Time of Reading 10:35 to 10:50 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., New York.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3233].
3. As we find there are conditions of rather an unusual nature that affect the better physical functioning of the body. There are affectations through eliminating systems and their effect upon the sensory organism, especially as related to the eyes.
4. In the blood supply there are effects of this incoordination of the eliminating channels.
5. And in the upper cervicals and upper dorsal area we find the effect that the poison pressures there create upon the vision itself.
6. The general conditions of the body are low in resistance.
7. In the nervous system we find that portions are disturbed by an impoverishment of the supply of nutriment to the eyes. In the alimentary canal and the activity of the circulation between liver and kidneys we find that causing the disturbance which produces this violent rash over portions of the body at times.
8. The inactivity of the kidneys and the disturbance in the manner of eliminations, or secretion for eliminations in the liver area, cause this break in the lymph and in the channels through which poisons are eliminated from the system; through alimentary canal, through kidneys, through respiratory system.
9. These as we find have been of long standing. These will not easily respond, but we find that these applications which we will suggest may aid in making for better conditions of the body.
10. Prepare a compound in this manner to be taken

internally. To one-half gallon of distilled or rain water, add: Wild Cherry Bark.......................4 ounces, Toothache Bark, (Prickly Ash Bark).....1 ounce, Buchu Leaves...........................1 dram, Podophyllin..........................1/2 grain. Reduce by slow boiling (only in an enamel or glass container) to one quart. Then add four ounces of grain alcohol in which there has been cut two drams of Tolu.
11. The dose of this would be a teaspoonful three times each day, before each meal.
12. In the diet - refrain from too much starches. Only use whole wheat bread or rye bread, or that made from graham flour.
13. Lots of carrots. A great quantity often of beets and beet tops; not beets that have been pickled, however - these should be fresh. Plenty of green beans, lentils, cabbage - the red variety.
14. Not a great deal ever of bulbs; that is of dried beans or the like.
15. Onions, leeks and the like should be taken. Meats should consist only of fish, fowl or lamb.
16. Do keep the eliminations well, using colonic irrigations often.
17. After about half the quantity has been taken of the compound (not before), begin having adjustments osteopathically made especially in the upper dorsal and through the cervical area; coordinating the 9th dorsal and lumbar and sacral areas with such corrections.
18. When the full quantity has been taken of the properties for the correction of the circulation, and at least twelve osteopathic treatments have been administered, we would give further instructions.
19. Ready for questions.
20. (Q) Will the spot in my left eye disappear? (A) This will depend upon the response made, and it may be better indicated from the reactions after these treatments suggested are followed through.
21. (Q) What causes the joints to become inflamed - what treatment will help? (A) The poisons not eliminated and these things suggested are to aid in stimulating eliminations. Do these things and we will find there should be bettered conditions for this body.
22. We are through for the present.
