This Psychic Reading given by Edgar Cayce at the office of the Association, Arctic Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va., this 16th day of October, 1943, in accordance with request made by the mother - Mrs. [...], new Associate Member of the Ass''n for Research and Enlightenment, Inc.

R E A D I N G

Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Penna.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes - these as we find are rather serious; part negligence and part karmic.

3. The injuries that were sustained by this body at the period of birth will remain with the body through this experience.

4. Greater help or care for the body may be administered by one sympathetic, caring for and administering to the physical needs of the body.

5. Later, there will be required operative measures - if there would be the maintaining even of soul and body here together; but in the present there is needed only massage and care.

6. Along the neck and spine, that there may be the better use of self, massage the body daily - from the base of the brain, back of the ears and base of the brain, downward. Use this combination of oils: Olive Oil...................2 ounces, Peanut Oil..................2 ounces, Lanolin (liquefied).........1 teaspoonful.

7. Later, when there has been some unfoldment or development, consider a brain surgeon's reactions to same. An X-ray will show the pressures existent there.

8. Eventually these pressures from the reflex centers of the brain may be removed by operative measures.

9. Do that.

11. (Q) Is the present treatment correct and should it be continued? (A) We would follow rather these suggestions made here, or add these, if there would be the betterment.
