Time of Reading 11:05 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Maryland.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3423].

3. As we find, there are disturbances that prevent the better physical functioning. These are a combination of disorders.

4. There has been an injury (at the time of a minor nature) to the lower end of the spine and in the locomotory center, so that the sciatic center is involved - or was.

5. Then, when there was the administration of those properties that worked upon the lymph circulation for the healing in the pulmonary areas, this settled as an after effect in the areas of the locomotory axis and the lower end of the coccyx.

6. Hence the inability of the perfect locomotion, or the use of locomotion in feet, ankles, knees and hips - that have been affected by the lack of the proper superficial and deeper circulation to the areas.

7. The body-forces still show the effects of the lack of proper assimilation through the digestive areas.

8. While there are no activities in the lungs, there are those disturbances still in the pleura causing a tendency for adherence; thus at times when there is any excitement, or even cold, there is the inability of getting a long breath, at other times causing the body to sigh deeply.

9. These are conditions as we find them with this body.

10. In making administrations for the corrections:

11. We would neuropathically apply a gentle massage; this about twice each week, using a combination of oils that will produce better stimulation to the circulation through the affected areas, combining these in the order named:

3423-1 Page 2

Nujol......................4 ounces, Oil of Pine Needles........1 ounce.

12. Mix these thoroughly, then add: Peanut Oil.................1 ounce, Olive Oil..................2 ounces, Oil of Sassafras Root....1/2 ounce, Lanolin (liquefied)......1/2 ounce.

13. These we would massage especially into the areas of the lower limbs, though we would include at least once each week the areas about the hips, especially the lower portion of the spine and across the area of the collar bone. Begin with the feet, toes, bursa of the feet, the top and bottom of the muscular forces at knee and ankle or calf of leg. Then the circular motion would be used in the massage, up to the torso and especially around the coccyx, sacral and lumbar areas, twice each week.

14. At least once each week use the violet ray only on the feet. Hence use the applicator that may be laid upon glass and the feet set upon it, for about a minute and gradually increasing to a minute and a half.

15. In the diet we would have those foods tending towards keeping better eliminations - a great deal of fruits of all characters, though we would not eat raw apples but eat these cooked in varied manners, unless the Jonathan apple may be obtained or used. These may be roasted, baked, fried, made into sauce or apple butter, or prepared in any manner desired. Eat plenty of citrus fruits, also raw vegetables. Fish, fowl and lamb should be in the diet, preferably not fried but broiled, boiled, baked or prepared in other manners rather than fried. Especially the smaller chicken or fowl should be used, so that the bony pieces - especially the feet, neck and such parts - may be thoroughly chewed.

16. Do these, and we will find improvements in these conditions for the body.

17. Keep the mental attitude in that way of hopefulness and cheerfulness, making great preparations for the activity of the body - as for riding horseback, bicycling, boating, canoeing. Not only make the body anxious to become active in such, by the conversation about same, but prepare the physical body - as conditions improve - so that these activities may be a part of the body's experience.

18. Ready for questions.

19. (Q) Can you suggest a good neuropath? (A) You will find one very close.

20. We are through with this Reading.
