made. It only stimulates for sudden reactions that don't coordinate.

16. (Q) I was under treatment for Undulant Fever last

3231-1 Page 3

summer. Did I have it and if so have I fully recovered from it? (A) There are those tendencies of being awakened, but not true Undulant Fever. Apparently this was more of a negative influence to the body.

17. (Q) I am beginning to have slightly sore knuckles and joints. What causes this and what can I do to prevent it? (A) This is from the lack of the chemical forces in the assimilations. Hence the necessity for the addition of vitamins B and B-1 to such areas.

18. (Q) Should I stop smoking cigarettes? (A) By all means. Do these things indicated.

19. We are through for the present. Two copies to Self - (one for the osteopath) Copy to Ass'n file " " Miss Goodall for indexing (9/22/43 GD's note: We would refer you to Dr. Lulu Irene Waters, 1707 Columbia Road, Washington, D.C. Dr. Waters has had considerable experience with following suggestions made in Mr. Cayce's readings, and is very cooperative. See directions [which were enclosed] for preparing Castor Oil Packs. Regarding your question as to the prevention of gray hair: The Readings have continually recommended the addition to the diet of the juice made from Irish potato peelings. Stew the peels of three or four potatoes in a little water and drink the juice, about twice a week. Also eat sea foods two or three times a week.)
