1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have those records here of that entity now known as [3348]. Quite a picture of this entity through the experiences in the earth. Once a wonderful Cossack and rode a horse!
3. In giving the interpretation of the record as we find them here, these we would choose with the desire and purpose that this information be applied by the entity in preparing and in meeting the possibilities and probabilities that will present themselves as opportunities for this entity.
4. Astrological aspects for this entity would mean little, save as to that indicated in Mercury and Mars. For each entrance to the material plane of the earth has been through either one or the other of these consciousnesses or these dimensions.
5. Thus we find an entity endowed, as might be called, with unusual abilities in certain lines of endeavor or work, and yet one who in many experiences has played important roles in other activities.
6. But in Mercury and Mars we find the student, the reader. In Mercury with Venus we find the abilities in organizations, in writing, interpreting, acting, in that direction also of a very marvelous interior decorator.
7. One very, very strongly given to detail. Hence most of
3348-1 Page 2
this that may be indicated for the entity may appear too brief, and it would be well if each of these appearances were to be given a full period of explanation - if this is desired to be used as the entity may find well interpreted in self.
8. But the abilities are in preparing or making unusual types of furniture, unusual types of settings for any form of a play, the interpreting of the settings necessary for any types or period of activities to be depicted. And we will see how and why, from the appearances in the earth.
9. For as indicated, the earthly experiences have been full, and many of them. While all will not be given here, these indicate how or why certain directions would be easily chosen by the entity. But first let's begin with the first things first. The entrance of a soul-entity into the earth is not that it may glorify self. It may honor self in whatever application it may make of its abilities, but the glory is to be to the Creative Forces - God. Hence whether the entity chooses to apply self its abilities as a writer, as an interior decorator, as a director of stage or screen activities, requiring a great deal of work, let it ever be to the glory of the Creative Forces or God. And let there ever be applied that which is a creative or helpful experience for someone that the entity may aid and add to, contribute to, the good, the welfare of others; not materially alone but mentally and spiritually. Thus we will find that the entity may bring honor and a great deal of fame to itself in these directions.
10. As to the associations in the earth, we find:
11. Before this the entity was in the land of his present birth when there were the beginning of what we might call mansions when individuals began to spend enormous amount of money for decorations within their own homes.
12. The entity, as one Cecil Cattellette, acted in the capacity of supervisor preparatory to the creations used in the forms of decoration, draperies, finishings and furnishings in many of those homes in the early period in the city of its nativity.
13. Thus those abilities to depict, to describe, to see detail, to see color, to make harmony in lighting effects, are a part of the innate experience of the entity. Don't lose sight of what these are for. While oft these are to appeal (too oft) to the vanity of individuals, even the vanity may be turned to an appreciation of Creative Forces or God-likeness, because of the purpose for which these are prepared.
14. Before that the entity was active in those conditions
3348-1 Page 3
that brought a peoples of the east into associations with the Hun.
15. The entity then was an army officer, in the name Weskoreski, and what a dresser! in color, and in a great deal of ability as a swordsman, as a rider, as a leader in the abilities as an official quite loud-mouthed, though in quite the easy way.
16. The abilities to depict detail arise much from that period, the keenness of perception; not by eye alone by by "feel" or tone or tenor or vibration that arises from the alertness to which the entity applied self; not merely for material or self-protection but for a cause, with a soul, to which the entity gave itself through those experiences - in much of that land where such severe activities are now being waged.
17. Before that the entity was in the Indo-China land, in those periods when the city and the temples were decorated with Ivory and gold.
18. There the entity was a decorator and a close associate, yes a kinsman of the individual who was the queen in that particular period - one known in the special experience, for she is alive in the present as on who seeks or learns of such things, and is very lowly and very meek, and filling a very menial job in the present.
19. The entity chose rather that someone else would have the honor materially and self might be the individual to prepare the decorations and to be active in the architectural activities; the beauty of dress, the beauty of carriage, the beauty of the throne room itself, as well as the chambers of those of the royal family or those in authority. These were the love of the entity.
20. From these we may find abilities in staging, costuming or decorating special scenes for special visualizations of a special period or the like. These we find innate and may be applied in the entity by the analysis and the application of self in those directions.
21. Then the name was Sut-Sun.
22. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land when there were those activities with the return of the Priest to authority, the establishing of the Temple Beautiful - or the school of science, as would be called today.
23. The entity then was active in preparing the interior decorations for the halls. These were applied in such manners as to lend to the activities a contributing factor to the intents of the individuals as they prepared themselves for varied offices, both political and social, both economic and religious, and all the forms of activity.
3348-1 Page 4
24. Hence one who appreciates music, the abilities of a good dancer and a good judge of dancing, a good judge of voice, with a good voice itself. These are portions of the entity's innate and active influences in the present.
25. As to the abilities of the entity, then, first apply self in keeping, innately, manifestedly, spiritual purposes first; then in any of the fields indicated, especially staging or directing or costuming scenes - as a play or as moving pictures. In these the entity may excel. Do not sell self, though, for a mess of pottage.
26. Ready for questions.
27. (Q) I am planning a career of acting and directing motion pictures, as soon as the war allows. How do these aspirations fit into my life pattern? (A) As just indicated, this would be well, if the individual entity's ideals and purposes are spiritualized.
28. (Q) I am greatly distressed by the war and am practically a pacifist. What in my past incarnations would tend to sway me so? (A) In the experience with the Hun.
29. (Q) Could good be derived for others and myself by my interest in and practice of self-hypnosis, or the general subject of hypnotism? (A) This is far afield for this entity. There may be the interest, but we would not advise it for the entity itself. It may aid others. It is the desire to aid others, but there is too much ego, too much I AM - if the I Am is stressed in the correct emphasis - for hypnosis to be applicable in the experience of the the individual entity.
30. (Q) How may I find either an operator to start me, or a method to work by myself? (A) The application of self should be made as an active force first in costuming, or in those fields of that nature that are needed in the present, that will ever be needed, and then showing the abilities in the study and the direction.
31. (Q) How can I, as a Member of the Association, be of the greatest help? What active part may I take in this work? (A) First sell self on the purposes and ideals of the Association. If these do not answer to something within self, have nothing to do with it. Then, if these answer within self, apply them in thine own experience.
