1. GC: You will give the relations of this entity and the universe, and the universal forces; giving the conditions which are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life; also the former appearances in the earth plane, giving time, place and the name, and that in each life which built or retarded the development for the entity; giving the abilities of the present entity, that to which it may attain, and how. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [3355].

3. In giving an interpretation of the records as we find them here, there is much that may be chosen from the records as we find them. There is much of good. There is much that may be questioned. But we would minimize the faults and we would magnify the virtues. For there are opportunities here for the mental and spiritual development in cooperation with someone who may bring the material opportunities.

4. In analyzing such we find there are many channels through which urges may arise in the experience of this entity, not only as to the astrological prospects but the astrological aspects that have existed in the past. Thus we find in the activity of the entity indecisions at times. Yet these will be made very definite things if those expressions are chosen that exist in the present.

5. The astrological urges that do appear indicate the fact that there have been several returns to Mercury and Jupiter, Mercury and Jupiter. These give the indications often as to the mental abilities. The often outreasoning opportunities, becoming too conservative at times. The entity becomes too general at times in its approach to some object or some activity for the entity. But those that have been chosen thus far have only made for the opportunities. And it will

3355-1 Page 2

be well for these to be finished with certain definite ideas in mind, for the activities in the present should include a journalistic course. For, while the entity may not desire to remain ever in such, the building of the activities through Jupiter requires that the entity make the home; not the whole of a career, but the abilities of the entity to make a career and a home, and this can be said about few.

6. Thus we find that the entity will have to hold itself in restraint. But from the material appearances (from which the emotional forces of the body arise) this will be well; provided the body makes itself in the correct spiritual attitude through the next six months.

7. As to the urges arising from the appearances in the earth, these are quite varied. While not all, these indicate the present conditions and those that may exist through the application of self in definite directions for home building. In its application in building the home, have the home to self ever; never in those activities where there are those who may cause even any unpleasantness between the entity itself and the own companion. These should be sure for this entity, and while the activities of the entity should include journalism, it should be merely for the more conventional or the more social contacts. Or let it be with the idea of writing a good story, being independent, and then not worrying about 'em too much. Rather these abilities may be used as those channels that may set the entity in such shape as not to need much of other than the experiences in the material and mental applications of this entity.

8. As to the appearances in the earth:

9. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity, where the entity's activities brought discussions among many of those peoples because of the entity's attempts to placate or to change regulations and resolutions pertaining to the advice and counsel that might be given to those as to vocational guidance for those that were the nearer and dear friends of the entity.

10. Hence we find that the entity in some periods relies upon its own judgement, and at other times it draws almost wholly on what people will say. Rather would the injunction be given here to so live, so act, that you don't care what the other fellow thinks - for you are in accord, according to your own tenets or dictates within the consciousness of a creative force. So long as one holds that, lives it, one need never fear as to his social status or the relationships required to keep same in order in the experience of the entity.

11. Then the entity was known as Sarah Reynolds.

12. The entity gained, and in its applications to the young became active in school teaching in certain departments, and was one to whom most all of the young ladies came for counsel and advice.

13. Before that the entity was in the Arabian and Persian land, in the "city in the hills and the plains."

14. There we find the entity was among those sent into the land by the natives of the Grecian forces, and then as there came the hue and cry for more of that special group the entity came, but with the idea of changing from the purpose for which these had been sent - to bring about fear rather than contributing to the welfare of others. The entity attempted to "go it alone", as might be said, or was in that state of waiting for the disputations that might arise, while rising to that position of making the associations. While this was done through correct order and manner, the directions of the activities of each were viewed by the members of the family. For the entity then was associated with those interested in making new mats that were used as articles in various ways and manners; as in keeping of records of various types.

15. These in the present would be the primary basis for the entity's direction and instruction. As indicated, it should be first in journalism, and then - in the first or second or - first year - add those activities as to bring better understanding with others.

16. Before that the entity was in the Egyptian land when there were those activities in preparation for activities of groups in other lands. From these the entity will find that its writings should ever be of historical natures, so that - dependent upon the companionship and association - the activities would make opportunities for fulfilling the desire innate with the experience of the entity.

17. These preparations, then, should be a part of the entity's experience; not long standing preparations but sufficient that the ideals are gathered for those that are to represent to the young men of the present land the meaning of the various forms of body preparations. These should bring easy access to the understanding, in preparations for such groups. These should bring the entity closer to the realization that all is one, and not - as has been felt at times - that there are many varied divisions in same. These are one. For that which causes disturbance to one causes disturbances to the whole organism of same.

18. The name then was Shelah, and those experiences carried the entity into activities in other lands.

19. As to the abilities of the entity in the present that to which it may attain:

20. First analyze self, self's relationship with Creative Forces, self's purposes, self's ideals. Then study to show thyself approved, without condemnation to any.

21. In those activities that partake of journalism, as one who may interpret history of varied lands, of their associations and connections one with another, the entity may use the abilities in what might be called a hobby - but a serious hobby, though not so serious as to seek only a career and not a home. For the home should be the career for any mother.

22. Ready for questions.

23. (Q) What means of expression would best work for happiness and satisfaction? (A) As just indicated, the preparation for journalism in combination with that necessary to present historical settings.

24. (Q) Am I doing right to give up my job at Boeing Aircraft to return to college? (A) If you return to college to study what you should study! If you return to college to do some other way, we would put a fine question mark behind it.

25. (Q) What subjects or fields shall I enter? (A) Read what we have just given - journalism!

26. (Q) Do I have outstanding abilities or possibilities? (A) Lot of possibilities. Not outstanding abilities other than in political economics. You might make a good political economist, but what would you gain if you lost the home building?

27. (Q) Should I marry [2677]? (A) You have been associated before. These can be made constructive associations, provided there is the consideration ever for the activities of the entity not becoming first and foremost but as serious hobbies, yes.

28. (Q) If so, would I find the happiness I want if I should go to Europe and do social work after the war, as his wife? (A) That depends upon what you mean by happiness. The happiness you want and the happiness you make may be one and the same. But you will find the happiness you want if you work at it.

29. (Q) What have been my associations in past incarnations with [2677], and how can the urges be used for our mutual benefit in the present? (A) In the "city in the hills and the plains"; the entity was used by that one who would be the companion in the present, until there was the more perfect understanding of

3355-1 Page 5

what was being carried on "in the city in the hills." Then there were close associations, and the building of a problem - not as a problem, but meeting problems for others. The associations in Egypt were in the selections made in travel, in what would be almost a reproduction of the present activities - provided you each do what you should.
