Time of Reading 10:50 to 11:05 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Penna.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here (It's a beautiful home!), [3303].

3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions with this body. These have at times been called varied names, owing to the age or the advanced stages of same. But the condition here arises from pressures that exist in relation to those changes in the glandular activity of the body. With these pressures of long standing, and gradual impoverishment there has been the inability for the proper digestive forces, through the lack of supply in the assimilating system, in the glands of the digestive forces - or in the duodenum itself proper, and in the glands related to the adrenals and those that supply the sugar content for the body.

4. The combination of these we find causing impoverishment, then, in the circulation, in the giving way of the nerve impulse reactions.

5. Thus the body becomes forgetful, absent-minded, unable to recall. There is not the reflex in the white and gray matter. Thus these would eventually cause senility to the body, unless there are measures taken to supply new energies.

6. These, then, are the reactions taking place, as we find.

7. The organs we find very good.

8. In the glands and in the assimilating system we find effects from conditions existent in the 9th dorsal and from and to the end of the spine - some bad pressures exist there.

9. Then, in making corrections - we would first have a series of at least three or four osteopathic corrections for this body by Boden [C. Haddon Soden, D.O.]. These should be

3303-1 Page 2

particularly from the ninth dorsal to the end of the spine. The first two or three of these should be wholly relaxing and not stimulating treatments at all.

10. After this first series of osteopathic treatments, leave these off and begin using the Wet Cell Appliance carrying Gold - in the proportions of one grain to each ounce of distilled water.

11. The strength of the Appliance should be; to the gallon and a half of distilled water: Copper Sulphate.................1 1/2 pounds, Sulfuric Acid, C.P..................1 ounce, Zinc................................3 drams, Willow Charcoal...................1/2 pound. Recharge the Appliance every thirty days. Renew the Gold Solution every fifteen days.

12. Make the attachments each day for thirty minutes, at a rest period for the body. The large plate, through which the Gold Solution passes vibratorially to the body should be applied to the umbilical and lacteal duct plexus, which - for this body - will be four fingers from the navel center to the right and three fingers up from that point. The small copper plate would be attached at the lower portion of the 9th dorsal.

13. Each day when removing the Appliance, give the body a thorough, thorough massage with this combination of oils: Olive Oil.......................2 1/2 ounces, Peanut Oil......................2 1/2 ounces, Lanolin (liquefied)...............1/2 ounce. Shake the solution and massage, all the body will absorb along the spine, over the body, across the diaphragm area.

14. Do these and we will find much bettered conditions for this body; not only a retarding of this disintegration in nerve and blood supply but a replenishing and a building back to better conditions for this body.

15. After the second or third period of using the Appliance, - this is, after sixty to ninety days of using the Appliance daily - we would then have another series of osteopathic adjustments.

16. Keep a well balanced diet, especially through the winter having plenty of the vitamins A and D; also - occasionally B-1, or niacin. It would be well to use these to re-enforce the regular foods. Avoid hog meat or beef. Have plenty of sea foods and fowl. These should be the principal meats, if

3303-1 Page 3

meats are taken at all. Beware of mixtures in vegetables. Use at least three of those that grow above the ground to one that grows under the ground.

17. Beware of carbonated drinks.

18. Milk, cocoa, malted milks, ice cream and ices - these we would take.

19. Exercise as much in the open as practical for the body, and have as much social life as fits with the other obligations of the body.

20. We are through with this reading. Two copies to Husband (one for Dr. Soden) Copy to Ass'n file " " Miss Goodall for indexing (GD's note: See article [which was enclosed] explaining theory of the Wet Cell Appliance; also sheet of directions to be sent to Mr. A. M. Godfrey, 2709 Lafayette Blvd., Norfolk, Va., who can make up this Appliance according to specifications in your individual case. Be sure to send this copy to Mr. Godfrey when ordering, so that there will be no delay, as each Appliance is made to order.) )
