Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Pennsylvania.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3452].
3. As we find, conditions are rather serious with this body. Unless there can be aroused, through the spiritual attitudes about the body, the real desire in self to carry on in the present, it will continue to waste away.
4. The disturbances in the beginning arose from an accident; not anyone's fault, but an accident. This brought an injury to the coccyx end of the spine. The pressures are in such a manner as to affect through the sympathetic nerves and the central nervous system the glands, especially in the lacteal ducts, and in the ducts through the other portion of the jejunum.
5. Also activities to the system were caused that cut off the Periods. Thus sympathetically we have a reaction to the organs - all of the organs of the pelvis.
6. Hence the sympathetic nerves through the imaginative or vegetative nerve system have been affected. So, the body becomes rather a hypochondriac, in that it accepts or rejects without any consideration as to whether it is reasonable or unreasonable.
7. Then the body is affected in regard to foods, so that food values have little effect upon the body.
8. Thus the respiratory system, the perspiratory system is almost stopped. There is never any activity of this, even with heat applied.
9. In the respiratory system there is little of a full or complete oxidization of the lungs, or the blood through the lungs, as a response to the activities.

10. The stomach itself is low acting, tending at times even to destroy in itself the insufficient hydrochlorics, and the little lactics in the upper portion. Even the salivary glands are found to be more acid than alkaline.
11. All of these tend to make for the deteriorating reactions through this body.
12. As we find, in making applications, the mental, the imaginative, the spiritual, the purposefulness must be appealed to. Little of this will be done by the physician now in charge. The nurse, the minister may help - if they don't go doubting themselves. But with this desire on the part of the body, begin with gentle adjustments. We would have these done by Frew. These we would make in the sacral and lumbar, gently, and also between the shoulders, and the head and neck.
13. Later in two to three to four weeks, begin to apply wet heat across the sacral and the coccyx, and straighten the coccyx - from the pressures at the end of the same.
14. As to food values, give the body Beef Juice as medicine. Eggnog cooked with Spirits Frumenti, and a little milk added, will give strength to the body.
15. If there is aroused the desire for living, we will find responses as these applications are made. A little later the adding of gelatin - the pure Knox gelatin stirred in water and taken at once - would be well.
16. Also we would add later the KalDak as a tonic, as a stimulant.
17. And, if there is first the response of self, there may be brought back normalcy in eight to twelve months.
18. Do that.
19. Ready for questions.
20. We are through with this reading. Two copies to Father - (one for Dr. Frew [Harry B. Frew, D.O.]) Copy to Ass'n file " " Miss Goodall for indexing
