R E A D I N G
Born February 21, 1890, in Grove City, Minn. Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:25 P. M. Eastern War Time.
1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [3268].
3. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them here, these we choose with the desire and purpose that this information may be a helpful experience for the entity; enabling the entity to better fulfill those purposes for which it entered this sojourn.
4. Many are the virtues of this body. Many are the opportunities. Use them to the glory of the Father and to the honor of self. Do not reverse this order.
5. In analyzing the records here, we find these as some of those that might be a composite analysis of the expressions in the earth and during the interims, as reflected in the characteristics of the entity:
6. One who is ever fastidious about its dress and yet capable of making a little go a long ways. These are outstanding characteristics in the experience of the entity.
7. There are the abilities also to interest self in the welfare of others and to make the welfare of others a contributing cause to the welfare of a community, county, town or city, or even a state.
8. Thus the abilities of the entity run in those lines of creative influence as may be seen from Mercury, or there are the high mental abilities of the entity. Keep these ever

attuned with the divine, and put stresses or emphasis on the spiritual as well as the mental attainments. For, knowledge without judgement may easily become sin. Understanding without spirituality may too soon become egotism.
9. As to personalities indicated from the astrological sojourns, or the consciousness of the entity in realms other than the earth - we find that Mercury, Venus and Jupiter are outstanding; though Mars and Saturn are in the offing at times. Thus we have changes. Thus we have a high mental ability of the entity, as indicated in the ability as a writer, as an authoress or the like; the ability to contribute to the welfare of a community.
10. Thus the entity might be a good campaign manager for any individual having not an axe to grind but a mission in a community or in an activity of state.
11. The influence in or through Venus may become very disturbing. For the entity is quite demanding in its affections, but gives all it demands of others. This may be good or it may be bad, dependent upon what the disappointments in others bring to the entity in its experience. For, disappointments as indicated in Saturn have been and will be a part of the experience.
12. Jupiter gives the universal consciousness and the ability for work or activity in a helpful force for individuals not fortunate - or, as might be said, those in the realms of the unfortunate. Thus the entity has the ability to do welfare work, or to become active in those directions where reform is needed in a community or among certain types or groups of individuals.
13. In Mars we find the affability as well as the very active service of the entity in its associations or connections with others. These as we find are well. Most fortunate, then, are those who may count the entity as a friend.
14. As to the activities of the individual entity in the earth's plane - these as we find are varied. While not all of the appearances may be indicated, these show the variation or the manner in which the entity may adjust itself in many undertakings that would have to do with local, national or even international associations and affairs. Whether this be in an official capacity or as one directing through the ability of the entity to use rules and regulations to control varied activities, may be determined by the entity itself - as in the experiences before this.
15. For, before this the entity was in the land now known as New York, in the Mohawk Valley area, during the early settlings there.

16. The entity was associated with and the companion to the miller - in those periods when there were combative forces between the warring elements of the natives and the other people who used the Indians as a ruse to obtain an influence in those areas.
17. The entity then had a large family. And some of those are again among those of its own family.
18. The entity acted in the capacity of the mother, the director - not only as a teacher but taking care of many of those circumstances that arose through those periods of seige, as well as areas of actual hostilities among the groups in the individual neighborhood.
19. There in the name Marcella Field, the entity contributed to the welfare of the land, to the direction and education of people; and the influence is still felt among many of the people of that particular area.
20. For, good lives on. Only evil dies and withers as it is left uncultivated. Good that is cultivated grows and yields some thirty, some sixty, some an hundredfold. For, it is ever that to which each soul would attain.
21. Before that the entity was in the Norse land when there were the activities with other groups in the settlings of other lands.
22. The entity was a leader, among those that were warriors. In the name then Erichsen the entity led those forces against the Huns and those elements that were opposed to that activity for freedom of activity.
23. Thus in the present experience of the entity there is sought free speech as well as freedom of purpose.
24. Before that the entity was among those people journeying from bondage in the Chaldean land to the rebuilding of the City, the temple to the living God.
25. There the entity was active as an aid to Zerubbabel; not as a priest but rather as a guide. For the entity had been a hunter and thus aided in carrying on those activities through even hostile lands when the great amount of booty or of things had to be cared for in order to make the various offices of the priest become again effective. The entity acted in the capacity of taking care of these.
26. Thus the entity in the present may find itself oft in that capacity as one building or keeping funds for various propositions, or various conditions where these are to be used for the edification, the clarification, or as a helpful experience for those less fortunate than those contributing even themselves to such undertakings.
27. The name then was Ezarel.
28. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land during

those periods when there were activities pertaining to the reestablishing of the Priest as well as home building.
29. The entity then was among those purified in the Temple of Sacrifice and became, as it were, the mother of a large group dedicated for various offices throughout that period.
30. These were in those offices of education, art, the keeping of records, and those activities that made for purifying of land, of home, of the body itself.
31. Thus the entity has abilities in all of these directions. Yet we find that those pertaining to the edification through writing or activity pertaining to same, would be the fields of the greater service.
32. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, that to which it may attain and how:
33. First, analyze self and know thy ideal - spiritual, mental and material.
34. Then know the author of thy ideal, and let it be founded in the spirituality of the purpose of whatever may be the efforts. Then apply thyself in those directions, keeping the self unspotted from contamination.
35. Ready for questions.
36. (Q) Should I give my time to calling with my husband upon our people, to church work with young people, or to public speaking, or to writing, or what? (A) To writing, to aiding the young - but to writing principally. Here you will reach the more. Here will be the edifying for those activities indicated.
37. (Q) How should I divide my time? (A) Budget it; some for recreation, some for work, some for home. All of these have their place, to be sure.
38. (Q) How may I best help my husband? (A) In contributing to the help for others in the directions indicated, especially with the young people - where there is the hope of the world to be sure.
39. (Q) My sons, particularly [...] (who is flying for the Navy)? (A) Through counsel. This should have been begun long ago, as it was. Keep that counsel. And keep him in mind close to thee.
40. (Q) Should I continue a "Prayer Clinic" in Seattle? (A) By all means!
41. (Q) Has God placed any healing gift in my hands, or is that imagined? (A) This is oft a helpful influence. But the more healing is in the words by the pen.
42. (Q) Why this interest and desire to touch and pray for the sick? (A) As indicated in the experience of the entity in the

Temple of Sacrifice, in the preparations and care for individuals entering the Temple for service in the repairing of same.
43. (Q) Do I deceive myself? (A) Not often!
44. (Q) Does conception develop a soul, even if miscarriage prevents its coming to a physical birth? (A) No.
