Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Mo. (Physical Suggestion)
1. GC: Yes, as we find, there is a complication of disturbances that are the sources and the results of the conditions preventing the better physical functionings with this body.
2. EC: It may be said, then, that these conditions come under two classifications - the results of disturbances, and the sources or causes of the disturbance. For, there has long since been a subluxation in the coccyx end of the spine. This has gradually caused deflections of energies, activities, in certain centers and ganglia along the cerebrospinal nerves, as to cause the organs of assimilation and digestion to become involved. These involvements have left their effects upon the circulation in the form of toxic poisons, as well as poisons that have been picked up by the emunctory and lymph circulation. So, these become the effect, and oft applications have been made for the effects created and not the sources or causes.
3. At times, even under the distresses, there has been added too great a quantity of alkalines, under the distresses of cold or acidity (for, cold is acidity). When there is an unbalancing between these, it becomes either pleurisy or pneumonia. These conditions have brought some distress to almost every portion of the body at times. Gradually they are gaining more bold on the locomotory centers, or the extremities, where the circulation becomes less and less, - as in feet and ankles, as in the wrist and elbow, shoulder blades at times, and at other times the head - when there is a great deal of pressure upon the organs of the sensory system. The body will have trouble at times with eyes, at others with ears, or both; at others with the speech or vocal chords and at others with the olfactory nerves - or the sense of smell and the like. At times even, all of these may be affected.
4. These are poisons. These are the drosses in the system

from poor eliminations and all begin with the deflection of energies, breaking of coordinations in the areas of the cerebrospinal and sympathetic nerve system.
5. With these congestions, to be sure, there are periods when the liver, lungs, heart and kidneys become involved. As yet we do not find organic disturbance in any of these central organs, but a great deal of functional disorder, and these are suffering under such distresses.
6. As we find, to aid this body it will require a great deal of persistence, a great deal of patience and persistence may be repeated - if there would be brought any great material help for the body.
7. First, we would begin with a systematic period of hydrotherapy treatments. There will be periods when it will appear that these treatments are causing even more distress than help for the body, but do be persistent in getting the body cleansed.
8. These hydrotherapy treatments, practically every week, should include a Fume Bath carrying Tincture of Iodine. Put at least forty drops of Tincture of Iodine, full strength in the pint of water that would be boiling under the body while it is in the Cabinet Bath; so that the Fumes and vapors may settle over the body.
9. One day before this Fume Bath is given, take internally two drops of Atomidine in half a glass of water before the morning meal. The next day while taking the Cabinet Bath in the cold water that should be taken to keep the body perspiring, put two drops of Atomidine. Drink lots of water through that period.
10. Then have a thorough rubdown afterward, being massaged with this combination of oils: Olive Oil......................2 ounces, Peanut Oil.....................2 ounces, Lanolin (liquefied)..........1/4 ounce. This should be massaged especially along either side of the spine and over the limbs, the hips, the knees, the feet. This should be very slowly but very methodically and very thoroughly done. Take at least forty-five to sixty minutes to give such a massage.
11. Do not attempt to make corrections at first.
12. Do have a colonic irrigation each week that these Fume Baths are taken, and have at least three or four of such treatments.
13. THEN have a good osteopathic treatment that will make corrections in the coccyx end of the spine, in the 4th

lumbar, in the 6th dorsal, the 3rd cervical. Have these corrections twice each week. Do not have the Fume Baths during this period of treatments.
14. Following each osteopathic treatment, oil the body good (not massage but oil) with the same compound previously used for massage, and wrap the body in an electric blanket so that it sweats good. Then, of course, have a good shower and rubdown. Then massage the body all over with cocoa butter, feeding the pores of the skin.
15. After eight or ten osteopathic treatments followed by the blanket sweats, leave these off - and then, after a week, commence all over again. And because you get better, don't think you can leave off the treatment until you have had at least two or three complete series. Then you'll be a lot better, if your mind is kept right and your abilities are used in creative, constructive thinking.
16. In the diet - keep a balance. Plenty of A and D vitamins, to be sure, especially through the winter.
17. Stay in the open air or in the sunshine (when the sun shines) as much as practical throughout the three to four months that these treatments would be followed.
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) I have trouble sleeping - (A) (Interrupting) Why wouldn't you with all these poisons stirring around like little devils throughout the body.
20. (Q) Also chronic bronchitis. (A) It has just been indicated as to how the organs of all the sensory forces are affected, especially throat, head and nose. Do what we have given.
21. (Q) I have considerable trouble with my arches or feet. (A) We have just been explaining. Do the things suggested, and we will get rid of these disturbing conditions.
