1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time with suggestions for further corrective measures, answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body: [3436]; this we have had before.
3. There are some changes for improvements and yet the body remains under such stress and strain that it becomes rather hard for recuperative forces to be manifested as they should be. We would find the nearer we keep to those suggestions made the better it will be, and the more rest or a definite period of rest, if it would be taken by the body, would, under the present conditions, be the better for the body.
4. When practical, then, and as much as possible, follow those suggestions which have been indicated.
5. Ready for questions.
6. (Q) Are the injections necessary this year to relieve hay fever? (A) This could be said, yes, and it could be said, no, for it depends upon how thoroughly the body follows through and as to where the periods for the injections from the allergies are spent. It is not necessary if following through or if the period is spent in some other environ.
7. (Q) When will the hay fever condition pass so no further injection will be necessary? (A) This again depends upon how these are carried through and where they are carried through. For if there is built the body-consciousness that nothing else will do - nothing will do!
8. (Q) Should there be any change in the treatment for the acid condition? (A) Only as to adhering to the diets and those activities of the body. These will keep a better balanced alkalinity in the system.
9. (Q) What diet is best for this body?
3436-3 Page 2
(A) That which is body-building. At least one heavy meal. This in the evening. Other periods, rather that which is altogether alkaline; morning and noon, then alkaline diets. Fruits are alkaline-producing, vegetables which are alkaline-producing. Not too much meats. At the evening or the heavier meal have proteins and a well balanced, strengthening, building-up diet.
10. (Q) Are alcohol, meat and tobacco detrimental to this body? (A) Alcohol is detrimental. Meat, this depends upon whether in moderation and upon when and under what conditions it is taken. Tobacco in moderation, no.
11. (Q) Are glasses correct and can any help be given for the eyes? (A) Rest, and head and neck exercises, and we will improve the eyes. The glasses at present are very well.
12. (Q) Any further advice on body in general? (A) You'd better take a rest if you don't want a long rest!
13. (Q) Give condition of spine now and advise. (A) This is some better but, as has just indicated, there is such a strenuous strain under which the body labors without rest, these do not keep in adjustments at all times.
