R E A D I N G
Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern War Time. Long Island, New York.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3341].
3. As we find, there are some complications. Many varied conditions in reflexes are apparent, yet there are specific disturbances here the correction of which may bring near to normal reactions - if there will be taken the time and the patience, and then the right mental attitude, for these corrections.
4. There is not merely the physical body to be considered, but when there are those severe attacks of gallstone colic, the physical body suffers so that little else is taken into consideration. But when we decline to accept just these physical disturbances and look more to the spiritual natures and abilities of the body itself, we will find these attitudes. For, as has oft been given, all illness is sin. Here we have had experiences in the life of the entity when and where resentments have choked up conditions within the mental self without ever satisfying self as to the spiritual attitude one should take, until we have the physical reactions in the life organ of the body through which the emotions - as well as the physical reactions - must act upon the whole being. Hence we have these conditions indicated here in the gall duct and in the gall bladder area, that form congestion through many portions of the body.
5. Then, as the physical applications are made, do apply self in mental and spiritual ways.
6. Physically, apply hot Castor Oil Packs over the gall duct and the whole caecum area, with heat. Use at least three to four thicknesses of flannel thoroughly saturated with Castor

Oil. Apply these one hour each day, or longer will not be amiss (it may be taken in the evening as the body rests) but at least one hour each day for three days in succession.
7. Then take internally a tablespoonful of Olive Oil. Rest from these for a week and then repeat. Do this at least four times.
8. And then have (not before) a good osteopath to relax the body thoroughly. Such a one may be had close at hand. Also drain the gall duct osteopathically.
9. After emptying the gall duct there will be required at least ten to twelve other osteopathic treatments.
10. Then, if precaution is taken as to the diet, physically we will find bettered conditions.
11. But during these periods - read the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th of John. Know that here ye are being spoken to. And apply that in thine own life, holding no resentments, believing and trusting in His divine presence. For, as He has given, if you will invite Him into thy mind He will come. And with His presence, of what may anyone be afraid? What may anyone have as an excuse for holding a grudge or for doubting anyone, though they fail you each day. Don't let thy tears be amiss. Let them be rather for thyself, that ye fulfill His wishes - in being patient, long suffering, kind, gentle to all. And ye will find that ye may make your life over again.
12. Ready for questions.
13. (Q) Is there any danger of passing on an eye condition such as mine to any children that I might have? Doctors have assured me that there is none, but I have always had a doubt in my mind concerning this. (A) No. When these activities with the glands here are changed, ye won't have much trouble with the other conditions of the eyes.
14. (Q) I am especially anxious to find some treatment for the removal of superfluous hair which is on my body, especially the face. I have tried Electrolysis but the growth is too profuse to be removed successfully in this manner. Can you advise treatment for this condition? (A) Better be glad you've got it, than to have other things that would cause a great deal more trouble by trying to remove same! But if ye pray right, live right, ask for it to be removed and ye may wash it off with lye soap.
15. (Q) Can you suggest a diet and treatment for overweight? Have been treated for an underactive thyroid gland for the past ten years but have never had too great success in controlling weight. (A) The grape juice diet.
